Eye Wyckoff Phases [EyeAlgo]

1 102
Eye Wyckoff Phases maps the full Wyckoff accumulation and distribution schematic on your chart — climax, range, Spring / UTAD, Sign of Strength / Weakness and the LPS / LPSY entry — and tracks how every setup played out in a live dashboard.

🟢 OVERVIEW
Wyckoff is one of the most respected ways to read a trading range, but it is hard to apply consistently: labels are drawn in hindsight, every trader marks the phases differently, and most tools stop at labels without a plan or any measurement. Eye Wyckoff Phases turns the method into clear, rule-based steps that confirm on bar close and are measured on your own chart.

It answers three questions:
▶ Is price building an accumulation or a distribution range right now, and which phase is it in?
▶ What event is the market waiting for next, and where is the setup invalid?
▶ When an LPS / LPSY or Spring Test appears, where are the entry, stop and targets — and how did earlier setups on this chart work out?

🟢 WHAT MAKES IT ORIGINAL
▶ One state machine for both schematics: SC / BC → AR → ST → Spring / UTAD → Test → SOS / SOW → LPS / LPSY → Markup / Markdown, with Phase A–E markers on the range box.
▶ Range re-anchor: when price breaks the climax side on a new climax bar, the range is extended to the new extreme instead of failing (up to the "Max range re-anchors" input).
▶ Spring / UTAD quality score 0–100 from four parts: depth beyond the range, volume dry-up vs the climax, how fast price closed back inside, and where the bar closed.
▶ Setup score 0–100 and A / B / C grade from seven parts: climax strength, Spring quality, Test, SOS / SOW effort, cause length, low-effort LPS / LPSY and higher-timeframe bias.
▶ Two entry types: the classic LPS / LPSY after the breakout, and an earlier Spring Test entry.
▶ Three targets: TP1 = half the range height beyond the breakout level, TP2 = one full range height, TP3 = the cause target (range height scaled by how long the range lasted).
▶ Self-tracking dashboard: last 10 trades, 30-day and all-time results, TP1 / TP2 / TP3 hit rates, average R, Spring → SOS rate and failed ranges.
▶ Live read-outs: confidence %, event checklist, "waiting for" next step, invalidation level, volume story and effort vs result.
▶ Schematic map panel that lights up each event as it happens, and JSON-ready alerts for webhooks.

🟢 HOW IT WORKS
1. Climax & range
A Selling Climax needs a close below the trend EMA, the lowest low of the climax lookback, a wide bar (x ATR) and unusual volume (volume z-score). A Buying Climax is the mirror. The Automatic Rally / Reaction is confirmed when price pulls back by the "AR confirm pullback" distance; climax and AR form the range box (minimum and maximum height in ATR).

2. Phase B & Spring / UTAD
The Secondary Test must return near the climax side on lower volume than the climax. After the minimum Phase B bars, a dip beyond the range that closes back inside within "Bars to close back inside" and no deeper than "Max Spring / UTAD depth" is a Spring (UTAD in distribution). A later retest on lower volume is the Test. A deeper break either re-anchors the range (new climax bar) or fails it.

3. SOS / SOW & LPS / LPSY
SOS / SOW is a close beyond the breakout level with a strong body and enough volume. The LPS / LPSY is the first pullback into the "LPS zone around breakout level" that holds the range midpoint and closes back beyond the level in the upper (lower) half of the bar.

4. Trade plan & targets
The LPS / LPSY stop goes to the range mid, the LPS low / high or the Spring / UTAD extreme ("LPS stop placement") plus a buffer. Spring Test trades use the Spring / UTAD extreme. With scale-out on, 1/3 closes at each target, the stop moves to entry after TP1 and to TP1 after TP2. Each target is kept at least 1R / 0.5R apart.

5. Score, grade & stats
Every setup gets a 0–100 score (A = 75+, B = 55+, C below). Closed trades are stored with their result in R and feed the dashboard and the "Last 10" strip.

🟢 RESEARCH BEHIND THE DEFAULTS
Measured on OANDA:EURUSD 30m with default settings over the loaded chart history (in-sample, before spread and commission, not a performance expectation): 54 ranges (25 failed, 5 re-anchored), 22 trades, TP1 reached 68%, TP2 32%, TP3 14%, average +1.37R per trade, UTAD → SOW follow-through 59% (10 of 17). Results change with the instrument, timeframe and history length, so test the parameters and timeframe on your own instrument before relying on them.

🟢 HOW TO USE
1. Add the indicator and let the chart load full history.
2. Read the dashboard: schematic, phase, confidence and "Waiting for" tell you where the range stands.
3. Watch the invalidation level — a close beyond it ends the idea.
4. When an LPS / LPSY or Spring Test label prints with a grade, the trade block shows entry, stop and TP1–TP3 with their R.
5. Check the PERFORMANCE section for how this setup type has done on the same chart before acting.

🟢 HOW TO CHANGE SETTINGS
1. Open the indicator settings (gear icon).
2. Change one group at a time and compare the PERFORMANCE section before and after.
3. Keep the settings that suit your instrument and timeframe.
Quick guide:
▶ Fewer, larger ranges: raise "Climax volume (z-score)" or "Min range height (x ATR)".
▶ More ranges on quiet markets: lower "Climax bar size (x ATR)" or "Climax volume (z-score)".
▶ Stricter Springs: lower "Max Spring / UTAD depth (x ATR)" or "Bars to close back inside".
▶ Only the best setups: set "Minimum setup grade" to A or B.
▶ Earlier entries: "Entry type" = LPS + Spring Test; later entries: LPS only.
▶ Wider stops: "LPS stop placement" = Range mid; tighter: LPS low / high.

🟢 SETTINGS
▶ Climax & Range — climax lookback, trend EMA, climax volume and size, AR pullback, range height limits, max bars to AR, max range life, re-anchors.
▶ Wyckoff Events — ST / Test zone and volume, minimum Phase B bars, Spring / UTAD depth and close-back bars, SOS / SOW volume and body, LPS window and zone, Phase E distance.
▶ Trade Plan — show plan, entry type, direction, minimum grade, stop placement and buffer, cause reference and max multiple, scale-out, max bars in trade.
▶ Context — higher timeframe used for the HTF bias and the score.
▶ Visuals — range box, labels (short or full names), phase markers, failed-range marks, floating summary label, schematics kept, label size, colours.
▶ Dashboard — on/off, Full or Compact, 9 positions, theme (Auto / Dark / Light), font size, schematic map and its position.
▶ Alerts — new range, events, entries, targets / stops, failed ranges, JSON message.

🟢 ALERTS
▶ New Wyckoff range
▶ Spring / UTAD
▶ Test of Spring / UTAD
▶ SOS / SOW
▶ Trade entry
▶ TP1 hit / TP2 hit / TP3 hit
▶ Stop hit
▶ Range failed
A detailed "Any alert() function call" alert sends one message per bar close with every event of that bar (entry, stop and targets included); turn on "JSON message (webhooks)" to receive it as a JSON array.

🟢 IMPORTANT NOTES & LIMITATIONS
▶ All events are confirmed on bar close only; nothing repaints after the bar closes.
▶ Some labels (AR, Spring / UTAD) are drawn back on the bar where the extreme happened, once the event is confirmed a few bars later.
▶ The HTF bias uses the previous closed higher-timeframe bar.
▶ Statistics come from the history loaded on your chart, are in-sample and before spread / commission, and change with the instrument and timeframe.
▶ Forex and CFD symbols use tick volume; without volume data the climax uses bar size instead.
▶ Older schematics are removed to stay under TradingView's 500-drawing limit ("Schematics kept on chart").
▶ Wyckoff labels here follow fixed rules and can differ from a discretionary read.
▶ The indicator does not place trades.
