Previous Time-Based Ranges

Previous Time-Based Ranges
Plots the last closed range of up to three higher timeframes on your chart. Each slot is independent. Defaults are the previous day, previous week, and previous month. Any timeframe works, including 4H and 12H.
The previous candle is the last completed bar of that timeframe. It does not update or repaint while the current period is still open.
What you see
A box over the previous period, teal after a bullish close and rose after a bearish close.
A vertical line at the open of the current period.
Rays and labels for the previous high and low. A 12-hour range is labeled P12H High / P12H Low. A daily range is PD High / PD Low. A 4-hour range is P4H. Weekly is PW, monthly is PM.
Optional 25%, 50%, and 75% rays. These are retracements of that previous candle, not fixed distances up from the low. On a bullish candle the 75% retrace sits in the lower half and the 25% retrace sits in the upper half. On a bearish candle they swap.
Dashboard
The table shows, for each enabled slot:
Where price is inside the range: Above High, Deep Premium, Premium, Discount, D. Discount, or Below Low.
Location as a percent of the range, measured from the low.
Whether the current period has touched the high, 75%, 50%, 25%, and low. A dash means that level is turned off.
Place the table in any of the nine positions (top, middle, or bottom; left, center, or right). Text size, background, and text color are adjustable.
Settings, per slot
Enable or disable the slot.
Timeframe.
Bullish and bearish box colors.
Vertical line on/off, color, style, and width.
How many bars the rays extend past the current bar.
Separate checkboxes for 75%, 50%, and 25%.
One ray color, style, and width for every ray in that slot.
Label color.
Alerts
An alert fires once on the bar that first touches a level. High and low always alert. 25%, 50%, and 75% alert only when that checkbox is on. A disabled slot does not alert.
When you create the alert, choose Any alert() function call for a message that includes the timeframe, the level, and the price. Or pick one condition: Slot 1–3 High, Low, 75%, 50%, 25%, or Any level.
This is a visual and alert tool. It does not place orders and it is not a signal of direction.
