USDJPY: Bullish Trend Remains Dominant

257
USDJPY maintains its upward trend on the H4 timeframe, consistently forming higher lows and hugging the uptrend line established in mid-June. Despite brief pullbacks after touching the 162.50 level, selling pressure has quickly dissipated, with buyers repeatedly stepping in at dynamic support levels.

Fundamentally, the USD remains supported by elevated US bond yields and expectations that the Federal Reserve will not loosen monetary policy anytime soon. Meanwhile, the Yen remains under pressure as the Bank of Japan (BOJ) maintains a cautious stance regarding policy normalization. The yield differential between the US and Japan remains a key factor sustaining the USDJPY uptrend.

On the H4 chart, the 161.75 level acts as critical support, coinciding with both the uptrend line and the Ichimoku Cloud. As long as this area holds, the bullish structure remains intact. Should the price show signs of a rebound from this support zone, USDJPY is likely to extend its gains toward the 162.80 resistance level, where significant supply from recent highs is concentrated.
