Key Ecosystem & Technical Milestones
• ICANN Domain Progress: On October 9, 2026, the project passed a major review for its own .ICP top-level internet domain. This is a massive step forward for integrating traditional web infrastructure directly with the blockchain.
Record On-Chain Revenue: On October 5, 2026, the DFINITY Foundation confirmed that ICP's monthly on-chain revenue crossed $360,000. Because developers must buy and burn ICP tokens to secure "cycles" for smart contracts, this record high signals intense developer usage and a growing deflationary push on token supply
OISY Wallet Adds XRP: The popular native OISY Wallet released version 2.6.0, integrating XRP alongside BTC, ETH, and ICP. This relies on ICP's unique "Chain Fusion" tech, which hosts multi-asset portfolios entirely on-chain without relying on traditional crypto bridges
