iFVG Core: Smart Money Concepts [AxeAlgo]

4 001
Precision Fair Value Gaps (FVG), Inversion Role-Flips (iFVG), Balanced Price Ranges (BPR), and Macro Higher-Timeframe (HTF) Reference. 100% Non-Repainting, Clean Market Structure Visualization.

Overview: Clean Market Structure Visualization

Most Fair Value Gap (FVG) and Smart Money Concept (SMC) scripts clutter charts with dozens of overlapping colored rectangles, endless dashed lines, and repetitive reaction arrows that obscure price action during sustained trends.

iFVG Core by AxeAlgo is engineered to provide systematic, clean market structure analysis:

1. Clean Canvas and Selective Projection: Selective forward projection ensures that only the nearest active supply and demand levels project forward to the live price scale with right-margin price tags. Older unmitigated levels freeze locally without cluttering your chart, while mitigated zones seamlessly dissolve into subtle frosted glass.

2. Minimalist Floating Diamonds: Eliminates oversized text boxes that obscure candle wicks. Reaction markers display as floating obsidian diamonds, with detailed structural SMC data, zone boundaries, and 50% equilibrium metrics tucked into on-hover tooltips.

3. High-Momentum Spacing and Anti-Clustering: Standard scripts frequently plot repetitive markers when price moves rapidly through adjacent zones. The Directional Momentum Lockout (15 bars default) and Zone Reaction Cap (1 reaction per corridor default) prevent duplicate marker clumping, keeping reaction points distinct.

4. Balanced Price Ranges (BPR): Automatically detects and highlights intersecting BISI and SIBI zones in radiant violet, mapping areas where two-sided price delivery has occurred.

5. Non-Repainting Macro HTF Reference: Projects the nearest Higher-Timeframe (1H, 4H, Daily) FVG anchor corridor directly onto your execution chart using completed, closed historical bar lookups.

Core SMC Algorithmic Mechanics

1. Imbalance Detection (BISI and SIBI)
- Buyside Imbalance Sellside Inefficiency (BISI): Formed during buying displacement where candle [1] low exceeds candle [3] high. Renders as a demand corridor in emerald green.
- Sellside Imbalance Buyside Inefficiency (SIBI): Formed during selling displacement where candle [1] high is below candle [3] low. Renders as a supply corridor in rose.
- Body and Volume Filtering: Evaluates candle body dominance (requiring body-to-range ratio >= 45%) and minimum ATR sizing to filter out micro-range fluctuations.

2. Inversion Role-Flips (iFVG)
When an active demand corridor is breached by a candle close, market structure shifts. Rather than being discarded, the breached corridor automatically converts into Inverted Resistance in royal gold. Conversely, breached supply corridors invert into Inverted Support.

3. Balanced Price Ranges (BPR)
A Balanced Price Range occurs when displacement in one direction is followed by counter-displacement, leaving an overlapping price corridor between an active BISI and SIBI. The intersecting corridor represents two-sided price discovery. iFVG Core highlights these equilibrium areas in radiant violet with dedicated right-margin tags and alerts.

4. Macro Higher-Timeframe (HTF) Reference
Analyzing lower-timeframe charts (1m, 3m, 5m, 15m) alongside higher-timeframe structure provides essential contextual awareness. The HTF Reference module fetches completed higher-timeframe bars (1H, 4H, Daily) and projects the nearest active macro demand or supply corridor with a dashed amber border and pinned right-margin tag.
- Non-Repainting Architecture: Data is fetched strictly from closed historical bars. Past bars remain static and never recalculate or repaint.

5. 50% Consequent Encroachment (C.E.)
Within an imbalance gap, the 50% midpoint is recognized as the Consequent Encroachment (C.E.) equilibrium line. iFVG Core draws a dotted rail through the corridor midpoint. When price wicks into the 50% level, the rail turns bright yellow to indicate the equilibrium test.

Reaction Markers and Pacing Architecture

iFVG Core plots objective SMC Retest Confirmations:

- Bullish Reaction (diamond below candle): Confirms when price enters an active BISI or inverted support corridor, forms a lower rejection wick (>= 20% of candle range), closes on the defended side of the 50% C.E. line, and aligns above the 50 EMA baseline.
- Bearish Reaction (diamond above candle): Confirms when price enters an active SIBI or inverted resistance corridor, forms an upper rejection wick, closes on the defended side of the 50% C.E. line, and aligns below the 50 EMA baseline.

Pacing and Deduplication Controls:

During strong trends, price can encounter multiple small imbalance gaps within a short window:
1. Max Reactions Per Corridor (1 default): Each corridor confirms at most one reaction badge to prevent repeated triggers at the same level.
2. Directional Momentum Lockout (15 bars default): Once a reaction badge appears, subsequent same-direction reactions are locked out for 15 bars, preventing duplicate badges during momentum expansions.

Hovering over any diamond displays the full structural breakdown:

Educational Market Structure Walkthroughs

Walkthrough 1: Consequent Encroachment (C.E.) Retest
1. Identify displacement creating an unfilled BISI (emerald green corridor).
2. Monitor price retracing into the corridor toward the 50% Consequent Encroachment rail.
3. Observe whether candle wicking occurs on the defended side of the C.E.
4. When confirmation criteria are met, a diamond marker appears below the candle.

Walkthrough 2: Inversion Role-Flip (iFVG)
1. A bearish SIBI supply zone is identified.
2. Subsequent price movement closes cleanly through and above the corridor.
3. The corridor converts to royal gold Inverted Support.
4. When price returns to retest the flipped level from above, observe whether the former resistance holds as new support.

Walkthrough 3: Balanced Price Range (BPR) Interaction
1. Identify violet corridors tagged with BPR.
2. Because both buy-side and sell-side imbalances overlap within this range, price often moves cleanly through until retesting the corridor edges or midpoint.
3. Observe reactions as price approaches the shared BPR boundaries.

Walkthrough 4: Macro HTF Reference and Lower-Timeframe Alignment
1. Enable Show Macro HTF Anchor Corridor with 60 (1H) or 240 (4H).
2. On the lower-timeframe execution chart (such as 5m or 15m), note the position of the macro HTF corridor relative to current price.
3. Observe whether lower-timeframe retests align with the directional bias of the macro corridor.
