Liquidity Radar Engine Pools Sweeps and Next Draw

7 823
This script answers one question continuously: which pool of resting liquidity was taken most recently, was it reclaimed, and where is price likely being delivered next. It is a context and narration tool, not a signal generator. It never tells you to enter.

**The three pool states — the core idea**

Most liquidity tools mark a level and then delete it the moment price touches it. That throws away the information that matters. Here a pool moves through three distinct states, drawn differently at each:

- **LIVE** — resting, untouched, still a magnet.
- **SWEPT** — taken, but price has not closed back through the origin. The sweep may still fail. Nothing is confirmed yet.
- **RECLAIMED** — taken and price closed back through the origin. This is the completed sweep-and-reclaim, and it is the only state the narration treats as a story worth acting on.

Separating SWEPT from RECLAIMED is the entire point of the script. A sweep without a reclaim is not a setup, and collapsing the two into one "hit" state hides the distinction that decides whether anything happened.

**What it draws**

Pool levels are built from prior-period highs and lows, session extremes, equal highs and lows, and swing pivots, each drawn according to its state. A liquidity glow fades with pool age so stale levels visibly recede rather than cluttering the chart indefinitely. A Next Draw ring marks the nearest unswept pool in the direction of the current higher-timeframe bias — the level price is being pulled toward. A Delivery Map shows where price has been delivered from and to. A narration bar states the current condition in plain words; when it reads that no sweep has happened yet, there is no story and nothing to do.

**The two engines that gate the narration**

Higher-timeframe bias reads structure on a higher timeframe from pivot sequence and reports bullish, bearish, or neutral/choppy. Bias decides which side of a sweep is worth watching. It is a filter, never a position, and it never extends how long anything is held.

Lower-timeframe change-of-character confirms that structure on the entry timeframe has actually shifted after a reclaim. This is the difference between a level being touched and a level being rejected.

Response presets (Fast, Balanced, Strict, Manual) set the pivot left and right bar counts independently, trading detection latency against confirmation lag. This is worth being precise about: the presets change how soon an event is detected. They do not lower what counts as an event. Strict reproduces the original timing exactly.

**Optional breadth**

Advance-decline and TICK feeds can be requested to flag exhaustion. These require the relevant index symbols on your data plan. Without them the breadth row reads unavailable and everything else continues to work normally.

**Using it with the sequence engine**

This script publishes five numbered plots as an export bridge, intended to be read as external sources by the companion script "Liquidity Sequence Suite — 4-Confirmation Engine". Wiring them lets that script consume this one's pool ledger, next-draw level and bias rather than recomputing them, so both agree on what happened and when. Wire each numbered source to the matching numbered field once. The exports are display-only and cost nothing if unused — this script is fully standalone and needs no companion.

**Limitations and shortcomings — please read**

- Pivot-based structure confirms with lag by definition. A pivot is only a pivot once the required bars to its right exist, so higher-timeframe bias and change-of-character both arrive after the turn, not at it. Faster presets shorten that lag. Nothing removes it.
- Higher-timeframe values update while the higher-timeframe bar is forming. Intrabar bias and change-of-character states are provisional and can change within the bar.
- Prior-period level requests use the standard previous-bar idiom and do not repaint. The pivot requests use no lookahead. Nothing in this script draws a level earlier on history than it could have appeared live.
- Pool detection is capped for performance. On very long histories or very low timeframes the oldest pools are dropped, so panel counts reflect what is tracked rather than everything that ever existed.
- Breadth is optional and depends on your data subscription.
- This is a context tool. It produces no entries, no stops, no targets and no performance claim. It is an indicator, not a strategy.
- Nothing here is financial advice.

**Originality**

Written clean-room from a written specification of publicly described concepts — resting liquidity above highs and below lows, sweeps, reclaims, equal highs and lows, session and prior-period levels. No third-party source was consulted or adapted. All code is original.

v0.5.4 — Bias-aware Next Draw

Fixed: the Next Draw direction was chosen purely by distance to the nearest unswept pool and ignored the script's own higher-timeframe bias. When the two pools sat almost equidistant, the draw could point against a clearly directional bias on a difference of a fraction of a point — so the narration bar could read "draw down" while the panel beside it reported bullish bias and a confirmed bullish change of character.

Direction is now resolved after the bias engine. When bias is directional and that side still has an unswept pool, the draw points with the bias unless the opposite pool is closer by a real margin, default 0.75x ATR. Distance still decides when bias is neutral or choppy, when the bias side has no unswept pool left, or when the counter pool is genuinely much nearer.

Two new inputs under Radar visuals. Setting "Next Draw respects HTF bias" off reproduces the previous behaviour exactly. No pool detection, sweep or reclaim rule was changed — this orders two answers that already existed.

Note for anyone reading the export bridge: nd_dir and nd_level are affected, so a paired sequence engine will see the corrected direction.

# MBF & RZ — Liquidity Radar (v0.5.16b)

**One line of plain English: is there a trade right now, and where am I wrong.**

## What it does
Tracks resting liquidity — swing highs/lows, equal highs/lows, session and prior-day/week highs/lows — and watches what price does to each pool: live, swept, reclaimed, broken. From that it builds a story: *sellside swept → reclaimed → structure broke up → draw is the next untouched pool above → wrong below the swept wick.* The Storyteller reads it out in one sentence and updates every bar.

## The line says one of four things
1. **WAIT** — nothing swept. No trade.
2. **WATCH** — a pool was swept; not a trade until a body closes back through it. Direction and draw already shown.
3. **LONG / SHORT toward [draw] · wrong at [stop] · R:R · bars to target** — story live, fresh entry passes the R:R gate.
4. **DONE — [why]** — sweep failed, stop closed through, structure failed by close, or window expired.

Honest in-betweens: **RUNNING** (story alive, no fresh entry here — prints the price where there would be), **STAND DOWN** (higher-TF bias against), **TOO WIDE** (stop over N×ATR — take the lower-TF trigger).

## The panel
NOW · DO · STOP (trails to the last confirmed higher low) · TARGET (live draw, pools passed) · CLOCK (bars to target at average and displacement pace vs. your hold limit — *inside window / displacement only / NOT YOUR TRADE*). Diagnostics beneath: sweep/state, breadth, pools, arm lag, HTF bias, LTF structure.

## Draw and lifecycle
The draw is live: the nearest untouched pool in the story's direction, re-evaluated every bar. Taking it doesn't end the story — the next pool becomes the draw and counts as a leg passed. The story ends only when the premise fails or a heavier pool on the draw side is swept (reversal). Lighter draw-side sweeps arm a one-bar **counter track** scalp on its own line, capped at the story's stop. Nothing left to take = *discovery*, with the trail level named.

## Timeframes
Auto HTF ladder for bias (never below the chart); auto LTF ladder for structure (never above). Response modes Turbo → Strict change detection latency only — no gate is loosened. Run 1h bias / 5m structure / 1m or 15s Turbo trigger; the stop you trade is the trigger timeframe's.

## Key inputs
Minimum sweep depth (×ATR) · Detection history (bars) · Trader's clock (min) · Max stop width (×ATR) · My entry (manages the position in R; warns if you're against the story) · Plain mode.

## Alerts
Sweep · Reclaim · Structure break · Story complete · Counter armed · Draw change.

## What it is not
Not a predictor, not a profit engine. It reads what price already did to liquidity and says so without a glossary. The entry, the resting bracket, and leaving on DONE are the trader's. Not financial advice.

2. **WATCH** — a pool was swept; not a trade until a body closes back through it inside a window that scales with the chart (3 bars on 1m, 6 on 5m, 9 on 15m). Direction and draw already shown; if price closes back through the level first, the line warns and the story ends as *sweep failed*.
3. **LONG / SHORT toward [draw] · wrong at [stop] · R:R · bars to target** — story live, fresh entry passes the R:R gate.

# MBF & RZ — Liquidity Radar (v0.6.4)

**One plain sentence: is there a trade right now, where is it going, and where am I wrong.**

## What it does
Tracks resting liquidity — swing highs and lows, equal highs/lows, session highs/lows, prior-day and prior-week highs/lows — and watches what price does to each pool: live, swept, reclaimed, rejected, broken. A sweep only counts if the wick pierces by a real depth (default 0.10 ATR); a two-cent poke is not a sweep.

From those events it builds one story at a time: *sellside swept, reclaimed, structure broke up, target is the next untouched pool above, wrong below the swept wick.* The Storyteller says it in words and updates every bar.

## The five states
- **WAIT** — no story. The line names the trend and the likely path anyway, so a quiet chart still tells you where price is leaning.
- **WATCH** — a pool was swept. Not a trade until a body closes back through it inside a window that scales with the chart (3 bars on 1m, 6 on 5m, 9 on 15m). Direction, target and wrong-at are already shown.
- **LONG / SHORT** — fresh entry: reward at least 1.5 to 1 against the effective stop, stop no wider than 3 ATR, structure broken on the lower timeframe. Says how many bars to target and whether that is past your clock.
- **RUNNING** — story alive, no fresh entry here; prints the price at which there would be one.
- **DONE** — why it ended: stop closed through, structure failed at the confirmed higher low or lower high, sweep failed (closed back through the level before arming), window expired, or new session.

Higher-timeframe bias blocks a story before it arms and becomes a note ("half size") after. A story against the Trend row says "against the trend."

## The panel (one small table)
Story · Target (level, pool type, pools passed) · Stop (swept wick, then the last confirmed higher low or lower high, marked trailed, with width in ATR) · Do (one instruction) · Pools · **Trend** (majority of three votes: chart structure, HTF bias, direction pools are breaking — reasoning on hover) · **Likely** (the next two untouched pools in the story's or trend's direction). Full mode adds bias, structure break, breadth and mode rows. The title tells you the chart's role: TRIGGER (≤1m), STRUCTURE (≤5m), BIAS (above).

Chart: pool lines coloured by side, small plain-text tags (swept / reclaim / reject), a **NEAREST DRAW** marker that follows the Trend, and a **STRONGEST** ladder of the heaviest untouched pools. Two different questions, labelled as such.

## Story journal
The last three completed stories stack above the live line — time, side, pools passed, whether an entry was offered, and why it ended. Your paper-trade log, written by the engine.

## My entry
Type your fill. The Do row shows the position in R, calls the move to breakeven at +1R, and reads **AGAINST THE STORY, EXIT** in red if your side is the wrong one.

## Automatic by chart
Response mode (Turbo on ≤30s, Fast on 1m, Balanced above), reclaim window, HTF bias ladder (steps up only), lower-TF structure ladder (steps down only), chart role. Nothing to set per chart.

## Alerts
Liquidity swept · Sweep reclaimed · Side offered (fresh LONG/SHORT only) · Radar state changed · Story complete.

## Exports
Bridge plots for MBF & RZ ULTRA: story state (0 when done), swept level, stop, target, structure break.

## What it is not
It does not predict. It reads what price already did to resting liquidity and says so in words. The entry, the resting bracket, and leaving on DONE are the trader's. Not financial advice.

# MBF & RZ Liquidity Radar — Publish Update
**v0.6.6 → v0.6.7 · 2026-09-10 · display fix, no detection changes**

Paste the section below into TradingView's "What's new in this version" box when publishing the update.

---

## What's new in this version

**Fixed: Storyteller could overlap other panels.**
The live story line and journal rows had no length limit and could grow wide
enough to cover the LIQUIDITY panel or the STATUS table on some symbols and
timeframes. Two new settings under **Radar visuals**:

- **Compact storyteller (short line)** — default ON. Shows state, target,
stop, and only the one live-position warning that always needs to be seen
(exit-against-the-story / move-to-breakeven). Turn OFF for the full
narrative sentence.
- **Storyteller max characters** — default 80. Hard cap applied either way,
so the line can never grow past this width again.

Nothing about detection, pool states, sweeps, reclaims, or the Trend/Likely
read changed. This is a display-only fix.

---

## Internal note (not for the publish box)

Compact mode is on by default for new installs. Anyone with the indicator
already on a chart keeps their existing Storyteller position setting —
only the sentence length changes.
