Wednesday brings the Fed Interest Rate decision, so my plan is to trade the pre-market and observe the market behavior around the event without holding any open positions.
Keep in mind that these events can produce high-impact moves, meaning most analysis can be violated without being invalidated. This is a temporary institutional withdrawal, which makes most levels irrelevant for a short period of time.
For my Trade Idea, I’ll be looking for a setup similar to the previous session.
I’ll be using the Local Pullback Zone as my entry location, the Internal Low as my risk reference, and the Algorithmic Reaction Zone as my primary target.
If price pushes above the Pullback Trigger, this would make the trade a swing position towards the Pullback Target.

Entered on the first touch of my trade location, 7447.50. Took my first partial at 7484.50, at the session VWAP +1 deviation, and trailed the remainder to 7465 — the previous session's settlement price.Reason was simple: the Fed rate decision is scheduled today, and locking in gains instead of hoping is always the better option. In this case, it saved unrealized gains from giving back.
Price has now reached the sub low demand — that's my next watch for potential trades. Awaiting the event to see what price does from there.
