Guard Rails [Aurabot]

268
Guard Rails draws the overnight trend tunnel and carries it into the New York session. It shows the angle the market traveled overnight, the channel that held it, and outer rails that mark where the day is stretching beyond that path.

HOW IT WORKS
From midnight to 8 AM ET (both adjustable), the script fits a straight trend line through the overnight closes. The tunnel is the slanted channel around that line that contained every overnight candle. While it forms, it is drawn dotted. At the lock time it is fixed and projected forward through the day. Outer guard rails are placed one tunnel height (adjustable) beyond each edge.

WHAT YOU SEE
The overnight trend line, the tunnel edges, shaded rail zones above and below, and the outer rails extended through the session. Past days can stay on the chart for review.

HOW TO USE IT
The tunnel tells you the overnight angle. The tunnel itself is usually broken during New York, so the outer rails are the important part: they mark where the day has stretched well beyond the overnight path. Treat a rail as the edge of the expected move, not as an automatic bounce level.

ALERTS
Close above the upper rail, close below the lower rail.

LIMITATIONS
Works on intraday charts up to 1 hour. The tunnel is only final at the lock time. A quiet or very choppy overnight session gives a weaker angle.

OPEN SOURCE
The code is open so you can see exactly how the tunnel and rails are built. Free to learn from under the license in the script header.
