ETH EMA Chandelier Trend Rider v1
The strategy is designed for markets that show strong directional phases, deep liquidity, and frequent trend continuation behavior. ETHUSD and ETHUSDT on the 1H chart are the main intended use cases.
The system combines:
- EMA-based trend regime detection
- Chandelier-based entries and exits
- Separate long and short exit engines
- Higher timeframe trend confirmation
- HTF regime age filtering
- Volume participation filtering
- Short-side overextension protection
- Short fast-distance protection
- Long exit debounce logic
- No direct reverse entries
The goal of the strategy is not to predict every market move. It is designed to participate in stronger ETH trend phases while filtering out some lower-quality setups and managing long/short behavior separately.
Suggested setup:
- Market: ETHUSD or ETHUSDT
- Timeframe: 1H
- Higher timeframe filter: 3H
- Conservative sizing: 25% equity
- More aggressive sizing: 50% equity
- Commission used in examples: 0.05%
- Slippage used in examples: 1 tick
Important limitations:
This strategy is not a universal trading bot. It was not designed for every coin, every timeframe, or every asset class. Results may vary significantly on BTC, altcoins, stocks, commodities, or low-liquidity symbols. Any market other than ETH 1H should be tested separately before use.
