I think we've entered an accumulation period for KCS.
Previously it retreated almost 68% from $6.9 to $4.7 before trading between $3.9 and $5.4 mark for an extended period of time. It lasted more than 30 days from the peak before the next big run up.
I think this accumulation phase will be similar, we've already retreated 45% from a high of $20 to a low of $9.03 and can probably expect to trade within the $14.9 to $10.8 marks while weaker hands give up their coins to wiser hands. Always potential to break in either direction if news or rumors encourage it.
I think it's encouraging that sell volume hasn't exceeded buy volume during this run, which leads me to believe that the accumulation period may be shorter this time.
