MonoIntel Opening Gaps: New Day and New Week Gaps

330
This indicator draws the gap between the daily close and the evening reopen on futures, for each new day and each new week.

How it works. Times are fixed to New York time. The reference price is the last traded price before the daily halt: 17:00 on a normal day, earlier on early-close days. A New Day Opening Gap (NDOG) is the zone between that price and the 18:00 open of the next session. A New Week Opening Gap (NWOG) is the zone between Friday's last price and the Sunday 18:00 open. Each gap is a shaded box from the last bar before the halt to the current bar, with an optional midpoint line and a label.

What is different. The script tracks whether each gap has been filled. A gap counts as filled only when price trades back to the level it started from, not when it first enters the zone. Filled gaps are removed by default, so only open gaps remain. If you keep them, they fade so open and filled gaps look different. A minimum size filter, in ticks, hides small gaps.

Inputs. For each gap type: show or hide, minimum size in ticks, midpoint, how many gaps to keep, keep filled gaps, fill colour. Border and label colours.

Use. For futures that reopen at 18:00, on charts from 1 minute to 4 hours. Nothing is drawn above 4 hours. The zones are reference areas only.
