GOLD | Middle East Tensions Keep Pressure on Bullion
Gold extended its decline as renewed Middle East tensions supported expectations that inflation could remain elevated, reinforcing the higher-for-longer interest-rate outlook.
The market remains highly sensitive to geopolitical developments. Continued escalation may keep pressure on gold through inflation and rate expectations, while any clear de-escalation could support a stronger recovery.
Technical Analysis
Gold is currently consolidating between 4,062 and 4,076, awaiting a confirmed breakout.
A 1H candle close below 4,062 would support bearish continuation toward 4,052 and 4,033.
A break below 4,033 would expose the next downside target at 3,996.
However, stability above 4,076, especially with a confirmed 1H candle close, would support a bullish move toward 4,097 and 4,123.
In a clear de-escalation scenario, bullish momentum could extend toward 4,181.
Support: 4,062 – 4,033 – 3,996
Resistance: 4,097 – 4,123 – 4,181

GOLD | CPI and Fed Testimony to Drive the Next MoveGold recovered slightly after touching a two-week low as investors await today's U.S. CPI report and Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's congressional testimony, both expected to create strong volatility.
Technically
The price dropped around $85 exactly as we mentioned in our previous idea, respecting the bearish scenario.
Now, as long as price trades below 4033, bearish momentum remains valid toward 4015, and a break below that level could extend the decline toward 3992.
If the price can stabilize below 3992, the bearish trend is expected to continue toward 3960.
However, a break above 4033 would support a bullish correction toward 4062 and 4075.
Today's CPI will be the key market catalyst:
Below the expected 3.8%: Bullish for Gold.
Above 3.8%: Bearish for Gold.
Pivot Line: 4033
Support: 4015 – 3992 – 3960
Resistance: 4062 – 4075 – 4097
