✨ Originality and Utility
● A Unique Synthesis of Methodologies
Traditional indicators often isolate single variables—either momentum, volatility, or price structure. This tool is highly original because it seamlessly bridges classic SMC (like Change of Character and Order Blocks) with quantitative gap theory and linear regression.
• Dynamic Order Block Mitigation
Unlike standard scripts that draw static rectangles, this indicator dynamically tracks the internal volume of Order Blocks. As price action intersects these zones, the script proportionally deducts volume to reflect the concept of "mitigation," alerting traders when an Order Block is heavily tested or depleted.
• Context-Aware Gap Categorization
Gaps are not just highlighted; they are algorithmically categorized into Breakaway, Runaway, or Exhaustion gaps. This is achieved by measuring the gap against recent market structure, prevailing volume averages, and the boundaries of a self-adjusting regression channel.
🔬 Methodology and Concepts
● Advanced Market Structure (CHoCH)
The script continuously scans for Pivot Highs and Pivot Lows over a user-defined swing length. When price decisively closes beyond these established pivot levels, a Change of Character (CHoCH) is confirmed. This signals a potential shift in institutional order flow.
● Order Block Detection and Volume Profiling
Following a structural break, the algorithm scans backward to locate the origin of the move—the last opposing candle before the break. It records the high and low of this candle as the Order Block. Furthermore, it calculates the initial volume associated with this zone. As subsequent price bars re-enter the Order Block, the script uses a fractional overlap formula to reduce the "active volume" of the block, representing the absorption of resting liquidity.
● Smart Regression Channel
To determine when a trend is overextended, the script mathematically fits a linear regression line to recent pivot points. It then calculates the standard deviation of price residuals to plot upper and lower bands. This provides a statistical container for price action, crucial for identifying Exhaustion gaps.

📖 How to Use
● Step 1: Establish Directional Bias
Observe the chart for a confirmed CHoCH signal. A green CHoCH indicates a potential bullish reversal, while a red CHoCH suggests a bearish shift. Confirm this bias by observing the slope of the Smart Regression Channel.
● Step 2: Identify Entry Zones
Once a CHoCH is plotted, look for the corresponding Order Block box drawn at the origin of the impulse. Wait for price to retrace into this green or red box. Monitor the internal text; if it displays "High Prob Break," the zone may have lost its institutional backing.
● Step 3: Gap Confirmation
Analyze any gaps formed during the impulse. Breakaway gaps (purple) add high conviction to the CHoCH breakout. Conversely, if an Exhaustion gap (red) appears near the outer bands of the regression channel, prepare for a potential reversal or pullback.
● Step 4: Manage Risk
Utilize the automated risk management lines. Place your protective stop order slightly beyond the fuchsia SL line. Scale out of your position as price interacts with the dashed TP1, TP2, and TP3 lines.

🔍 Deconstruction of the Underlying Scientific and Academic Framework
● Linear Regression and the Method of Least Squares
The Smart Regression component heavily relies on the statistical method of Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). To find the line of best fit through the closing prices of a specific trend period, the script computes the slope and y-intercept. The slope is derived from the covariance of the time variable and price, divided by the variance of time. This mathematical foundation effectively neutralizes extreme short-term variance to expose the true vector of the market.
● Variance and Standard Deviation Dispersion
To identify overextended conditions (crucial for categorizing Exhaustion Gaps), the script calculates the root mean square error (standard deviation) of the price points relative to the regression line. By mapping these deviations, the script utilizes the Empirical Rule of normal distributions. When price action strays beyond the defined multiplier (e.g., 2 standard deviations), the probability of mean reversion increases significantly, providing mathematical weight to the gap exhaustion logic.
● Proportional Volume Mitigation
The script introduces a sophisticated geometric approach to volume analysis. Instead of assuming all volume in an Order Block is consumed upon contact, it calculates a fractional overlap ratio. By dividing the intersection of the current candle's range with the Order Block's dimensions, it creates a mitigation coefficient. This reflects order-flow principles found in market microstructure theories, postulating that resting liquidity is absorbed dynamically based on the depth of penetration.
🔓 vs 🔒 Hybrid Smart Money Concepts (Pro vs. Free)
technical breakdown of the architectural and logical differences between the free and Pro versions of the Hybrid Smart Money Concepts indicator.
● 1. Advanced Risk Management & Automated Targets
The free version identifies structural shifts, but the Pro version acts as a complete quantitative trading engine.
• Dynamic Take Profit & Stop Loss
The Pro script calculates and visually plots specific, risk-based TP1, TP2, and TP3 levels, alongside Stop Loss invalidation lines for both CHoCH events and Order Blocks.
• Fibonacci Extensions
Includes optional automated Fibonacci targets (1.618, 2.618, 3.618) to project extended trend runs.
• Trade State Tracking
The Pro script uses a custom ActiveTrade method to continuously track target hits in real-time, validating the setup's success rate dynamically.
● 2. Smart Regression Channels
The free version relies on a standard Z-score statistical lookback (Stress Model) to estimate market exhaustion. The Pro version replaces this with a highly sophisticated algorithmic tool.
• Algorithmic Boundaries
Calculates dynamic linear regression channels directly tied to recent market structure pivots (Higher Highs/Lower Lows).
• Precision Exhaustion Detection
Gap Exhaustion in the Pro version is explicitly validated by price interacting with these regression standard deviation bands, offering significantly higher institutional accuracy than simple moving average divergences.
● 3. Institutional Order Block Filtering
The Pro script advances Order Block (OB) mechanics from simple structural boxes to volume-weighted liquidity zones.
• Volatility Filtering (ATR)
Order Blocks are only validated if the structural break candle meets an Average True Range (ATR) expansion threshold, efficiently filtering out low-momentum, low-probability setups.
• Volume Mitigation Tracking
Calculates initial volume within the OB and tracks ongoing "mitigation" (how much volume is absorbed by subsequent price action). The indicator's UI updates dynamically to warn of a "Possible Break" or "High Prob Break" based on volume decay.
● 4. Window Gaps and FVG Convergence
• Rising/Falling Windows
The Pro version detects specific continuation gap windows, integrating dedicated volume spike and trend-alignment filters to confirm valid continuation patterns.
• Confluence Merging
If a window gap intersects with a standard Fair Value Gap (FVG), the algorithm automatically merges the logic, aggregating the text and zone to highlight a high-confluence liquidity void.
● Summary
A user would upgrade to the Pro version to transition from manual analysis to systematic execution. The free version offers excellent visual context by identifying structure and basic gaps. However, the Pro version delivers a complete trading framework: filtering bad setups via ATR and Regression Channels, calculating precise entry/exit mathematics for risk management, and providing the deep algorithmic optimization required for seamless, zero-lag alert automation.

● Update: Core Technical Enhancements• 100% Non-Repainting Pivot Logic
Replaced the native ta.pivothigh and ta.pivotlow functions with custom, pure historical-lookback algorithms. This effectively neutralizes TradingView's static analyzer warnings and guarantees absolute pivot immutability.
• Strict Signal Confirmation
Bound all market structure shifts (CHoCH) and price crossover events strictly to closed and confirmed bar states. This architectural shift prevents intra-bar signal flickering and guarantees execution stability in live market conditions.
• Persistent Historical State Management
Engineered a dedicated state-reset method to manage active trade visuals independently. This preserves all historical CHoCH labels and structural lines, preventing retroactive deletion and ensuring a highly accurate historical backtest visualization.
• Enhanced JSON Payload Engine
Injected dynamic timeframe resolution into the automated webhook string builder. This enriches the third-party execution payloads, allowing for advanced multi-timeframe parsing and automated trade filtering.
• Optimized Regression Channel
Deprecated the volatile barstate.islast constraint from the regression rendering loop. This ensures continuous, non-repainting dynamic channel updates that fully comply with strict Pine Script v6 execution standards.

Optimizing indicator performance and execution speedリリースノート
Reduce chart clutter while providing deeper quantitative insights that reflect the internal mathematical models. Below is the technical breakdown of the newly added symbols and text labels:
● Market Structure & Liquidity Symbols
- • (💧) Liquidity Sweep
Indicates liquidity grab zones. The mathematical engine triggers this symbol when price executes a false breakout of previous structural levels to sweep liquidity without a confirmed close, utilizing internal momentum and volatility calculations. - • IDM (Inducement)
Marks structural price points engineered as mathematical traps, designed to induce early retail market entries prior to the true institutional liquidity drive. - • BOS (Break of Structure)
Visualization has been updated to reflect the quantitative confirmation of trend continuation, strictly gated by candle-close conditions rather than intrabar wicks.
● Volume Anomalies & Order Flow
- • (A) Volume Anomaly
Identifies algorithmic imbalances between the actual traded volume and the candle's price spread. This signals unusual liquidity intervention or potential market maker activity. - • 🔥 High Prob Break
Dynamic text rendered inside Order Blocks indicating a high probability of structural failure. This is driven by internal algorithms measuring the block's volume mitigation rate against real-time price penetration. - • ⚠️ Possible Break
An early warning label on Order Blocks signaling temporary defensive weakness, calculated via instantaneous price action analysis within the zone.
● Gap Analysis Shorthand
To optimize rendering performance and maintain intellectual property abstraction, long text strings have been replaced with programmatic shorthand:
- • BA: Breakaway Gap
- • RW / FW: Runaway Gap (also maps to Rising/Falling Windows in candlestick patterns)
- • BX / SX: Buyer Exhaustion / Seller Exhaustion Gaps
● Quantitative Dashboard Metrics
- • (▲ / ▼ / ○)
Directional vectors mapping the real-time structural bias of the engine (Bullish/Bearish/Neutral) and the current state of active trades. - • (⚡ / ⚠️ / ⚖️)
Dynamic state icons measuring instantaneous price positioning relative to the standard deviation bands of the Smart Regression Channel. - • (🟢 / 🟡 / 🔴)
A color-coded evaluation system representing normalized scoring metrics (0–10). This reflects the current market volatility strength and the volume retention rates within active Order Blocks.

Hybrid Smart Money Concepts Pro - Update SummaryComplete Trade Lifecycle Tracking
Every signal is now followed from entry through to a defined close. A trade ends on a stop hit, on the final target, or when opposing structure reverses the bias, and the tracker records which of the three ended it. Previously a signal could remain open indefinitely, leaving levels and dashboard readings describing a trade that had already resolved.
How to Use
- The Trade Status row returns to Flat once a trade has closed, instead of continuing to show Long or Short after the outcome has already occurred.
- Drawn levels remain on the chart after a close for post-trade review, and are cleared when the next structure shift arms a new setup.
Hit Marking with Return Percentage
When price trades a level, that level's label is rewritten once to mark it as hit and to display the return that level represents, measured from entry. Optional and toggleable.
How to Use
- A marked label confirms the level was genuinely reached, so the sequence of what filled can be read at a glance without replaying the chart.
- The percentage shown is the return that level represents from entry, making partial-exit planning readable directly off the chart.
- Unmarked labels are levels price never touched during the life of that trade.
Trade Outcome Reporting on the Dashboard
The stop row now doubles as an outcome row. While a trade runs it reports the active stop; once the trade closes it reports the level that ended it together with the return that level realized.
How to Use
- A check mark on this row means the trade has closed and the value shown is the closing level, not a live stop.
- The percentage beside it is the realized return for that outcome.
Expanded Automation Coverage
- Trade exit alerts now fire on stop, target and reversal closes, each carrying the exit price, the realized return and the reason for the close.
- Reversal events send the close and the new entry together in a single message, so a broker cannot receive the two legs out of order and end up holding opposing positions or closing the position it has just opened.
- A stop-ladder alert fires once at each target milestone. It is purely a notification and never moves the stop the script draws or tracks, leaving the decision to your own platform.
- Dedicated action-name fields were added for stop exits, target exits, reversal exits, and both reversal directions.
Volatility-Padded Stop Placement
Stops are now padded beyond the structural reference by a volatility-based buffer whose size is user-adjustable, reducing stop-outs caused by noise resting exactly on the structural level. Setups whose padded stop would fall on the wrong side of entry are discarded rather than drawn.
Support for Volume-Free Markets
On instruments that report no volume, including many forex pairs and index feeds, volume-dependent filters now pass through instead of silently suppressing the features they guard. Order block strength readouts, window confirmation and anomaly detection all behave sensibly on these symbols.
Chart Type Protection
The script now halts with a clear message on synthetic-price chart types such as Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Point and Figure, Line Break and Range. These chart types report fabricated prices, which would otherwise produce misleading structure readings and incorrect prices inside outgoing alerts.
Refinements
- Directional conflict guard: the script can no longer register a bullish and a bearish break on the same bar or issue two opposing alerts at once. The more recent structure level takes precedence.
- Order block detection now runs whenever order block alerts are enabled, so automation no longer depends on the boxes being visible.
- Order block risk levels are no longer erased on the bar they are created when Fibonacci targets are active.
- Order block zones no longer project days into the future after weekends and holidays.
- The regression channel now anchors to the correct starting bar on long histories.
- Higher-timeframe inducement detection is protected against selecting a timeframe below the chart's own, and consecutive pivots at identical prices are no longer merged into one.
- Volume anomaly labels and their alerts now land on the same bar.
- Merged gap and imbalance zones now span the full combined range.
- Trade levels are fully cleared between setups, so a new trade can no longer inherit the previous one's prices.
- Structure pivots are validated symmetrically and suppressed until sufficient history exists, removing false detections at the start of a chart.
- Order blocks are no longer suppressed early in a chart before the volatility baseline is available.
- Mitigation notes shown on order block zones now use plain descriptive wording.
- Substantially faster loading and lower resource use, with heavy calculations and dashboard rendering performed only when actually required. This reduces timeouts on long histories and slower machines.
- Input ranges and on-chart drawing budgets are now capped to safe values.

Hybrid Smart Money Concepts Pro — Update SummaryMajor Improvements
- Stop Loss Confirmed on Close — The CHoCH trade stop and the order block stop now trigger only when a bar closes beyond the stop level, not on a passing wick. The recorded exit and its return use that bar's closing price, so a brief spike no longer ends a trade early.
- Faster Target Alerts — The TP1, TP2 and TP3 ladder alerts and the target exit alert now fire the moment the level is touched instead of waiting for the bar to close. On the entry bar they still wait for the close and follow the entry alert.
- Order Block Targets Now Tracked — Order block setups gain an entry level, and every standard and Fibonacci target is now marked on the chart when it is reached, together with its return from entry. The stop is marked on a close beyond it, and the levels stop extending once the setup is resolved.
- Unified Webhook Format — All trade webhooks (entry, reversal, breakeven, SL step and exit) now share one compact layout that includes the trade direction. The symbol field is now named ticker, and prices are sent as quoted values, or null when unavailable. Review your broker bridge before going live.
- Alert Set Streamlined — The new-order-block setup alert and the inducement and volume anomaly alerts have been retired, together with their action-name settings. The IDM and anomaly markers remain on the chart.
- Gap Boxes Kept on Screen — Fixed a defect that removed gap boxes as soon as no order block was displayed. Gaps now stay visible until they are filled.
New Features
- Lock Signal — Freezes the current CHoCH trade and the order block targets on the chart. While locked, a new CHoCH neither replaces nor closes the frozen trade and sends no entry or reversal alert; the frozen trade keeps tracking its targets and stop until it closes. Structure, trend and the dashboard keep updating.
- Expanded Dashboard — Now shows the lock state, trade entry, all three trade targets, the latest swing high and low, the regression channel bands, the newest order block's top and bottom, the inducement trend, and the timeframe inducement pivots are read from.
- Dashboard Position — Place the dashboard in any of the four chart corners.
- Dashboard Tooltips and Warnings — Hover over a row for an explanation, and rows that need attention are highlighted.
- Dedicated Alert Conditions — Each trade event (CHoCH long and short, breakeven, SL step, stop, target and reversal exits, and reverse to long or short) can now be selected individually when creating an alert.
- Label Colour Controls — New colour settings for chart label text, anomaly label text and the order block entry level.
- Setting Tooltips — Every setting now explains what it does directly in the panel.
Refinements
- Reversal Exits Recorded — When an opposite CHoCH ends a trade without opening a new one, the dashboard now keeps the exit price and return instead of clearing them.
- Order Blocks Always Detected — Order blocks are found and feed the dashboard even when their boxes are hidden.
- Inducement Accuracy — On a higher timeframe, IDM labels now sit on the actual pivot bar. Inducement breaks and volume anomalies are confirmed on the bar that forms them, one bar sooner than before.
- Higher Timeframe Safeguard — If the selected higher timeframe is lower than the chart, it is skipped, the chart's own pivots are used, and the dashboard reports it.
- Volume Handling — Bars without volume are left out of the volume average, and the exhaustion volume filter no longer blocks signals on feeds that report no volume.
- Readable Volume Figures — Order block volume is shown in compact thousands, millions or billions, with a dash when no volume is available.
- Volatility Row — Now shows the actual volatility reading in price terms.
- Safer Trade Arming — A CHoCH trade is not armed until a volatility reading is available for its stop buffer.
- Hit Marking Always On — Traded levels are always marked with their return; the separate on/off setting has been removed.
- Visual Refresh — Entry, stop and target labels carry distinct markers, target lines fade from the first to the third target, the stop line is heavier, sweep markers are larger, and the default colour palette and progress-bar colours have been refined.
- Settings Panel Reorganised — Related settings are grouped into fewer, clearer sections.
How to Use
- Lock — OFF means signals update normally; ACTIVE, shown in the bearish colour, means the trade and order block targets on the chart are frozen.
- Trade Entry, Trade TP2, Trade TP3 — The active trade's entry and further targets; a dash when no trade is running.
- Swing High and Swing Low — The latest confirmed structure levels that a CHoCH or BOS is measured against.
- Reg Upper and Reg Lower — The current price of the regression channel's upper and lower bands.
- Newest OB Top and Newest OB Bottom — The price boundaries of the most recent order block.
- IDM Trend — Bullish, bearish or neutral direction read from the inducement pivots.
- IDM HTF — Off, the timeframe in use, or Skipped with a highlighted row when the chosen timeframe is lower than the chart.
- Reg Channel (capped) — A highlighted row with this tag means the channel's start lies beyond the history it can fit.
- Order block HIT labels — A reached target or stop shows HIT followed by the return from entry.

Hybrid Smart Money Concepts Pro — Update SummaryMajor Improvements
- Pine Screener Columns — The indicator now publishes its trade to the Pine Screener with these columns: Direction, Bars Since Signal, Entry, Stop, TP1, TP2, TP3, Targets Hit and Trade Active. Scan a whole watchlist for fresh signals and open trades without opening each chart. The columns show the trade's own levels, the same ones its alerts send. The Pine Screener is available on TradingView Premium and Ultimate plans only and calculates on the most recent 500 bars.
- Simpler Trade Alerts — The alert set is rebuilt around four clear actions: Close Long, Close Short, Partial Close Long and Partial Close Short. A partial close is sent when TP1 is touched and again at TP2; a close is sent when the trade ends at the stop, at TP3 or on an opposite CHoCH, and the payload names which. The separate alert on/off switches are gone, so every trade event is always available to your alerts.
- More Realistic Trade Entry — A CHoCH trade now enters at the price the signal bar actually closed at, so the entry, stop and targets match a fill you could really have taken.
- Standard Chart Notice — On Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Point and Figure, Range or Line Break charts the indicator now shows a clear on-chart notice asking you to switch to candles, instead of stopping with an error.
New Features
- Filter Status Rows — The dashboard now reports the latest result of each filter you enable: Exhaust Vol Filter, Exhaust Mat Filter, Window Vol Filter, Window Trend Filter and Volatility Filter. Each row appears only while its filter is on.
- Exit Reason Row — A new dashboard row tells you why the last trade closed: Stop, Target or Reversal.
- Target Hit Marks on the Dashboard — The TP1, TP2 and TP3 rows now mark each target that was reached, and stay visible after the trade closes so you can review the result.
- Show Dashboard Switch — The dashboard can now be hidden. While hidden, any active warning still appears in its corner so nothing important is missed.
- Order Block Memory Warning — The Active OBs row now shows when the number of kept order blocks has reached your memory limit and older ones are being removed.
Refinements
- No Repeated Break Signals — A swing level that has already been broken no longer produces a second break signal.
- Safer Trade Levels — A setup whose stop or targets would fall at or below zero, or whose risk is too small to trade, no longer arms a trade. Order blocks too thin to measure no longer draw targets.
- Stop Rule Clarified — A stop is now taken only when a bar closes beyond it, not when it closes exactly on it, for both the CHoCH trade and the order block targets.
- Order Block Target Labels — Entry, stop and target labels are now always shown separately, and a target that would fall below zero is not drawn.
- Cleaner Window Merging — Rising and Falling Windows now merge only with gaps of the same direction.
- Steadier Gap and Window Boxes — Gap and window boxes now extend by time, so their length stays consistent across weekends and session breaks.
- Gap Classification — Exhaustion gaps are now always labelled as buyer or seller exhaustion, and the volume reading behind gap classification is more consistent.
- Liquidity Sweep Markers — LS markers now sit exactly on the sweep bar, and the oldest are removed automatically to keep the chart clean.
- Inducement Points — Inducement points are now confirmed only at the bar close, and points from the chart's own timeframe are placed more accurately. The higher timeframe is ignored when it equals the chart timeframe.
- Features Fully Off When Disabled — Turning off inducement, anomaly or liquidity sweep detection now stops that work completely, and the IDM HTF and IDM Trend rows are removed when inducement is off.
- Entry Alerts Carry the Final Target — Entry and reversal alerts now send TP3 as the target.
- Reliable Webhook Messages — Alert messages now stay valid when a ticker or action contains special characters.
- Dashboard Readability — Dashboard text is cleaner and uses the standard font, warning colors now cover more cases, and Pass and Fail use the strong and weak progress colors.
- Small Display Fixes — Small percentages now show a leading zero, tick timeframes display correctly, and level labels are fully opaque.
- Settings Panel Reorganized — Inducement higher timeframe settings now sit with the other inducement settings, Show Order Blocks sits with the visual settings, and several tooltips explain their behaviour in more detail.
Performance
- Order block box text is now updated only on the latest bar, and disabled features no longer run their calculations or higher timeframe requests, for a lighter and faster script.
How to Use
- Filter rows — Pass means the filter allowed the latest setup, Fail means it blocked it, and Skipped means the bar had no volume so the filter let it through. A highlighted row is a warning.
- Exit Reason — Stop means a bar closed beyond the stop, Target means TP3 was reached, Reversal means an opposite CHoCH closed the trade. It clears when a new trade opens.
- HIT mark on TP rows — Shows which targets the current or last trade reached.
- Capped mark on Active OBs — The order block memory is full and the oldest block is removed each time a new one forms.
