ATK/DEF Support Resistance SR Power Range
Overview
ATK/DEF S/R Power Range is a custom market structure analysis indicator designed to stud historical pric reaction areas through adaptive volatility measurement, swing structure analysis, volume participation, and candle pressure behavior.
Unlike traditional static support and resistance tools that rely only on horizontal price levels or manually selected zones, this indicator introduces an ATR-based adaptive calculat framework to evalua the historical significance and strength of previous market reaction points.
The purpose of this indicator is to provide a structured visualization of how histor price areas develop, how much market activity occurred around those areas, and how current price behavior interacts with previously established zones.
Core Concept
Market reaction areas are not only determined by pric location. Different historical poin may contain different levels of participation, volatility impact, and market activity.
ATK/DEF S/R Power Range combines multiple independent measurements to create a more dynamic observation model:
Swing structure identification
ATR-based volatility normalization
Historical reaction strength calculation
Volume participation analysis
Candle pressure balance measurement
These components work together to evaluate the relative strength characteristics of historical price regions.
Adaptive S/R Power Calculation
The indicator uses ATR-based normalization to adapt the calculation according to current market volatility conditions.
Instead of treating every pric movement equally, the system measures historical swing points with consideration of:
Volatility environment through ATR
Relative volume activity
Distanc from current market area
Historic importance weighting
This creates a dynamic power calculation that reflects how significant each detected swi area has been under previous market conditions.
Historical Swing Structure Analysis
The indicator identifies historical swing highs and swing lows to build a database of previous market reaction points.
