Yesterday, after Donald Trump announced that the ceasefire between Iran, the U.S., and Israel would be extended, Bitcoin(
BTCUSDT) started rising and financial markets saw some strengthening. Bitcoin, however, seems to have performed the best during these hours.
Currently, Bitcoin is moving near the resistance zone($79,430-$78,750), Cumulative Short Liquidation Leverage($79,670-$78,630), and resistance lines, with strong upward momentum over the past few hours.
On the 15-minute timeframe, from an Elliott Wave perspective, Bitcoin seems to have completed its main wave 3, which was extended. We should expect a correction (wave four) and potentially another attack by Bitcoin toward the $78,000 level.
I expect Bitcoin, after a temporary correction near Fibonacci levels and the Cumulative Long Liquidation Leverage($77,340-$76,740), to resume its upward move. If the momentum is strong, we could even see it break the resistance zone. However, a key trading level Bitcoin must touch is $81,000. If it hits that level, we can consider bullish scenarios for even higher targets.
Note: It might be better to look for a short position first and then enter a long position if we see the right trigger. Be sure to observe capital management and follow the updates.
