8AM ORB Master Strategy
This indicator automates the full 8AM Opening Range Breakout (ORB) strategy, built around a midpoint bounce and reversal setup. The opening range is defined by the 8:00–8:15 AM Eastern session, and the indicator handles everything from range detection to trade management levels — all plotted automatically on your chart.
How it works:
The indicator builds the ORB High, Low, and Midpoint from the first three 5-minute candles of the session. It then monitors for price to interact with the midpoint level and confirm a reversal in either direction. When a valid setup forms, it fires a Long or Short signal and marks all relevant levels instantly.
What gets plotted automatically:
ORB build box (8:00–8:15 window)
ORB High, Low, and Midpoint lines with price labels
Entry arrow with entry price
Stop loss line (ORB Low for longs / ORB High for shorts)
TP1, TP2, and TP3 at 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 risk/reward
Live entry checklist panel (top-right corner)
Checklist panel includes:
ORB built confirmation, news filter status, midpoint bounce detection, reversal candle confirmation, direction clarity, and a manual reminder to confirm on the 1-minute and 3-minute charts.
Settings:
🚫 News filter toggle — manually disable all signals around high-impact news events
Adjustable bounce zone sensitivity
Toggle TP1/TP2/TP3 individually
Customizable line length and colors

OverviewThe 8AM ORB Master is a high-conviction trading system designed for the 5-minute timeframe.
Unlike standard Opening Range Breakout (ORB) tools that trigger on every price cross, this strategy uses a "Break, Retest, and Reject" framework to filter out retail fakeouts and align with institutional flow.
How It Works
1. Range Construction
The script monitors the 8:00 AM – 8:15 AM Eastern pre-market window to establish the initial volatility floor and ceiling.
2. Breakout & Retest
It tracks when price closes outside the range but waits for a return to the midpoint or ORB boundary to confirm the level as new support or resistance.
3. The Signal
A trade is only triggered when a rejection candle (long wick) occurs at key levels, confirming institutional buying or selling pressure.
The "Smart Money" Filter Stack
To ensure profitability and robustness, every trade must pass three behind-the-scenes checks:
Trend Alignment
Longs are only allowed above the 200 EMA, and shorts below it.
Volume Confirmation
The breakout candle must have Relative Volume > 1.2, indicating strong participation.
Momentum Neutrality
The RSI must not be overextended, avoiding entries at the top or bottom of moves.
Risk Management Features
One & Done Rule
Limits execution to one trade per day to prevent overtrading during choppy conditions.

Stop losses are placed behind:

This allows room for normal market volatility.
