ETHUSDT | Bearish BOS into Discount — FVG Retrace for Continuati

On the 4H timeframe, ETHUSDT is showing a clear bearish shift in market structure following a decisive Break of Structure (BOS) to the downside, indicating continuation within a broader bearish context.
Leading into this move, price was consolidating around equilibrium (0.5), forming relatively equal highs — a potential pool of Buy-Side Liquidity (BSL). This liquidity was not meaningfully expanded upon, and instead, price delivered aggressively lower, suggesting internal weakness and distribution rather than expansion.
The displacement candle created a well-defined Fair Value Gap (FVG) in the discount zone, which is particularly interesting because it signals inefficiency after a strong sell program. Additionally, a higher FVG remains unmitigated in the premium zone, reinforcing the idea that price is still trading below key supply areas.
From an ICT perspective, this aligns with a bearish Power of 3: accumulation near equilibrium, followed by a subtle manipulation phase, and then a sharp distribution move into the lows — likely engineering Sell-Side Liquidity (SSL) below.
At this stage, I am anticipating a corrective retracement into the lower FVG (discount imbalance). If price trades back into this zone and shows a lower timeframe Change of Character (CHoCH) or rejection, it would provide a clean short setup in line with the current order flow.
Targets are set toward the external SSL resting below the recent swing lows, with potential continuation if that liquidity is cleared.
Invalidation would be a strong bullish expansion reclaiming equilibrium and holding above the FVG, which would suggest a potential shift in structure.
