Pattern-Adam & Eve [KG]

1 963
Ever stare at a chart thinking, "that bottom looks like a V… and that one looks like a cereal bowl"? This script has you covered.

The basic idea: It hunts for the classic Adam & Eve reversal setup — one sharp, spiky bottom (Adam, the V) followed by a rounder, lazier bottom (Eve, the U) — both landing near the same price level, with a "neckline" peak in between. If price then busts through that neckline, boom: breakout signal. Flip the whole thing upside down and you get the bearish mirror image (V-top + dome-top).

How it decides what's what:

Uses pivot highs/lows to find the two bottoms
Checks they're roughly equal (tolerance scaled by ATR, so it adapts to volatility)
Ensures the pattern is deep enough and that there's a prior trend heading into Adam
Counts how many bars sit inside a band around each bottom — few bars = sharp V (Adam), many bars = rounded U (Eve). Cute little trick, honestly.

What you get on the chart:
Neckline drawn across the pattern
Shaded triangles/bowls for Adam and Eve
Labels ("Adam", "Eve", "V + U", "Neckline Breakout")

Arrows for the prior trend and the projected measured move
Triangle markers on breakout bars, plus alert conditions

Bonus: There's a built-in reference gallery — a little picture panel (toggleable) that draws textbook bearish and bullish Adam & Eve examples out in chart space, so you don't have to remember what the pattern is supposed to look like.

Tuning knobs: pivot length, ATR period, max ATR difference between bottoms, minimum depth, min/max bars between Adam & Eve, trend lookback, max bars to wait for breakout, V-vs-U band width, colors, and gallery placement. Plenty to fiddle with if you're the fiddling type.

⚠️ Disclaimer: This is a pattern-detection tool. "Adam & Eve" showing up doesn't guarantee a reversal any more than a hammer candlestick guarantees you'll get rich. Past patterns ≠ future profits — always do your own analysis and risk management before treating any signal as a trade. Happy Trading mates !!
