Introduction
Thomas Strong Pressure Radar is a multi-factor technical analysis indicator developed to help traders evaluate market pressure, trend direction, momentum, candle behavior, and price structure through a unified chart interface.
The indicator combines several technical calculations into a pressure-scoring framework. Instead of relying on a single indicator or one market condition, it evaluates multiple factors to provide a broader view of bullish and bearish market conditions.
Its main objective is to help traders observe changing market pressure, identify potential directional bias, and review important technical levels in a structured way.
The indicator is designed for traders interested in price action, trend analysis, momentum, volume activity, and market structure.

1. Bullish and Bearish Pressure Engine
The core feature is a pressure-scoring system that evaluates five technical components.
Bullish Pressure
Bullish trend alignment
Bullish candle strength
Relative volume activity
RSI momentum
Recent price structure
Bearish Pressure
Bearish trend alignment
Bearish candle strength
Relative volume activity
RSI momentum
Recent price structure
Each component contributes to a calculated score, with a maximum score of 100 for each direction.
The dashboard displays the bullish and bearish scores separately, helping traders compare the calculated pressure on both sides.
These scores represent the indicator's technical calculations. They are not probabilities of success or guaranteed market predictions.

2. Market Status and Directional Bias
The indicator evaluates bullish and bearish pressure to determine the current technical bias.
Depending on the calculated conditions, the dashboard can display:
LONG
SHORT
BULLISH BIAS
BEARISH BIAS
WAIT
A directional bias is generated when the selected pressure threshold is reached and one side has a stronger score than the other.
This helps traders distinguish between stronger directional conditions and periods where the indicator has no qualifying bias.

3. Trend Analysis
The trend component uses three exponential moving averages:
EMA 21
EMA 50
EMA 200
These moving averages help evaluate short-term and broader trend alignment.
The dashboard also displays the relationship between price and the main trend EMA.
Traders can use this information to understand whether current price conditions are aligned with the broader trend or moving against it.

4. Momentum and RSI Exhaustion
The indicator uses the Relative Strength Index (RSI) to evaluate momentum conditions.
The RSI calculation contributes to the bullish and bearish pressure scores.
The dashboard also highlights potential exhaustion conditions when RSI moves above 70 or below 30.
These readings do not independently confirm a reversal. Strong trends can remain overbought or oversold for extended periods.

5. Candle Pressure and Rejection Analysis
Candle structure is another component of the pressure engine.

The indicator evaluates:
Candle direction
Candle body size relative to its total range
Upper-wick rejection
Lower-wick rejection
These calculations provide additional context about the current candle's price behavior.
The dashboard displays the calculated rejection percentage as a reference for observing candle structure.

6. Relative Volume Analysis
Volume can provide useful context about market participation.
When enabled, the volume filter compares current volume with its moving average.
Higher relative volume contributes to the corresponding directional pressure calculation when candle direction supports that condition.
Volume is not an independent confirmation of buying or selling. It should be considered together with price action and market structure.

7. Market Structure: BOS and CHoCH
The indicator includes pivot-based market structure analysis.
It identifies potential:
Bullish BOS: A confirmed close above the latest recorded swing high.
Bearish BOS: A confirmed close below the latest recorded swing low.
Bullish CHoCH: An upside structure break following a bearish structural state.
Bearish CHoCH: A downside structure break following a bullish structural state.
These events are displayed with chart lines and labels.
The swing length setting controls the sensitivity of structure detection.
Pivot-based calculations require confirmation bars, so structure points are identified with a delay.

8. Support and Resistance
The indicator plots support and resistance reference levels using confirmed swing points.
Support is based on the latest confirmed pivot low.
Resistance is based on the latest confirmed pivot high.
These levels can help traders observe areas where price may react or where market structure may change.
They are technical reference levels, not guaranteed reversal zones.

9. Session Range Analysis
The session module tracks the selected trading session's high and low.
After the selected session finishes, the indicator displays its completed high and low as reference levels.

Session settings include:
Session time
Timezone selection
Previous session high
Previous session low
This feature can be useful when studying intraday price behavior around session boundaries.
The selected session and timezone should be configured according to the market being analyzed.

10. Automatic Entry, Stop Loss and Take Profit
The indicator includes automatic trade-level calculations when a qualifying LONG or SHORT signal appears.
istantanea
The chart can display:
Entry
Stop Loss
TP1
TP2
TP3
The stop-loss distance is calculated using Average True Range (ATR).
Take-profit levels are calculated using configurable risk-to-reward settings.

Default settings:
Stop Loss: 1.5 ATR
TP1: 1:1 Risk-to-Reward
TP2: 1:2 Risk-to-Reward
TP3: 1:3 Risk-to-Reward
These levels are mathematical reference points based on the signal candle's closing price and ATR calculation.
They do not account for every execution factor, including slippage, spread, commissions, or liquidity conditions.

11. Pressure Dashboard
The dashboard brings the main calculations together in one place.
It displays:
Current market status
Burst state
Latest directional information
Bullish pressure score
Bearish pressure score
Trend alignment
RSI exhaustion
Candle rejection
Calm market regime
Previous session range
Active entry reference
Stop-loss reference
Overall pressure score
The purpose is to provide a compact overview without requiring traders to inspect every calculation separately.
The dashboard values are technical estimates and should be interpreted in the context of the chart.

12. Alerts
The indicator provides alert conditions for:
LONG signal
SHORT signal
Bullish structure break
Bearish structure break
Traders can create TradingView alerts using the available alert conditions.
Signals are confirmed at candle close. Alerts should be configured according to individual preferences and TradingView's alert settings.

13. How to Use the Indicator
A suggested analysis process:
Step 1 — Check the Pressure Scores
Compare bullish and bearish pressure to understand which direction currently has the stronger calculated score.
Step 2 — Review Trend Alignment
Observe EMA 21, EMA 50, and EMA 200 to understand the broader trend.
Step 3 — Check Momentum
Review RSI and potential exhaustion conditions.
Step 4 — Study Market Structure
Observe BOS, CHoCH, support, and resistance levels.
Step 5 — Review Session Levels
Use the previous completed session's high and low as additional technical references.
Step 6 — Evaluate Signals
If a LONG or SHORT signal appears, review the market conditions rather than relying on the signal alone.
Step 7 — Review Trade Levels
Check the calculated Entry, Stop Loss, and take-profit levels before making any trading decision.
Recommended Markets and Timeframes
The indicator can be tested on different liquid markets.

Suggested markets:
Gold (XAUUSD)
Bitcoin (BTCUSD)

Suggested starting timeframes:
1H
4H
The results and signal frequency can vary across instruments, brokers, data feeds, and timeframes.
The settings should be adjusted and tested according to the instrument being analyzed.
Settings and Customization

The indicator includes adjustable settings for:
Pressure lookback

This allows traders to adapt the indicator's calculations and visual presentation to their preferred analysis style.
Important Methodology and Limitations
Thomas Strong Pressure Radar is based on technical calculations using price, candle structure, volume, moving averages, RSI, pivots, and ATR.
The pressure score is a custom weighted calculation. It is not actual institutional order flow, a direct measurement of buyer/seller transactions, or a statistical probability of a successful trade.
BOS and CHoCH are based on confirmed pivot levels and therefore have confirmation delays.
Session levels depend on the selected session and timezone.
Automatic targets are reference calculations and do not guarantee that price will reach them.
The indicator does not guarantee profitable results, eliminate false signals, or replace independent market analysis.
Always evaluate market conditions and apply appropriate risk management before making trading decisions.

14. Important Note

To make the chart easier to understand, I have added extra elements—BOS, CHoCH, strong/weak highs and lows, FVG, and manual targets—which are not part of the indicator itself.
