KSE-100 Index – Daily Time Frame Technical Outlook
Previously Defined Market Scenarios
We had earlier outlined three probable scenarios for the KSE-100 Index:
1. Bullish Resumption Scenario
2. Trading Range Scenario
3. Bearish Breakdown Scenario
In today’s session, the index decisively acted upon the Bullish Resumption Scenario, which had been intimated earlier in the day.
Bullish Breakout Confirmation
The index delivered a strong upward move, breaking above both the immediate resistance and primary resistance levels in a single session.
Additionally, it surpassed the key bullish trend resumption level at 162,000 points, confirming a shift in short-term momentum.
The index closed near its intraday high at 165,810 points, reflecting strong bullish participation.
Newly Established Support Structure
Following this impulsive move, new support levels have been established:
Immediate Support: 161,500 points
Secondary Support: 158,640 points
These levels now act as the first line of defense in case of short-term pullbacks.
Critical & Major Support Zones
The broader structural supports remain unchanged and continue to hold strategic importance:
Critical Support: 144,720 points
Main Support Zone: 138,000 – 134,000 points
These zones have been previously highlighted and remain key for maintaining the long-term bullish structure.
Resistance Hierarchy Reclassification
With the breakout in place, resistance levels have been redefined:
Immediate Resistance: Break above current levels (confirmation trigger)
Secondary Resistance: 180,000 – 182,000 points
Major / Final Resistance: 190,800 points
The level previously categorized as resistance has now been absorbed, shifting the resistance structure higher.
Trend Confirmation Criteria
Despite the bullish breakout, confirmation of a sustained uptrend is still pending.
For validation, the index must:
Form a higher low, and
Follow through with a higher high
Until this structure is established, the move should be treated as an early-stage bullish resumption, not a fully confirmed trend reversal.
Strategic Outlook & Advisory
While momentum has shifted to the bullish side, caution remains warranted.
Market participants are advised to:
Wait for structural confirmation
Avoid aggressive positioning at current levels
Monitor price action around newly formed supports
Important Note
As always, index levels should be treated strictly as guidelines.
All trading decisions must be executed based on individual stock setups, proper risk management, and confirmation signals rather than relying solely on index movement.
