Nambou OB Radar: Order Blocks with Live Mitigation Tracking

1 248
Ever watched price rip away from a level, come back days later, tap it to the tick and launch again? That level was probably an order block: the last candle before a strong move, where a lot of orders were filled. Finding them by hand is slow, and knowing which ones are still fresh is even harder. So I built a radar for it 📡

🎯 What it does
Order Block Radar finds a new block every time price closes beyond a swing high or low. The block is the candle where the move started: the lowest candle before a bullish break, the highest candle before a bearish one. Then it follows each block bar by bar: how deep price has traded into it, whether it held, and when it finally broke. On top of the blocks from your own chart, it also tracks the blocks from the next timeframe up.

👀 What you see on the chart
🟢 Green levels are bullish blocks (demand below price). 🔴 Red levels are bearish blocks (supply above price).
Each block is drawn as two lines: a solid line at the edge price meets first, and a dotted line at the far edge. No boxes covering your candles.
Each level runs past the last candle with its own tag, for example "Bullish OB + FVG untouched" or "Bullish OB 98% mitigated".
🏷️ The nearest levels (up to 4 on each side) also show their price on the price scale, just like your own horizontal lines.
⭐ "+ FVG" marks a block whose move left a fair value gap in its first candles: the move was strong enough to skip price. Its line is thicker.
▲ and ▼ mark the first time a block held: price traded into it and the bar closed back out on the side it came from.
Prefer zones? Switch "Draw each block as" to Zones and every block becomes a filled box whose bright part shrinks as price trades into it, with a dashed line at its middle.

⏫ Higher-timeframe blocks
The radar also follows blocks from the next timeframe up: 1H blocks on charts below an hour, 4H on 1H, Daily on 4H, Weekly on Daily. They get their own tag ("Bearish 4H OB") and behave exactly like the others. A higher-timeframe block appears only once its candle has closed, so it never shows up and then disappears. You can pick the timeframe yourself or switch them off.

📋 The table
The live blocks nearest to price, from the highest to the lowest, with the current price slotted in between. For each one: the zone, a coloured badge with its type, a mitigation meter (▰▰▰▰▱▱▱▱▱▱ 39%), how many times it has held, and its distance from price. A line on top counts the bullish and bearish blocks still live.
By default the table sits at the top or the bottom of the chart, wherever the candles leave more room.

🔔 Alerts
Create an alert on the indicator with "Any alert() function call" and you get a message when price first trades into a block, the first time a block holds, and when a bar closes beyond one. An alert for every new block is there too, off by default.

⚙️ Settings worth knowing
"Swing size" is how many bars on each side make a swing (5 by default). Bigger numbers give fewer, stronger blocks.
"A block covers the" full candle (default) or only its body.
A new block replaces any older block on the same side that it overlaps, so stacked zones don't pile up.
"Keep a block after it is fully mitigated": off by default, so a block disappears once price reaches its far edge.
"Draw blocks within this many ATR of the price": blocks further away stay in the table but are not drawn, so they don't squash your chart.

⚠️ Worth knowing
Blocks are confirmed when a bar closes beyond the swing, and everything is judged on closed bars, alerts included, so nothing repaints. A swing itself is only known after the "Swing size" number of bars.
"Held" describes what price did at a block, not what it will do next. Plenty of blocks that held once break on the next visit.

This is a charting tool, not financial advice.
