Prop Firm Daily Reset Lines

466
Every prop firm has a daily loss limit, and every firm starts its day at a different time. This indicator draws a vertical line where your firm's trading day starts, so you can see on the chart which candles still count toward today's limit.

I run trading agents on crypto prop accounts, and each one has to know when its firm's day starts. Kraken Prop resets at 00:30 UTC. Bitfunded resets at 16:00 UTC. A loss at 00:15 UTC belongs to yesterday at one firm and to today at another.

HOW TO USE

Pick your firm in the settings. The line appears at the start of each trading day on any intraday chart. The table in the corner shows when the next day starts, in UTC, and how long is left.

If you trade at several firms, turn on "Show all 9 firms". Each firm gets its own color, and the table lists all of them.

For a firm that isn't on the list, choose Custom and enter the hour, minute and time zone.

RESET TIMES (from each firm's published rules, checked 19 Oct 2026)

HyroTrader: 00:00 UTC
Propr: 00:00 UTC
Crypto Fund Trader: 00:05 UTC
Kraken Prop: 00:30 UTC
Breakout: 00:30 UTC
Velotrade: 00:30 UTC
E8 Markets: 00:00 server time. The server runs on UTC+3 and moves to UTC+2 in early November, so the day starts at 21:00 UTC in summer and 22:00 UTC in winter.
BrightFunded: between 23:30 and 23:59 CET (rollover). The line is drawn at 23:30.
Bitfunded: 00:00 UTC+8, which is 16:00 UTC.

DAYLIGHT SAVING

E8 and BrightFunded use clocks that change with the season. The script calculates them in their own time zone, so the line moves by one hour on the right date. You don't need to change anything.

Two settings in "Clock details" exist because the firms' wording leaves room:
E8: the default follows the server switch in early November and March (00:00 server time = 17:00 New York). If your E8 platform shows a different server time, pick fixed UTC+3 or UTC+2.
BrightFunded: the rules say "CET". The default reads it as Amsterdam local time, which is CEST in summer. From late October to late March both options give the same time, 22:30 UTC.

WHAT THIS DOESN'T DO

It doesn't know your balance and doesn't calculate your limit. It shows when the day starts, nothing else. Firms change their rules, so check your firm's rulebook before you rely on a time. I update the script when a firm changes its reset.

Lines show on intraday timeframes. On daily and higher charts you'll see only the table.
