In recent developments, bearish bets on several emerging Asian currencies have increased as traders readjust their expectations for an early interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve. The odds of the Fed lowering interest rates in March have dropped significantly to 41.5%, down sharply from more than 75% just a month earlier, according to NASDAQ:CME's FedWatch Tool. This change in sentiment comes ahead of the expected initial estimate for fourth-quarter U.S. GDP, which is expected to show a 2% annual growth rate.
