How to Read the Shadow
• Green shadow: The 21 EMA is above the 55 EMA, indicating bullish market conditions.
• Red shadow: The 21 EMA is below the 55 EMA, indicating bearish market conditions.
• Expanding shadow: The distance between the EMAs is increasing, which may indicate strengthening momentum.
• Contracting shadow: The EMAs are moving closer together, which may indicate weakening momentum, consolidation, or a possible trend change.
• EMA crossover: The 21 and 55 EMAs are crossing, which may indicate that the market is transitioning into a different trend.
Customization
Select the settings gear beside the indicator’s name.
• Use the Inputs tab to change the bullish and bearish shadow colors or transparency.
• Use the Style tab to change the EMA line colors, thickness, or visibility.
Important
The S.T.R.I.K.E. EMA Shadow is a trend filter. It does not provide buy signals, sell signals, stop losses, take profits, or trade alerts.
Confirm potential entries using support and resistance, market structure, liquidity, break-close-retest confirmation, and price action. Because the shadow can change while the current candle is open, use a closed candle when confirming a trend change.
