The massive loss of trust in governments, which use draconian punishments to prevent people from expressing their opinions, shut down doctors' websites, indict lawyers, put opponents in psychiatric care and denounce neighbours for driving in the "wrong" county, how will this deprivation of freedom ever lead to a normal life again?
