OC Buy/Sell Signals

OC BUY/SELL SIGNALS (Open-Close Body Break)
WHAT IT DOES
This indicator looks at one thing only: where each candle opens and where it closes. It ignores wicks, highs, and lows. When a candle has an unusually large body and closes past the previous candle's body, it prints a BUY or SELL label on the chart. Big, decisive candles that push through the prior candle's range are treated as momentum.
HOW A SIGNAL IS BUILT
1) Body size: the "body" is the distance between a candle's open and close. The script averages the bodies over the last 50 bars (adjustable).
2) BUY: a green candle (close above open) that closes ABOVE the previous candle's body high, with a body at least 3x the average body.
3) SELL: a red candle (close below open) that closes BELOW the previous candle's body low, with a body at least 3x the average body.
4) Signals alternate. After a BUY, the next signal can only be a SELL, and the reverse, so you never see a string of repeated BUY or SELL labels.
NON-REPAINT
With Non-Repaint ON (the default), a signal appears only after the candle closes. Once it prints, it never moves or disappears. With it OFF, signals can appear while the candle is still forming and may vanish or flip before the close.
THE INFO BOX
A table on the chart shows the current settings and how the signals have performed recently:
- Non-Repaint: ON or OFF
- Avg Body: the average body length setting
- Min Body: the minimum body multiple setting
- Trades Counted: how many closed trades are in the lookback window (for example 20 / 20)
- Net P/L: the combined result of those trades, compounded
- Win Rate: percent of winning trades, with the win and loss counts
- Avg Win / Loss: the average winning trade and the average losing trade
- Max Drawdown: the largest peak-to-trough drop across those trades
- Open Trade P/L: the current open position's unrealized result
HOW THE P/L IS CALCULATED
The stats use a simple stop-and-reverse model. Each signal closes the current trade and opens the opposite one: a SELL closes a long and opens a short, and a BUY closes a short and opens a long. Entry and exit prices are the close of the signal candle. Commissions, slippage, and spreads are NOT included. Only the most recent N closed trades are counted (default 20), so older trades drop out as new ones close.
SETTINGS
- Non-repaint (confirm signals on bar close): ON by default. Keeps signals from changing after they print.
- Average body length (default 50): how many bars are used to measure the average candle body. Longer = steadier baseline. No signals appear until this many bars of history exist.
- Min body vs average (default 3.0x, step 0.5): how big the signal candle's body must be compared to the average. Higher = fewer, stronger signals. Set to 0 to turn the size filter off.
- Buy color / Sell color: colors for the BUY and SELL labels.
- Show BUY/SELL labels: turns the chart labels on or off. Alerts and the info box still work with labels hidden.
- Lookback (last N closed trades, default 20): how many recent closed trades feed the info box stats.
- Show info box: turns the table on or off.
- Info box position: nine placements (top, middle, or bottom, each left, center, or right). Default is top right.
- Info box size: Tiny, Small, Normal, Large, or Huge. Default is Small.
ALERTS
Two alert conditions are included: "Buy Signal" and "Sell Signal". Create them from the alert dialog by selecting this indicator. Keep Non-Repaint ON when using alerts.
TIPS
- Works on any market and timeframe. Try different Min Body values for different instruments, since volatility varies.
- Because the size filter is strict, trades can last a long time until the opposite signal appears.
- A doji (open equal to close) can never trigger a signal.
- Raising Min Body gives fewer signals. Lowering it gives more signals, with less size confirmation.
IMPORTANT NOTES
The info box shows how past signals performed on the bars loaded on your chart. It is not a prediction of future results. Real fills would occur at or after the next bar's open, so live results can differ from the stats shown. This script is for educational and informational purposes and is not financial advice.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: ATR Stop Loss and Take Profit Update**What the Indicator Does**
The indicator gives BUY and SELL signals based on candle bodies only (open and close, no wicks). A BUY fires when a bullish candle closes above the previous candle's body and its body is much bigger than normal. A SELL is the mirror image. Signals alternate, so you never get two BUYs in a row. The info box tracks how the last N trades would have performed.
**What's New**
- **ATR stop loss and take profit:** every signal now gets a stop loss and a take profit, sized by ATR (Average True Range, a standard measure of how much the market moves per bar). Volatile markets get wider levels and quiet markets get tighter ones, with no manual adjusting.
- **Entry, SL and TP lines:** when a trade opens, three lines extend to the right.
- **Entry:** solid line.
- **SL and TP:** dashed lines, each with a price label.
- **Colors:** configurable.
- **Open trade only:** lines show only for the current open trade. When it closes, they are removed, so the chart stays clean.
- **One master toggle:** "Enable ATR SL/TP" turns the whole feature on or off. OFF gives you the original behavior: no lines, and trades only close when the opposite signal fires.
- **Take profit mode dropdown:** sits right under the toggle.
- **ATR:** the take profit is a fixed distance from entry (default 3x ATR). The trade closes when price reaches it.
- **Opposite Signal:** no fixed target. The trade rides until the opposite BUY/SELL fires, with the ATR stop loss still protecting it. Only Entry and SL lines are drawn.
**New Settings**
- **ATR length:** default 14.
- **Stop loss (x ATR):** default 1.5.
- **Take profit (x ATR):** default 3.0. Used only in ATR mode.
- **Line colors and width.**
**How a Trade Works**
- **Long:** stop loss = entry minus ATR × SL multiple. Take profit = entry plus ATR × TP multiple.
- **Short:** the reverse.
- **Locked levels:** ATR is read on the signal bar and locked in. The levels don't move while the trade is open.
- **Exits:** a trade closes at the exact SL or TP price when a bar's high or low touches it.
- **Same-bar touch:** if one bar touches both SL and TP, the stop loss is counted first (the conservative assumption).
- **After an exit:** you are flat until the next signal. If the stop or target closes a trade, the indicator does not immediately flip into the opposite direction.
- **Reversals:** when an opposite signal fires while a trade is open, the trade closes at that bar's close and the new one opens.
**Info Box Updates**
When ATR SL/TP is on, the lookback statistics include the stop and target exits, so net P/L, win rate, average win/loss and max drawdown reflect the actual rules. New rows:
- **ATR SL/TP:** shows ON or OFF.
- **ATR / SL / TP:** shows your current settings, such as `14 / 1.5x / 3.0x`. In Opposite Signal mode the last value reads "Signal".
- **Exits TP / SL / Rev:** how many counted trades ended by take profit, stop loss, or reversal (the opposite signal).
- **Open Trade P/L:** shows n/a while you are flat after an SL or TP exit.
**Alerts**
Two new alerts join Buy Signal and Sell Signal:
- **Take Profit Hit**
- **Stop Loss Hit**
**Non-Repaint Still Applies**
With "Non-repaint" on, signals and SL/TP exits are evaluated on confirmed bar closes only. Nothing appears, disappears, or flips after the fact.
**How the Stats Are Calculated**
Results are percentage moves per trade, entering at the signal bar's close and exiting at the SL, TP, or reversal price. Fees, slippage, and position sizing are not included, so treat the numbers as a quick way to compare settings, not a full strategy backtest.
**Suggested Starting Points**
- **Trend-following feel:** use Opposite Signal mode with a 1.5x–2x ATR stop and let winners run.
- **Fixed risk-to-reward:** use ATR mode, such as 1.5x SL and 3x TP for 1:2.
- **Tune it:** adjust "Min body vs average" and the lookback to see how the info box stats change on your market and timeframe.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Exit X Update**Trade Lines Now Stay After an Exit**
Before, the Entry, SL and TP lines disappeared as soon as a trade closed. Now, when price hits the stop loss or take profit, the lines stay on the chart so you can see the whole trade. They stop at the bar where the hit happened instead of running off to the right, and they are replaced when the next signal fires.
**New Exit X**
- **What it is:** a large X is drawn at the exact price where the SL or TP was hit.
- **Color:** the default is blue. You can change it with the new "Exit X color" setting in the ATR group.
- **On/off toggle:** "Show exit X" sits right above the color setting and is ON by default.
- **ON:** lines stay after the hit and the X marks the exit.
- **OFF:** the indicator behaves like before this update. The lines disappear as soon as the SL or TP is hit, and no X is drawn.
**Opposite Signal Mode**
- **No X for signal exits:** no X is drawn when a trade ends because the opposite BUY/SELL signal fired. That signal starts a new setup, so the old lines are replaced by the new trade's lines.
- **Stop loss still gets an X:** if the ATR stop loss is hit in this mode, the lines stay and the X is drawn (with "Show exit X" ON).
**One Edge Case**
If an SL or TP hit and a new signal happen on the same bar, the new signal replaces the old lines right away, so that X will not stay visible.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Settings and Info Box CleanupThis update changes names and layout only. Signals, SL/TP behavior, lines, and the exit X work exactly as before.
**Settings Renamed**
- **"Enable ATR SL/TP" is now "Enable SL/TP".** The old name implied ATR for both levels, but in Opposite signal mode the take profit isn't ATR-based. The toggle still turns the whole feature on or off.
- **Take profit mode options are now "ATR target" and "Opposite signal".**
- **ATR target:** the take profit sits a set number of ATRs from entry, and the trade closes when it's hit.
- **Opposite signal:** no fixed target. The trade rides until the opposite BUY/SELL fires, with the ATR stop loss still protecting it.
- **Tooltips now say what is ignored.** With Enable SL/TP OFF, the whole ATR group is ignored. In Opposite signal mode, the take profit multiplier is ignored.
**Info Box Cleanup**
- **One "SL / TP" row replaces two.** It shows your settings at a glance:
- `1.5x ATR / 3.0x ATR` in ATR target mode.
- `1.5x ATR / Opp. Signal` in Opposite signal mode.
- `OFF` in red when Enable SL/TP is off.
- **"Exits TP / SL / Signal" replaces "Exits TP / SL / Rev".** It counts how each trade in the lookback ended. "Signal" means the opposite BUY/SELL closed it. A dash replaces any count that can't happen: TP shows `-` in Opposite signal mode, and TP and SL both show `-` when Enable SL/TP is off.
- **The box is one row shorter.** The ATR length no longer appears there. It's still in the settings.
**Heads-up**
The dropdown option names changed, so a chart with old saved settings may reset Take profit mode to its default (ATR target) once. Re-select Opposite signal if you were using it.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Info Box ReorderThis is a layout-only update. Signals, trade logic, and every number in the box work exactly as before.
**New Info Box Order**
- **Settings rows** come first: Non-Repaint, Avg Body Length, Min Body, SL / TP.
- **Lookback P/L section** follows: Trades Counted, Exits TP / SL / Signal, Net P/L, Win Rate, Avg Win / Loss, Max Drawdown.
- **Open Trade P/L** stays last as the one live number.
**What Moved or Changed**
- **Exits TP / SL / Signal** now sits directly under Trades Counted, next to the count it explains. It used to come after Max Drawdown.
- **"Avg Body" is now "Avg Body Length"**, so the number beside it reads as a length instead of a value.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Chart Type Row**New Info Box Row: Chart Type**
The info box now shows which chart type you're on, at the top, right under the title. The row is detected automatically from the chart, so there's nothing to set.
- **Standard charts:** reads "Standard" in white. That covers Candles, Bars, Hollow Candles, Line, Area, Baseline and Columns. TradingView reports all of these the same way, so the indicator can't tell a Candle chart from a Line chart.
- **Non-standard charts:** reads the type in red. The types detected are Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Line Break, Point & Figure, and Range.
**Why It Matters**
On Heikin Ashi and the other non-standard types, the prices the indicator reads come from those synthetic bars, not the real market prices. That affects both the signals and the P/L stats, since entries and exits are calculated from those prices. The red label is a quick reminder of which kind of chart the numbers came from.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, trade logic, lines, the exit X, and every other info box row work as before. The box is one row taller.
릴리즈 노트
# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Exit Trigger Update**New Setting: Exit Trigger (Wick or Close)**
You can now choose what counts as a stop loss or take profit hit. The dropdown sits right under "Take profit mode" in the SL/TP settings.
- **Wick (default):** the SL or TP is hit the moment a bar's high or low touches the level, even if the candle closes back inside. The trade exits at that exact price. This is how a resting stop or limit order behaves, and it's how the indicator worked before this update.
- **Close:** the SL or TP is hit only when a bar closes at or beyond the level. A wick poking through doesn't count. The trade exits at that bar's close.
**What Changes in Close Mode**
- **Exit prices:** since the exit happens at the close, a trade can end past the level. A stop loss can lose more than its ATR distance, and a take profit can gain more.
- **Stats:** the info box numbers reflect those close prices, so results will differ from Wick mode on the same chart.
- **Exit X:** it is drawn at the close price, and the lines still stop at the exit bar.
- **Ignored when:** Enable SL/TP is OFF.
**New Info Box Row: Exit Trigger**
- **Where:** directly under "SL / TP".
- **Shows:** Wick or Close.
- **When SL/TP is off:** it shows a dash.
- **Why:** the stats change with this setting, so a screenshot of the box now shows how the numbers were produced.
- **Box size:** one row taller.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, lines, the exit X, and alerts work as before. With the default Wick setting, results are identical to the previous version.
릴리즈 노트
# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Avg Time per Signal**New Info Box Row: Avg Time per Signal**
The info box has a new last row showing the average time between signals. It tells you how often the indicator fires and how long you typically wait for a setup.
- **What it measures:** the average time between one BUY/SELL signal and the next, taken from the signals' timestamps.
- **Same window as the stats:** it uses the last N signal gaps, where N is your lookback setting (20 by default). Until two signals have fired, it reads `n/a`.
- **Unit scales automatically:** the row uses the largest unit that keeps the number at 1 or more, so it stays easy to read. It runs from sec and min through hr, days, and wks up to mo, for example `42.5 min`, `6.3 hr`, `2.9 days`.
- **Unit can change over time:** the unit follows the size of the average. As new signals come in, the same chart can move from `22.4 hr` to `1.1 days`.
- **Calendar time:** it measures elapsed clock time. On stock charts, nights, weekends, and holidays count, so the number runs a little long compared with market hours only.
- **Not affected by SL/TP:** it counts signals only, so it doesn't change with your SL, TP, or Exit Trigger settings.
**Why It's Useful**
- **Tuning the filter:** raising "Min body vs average" gives fewer signals, which shows up as a longer average wait.
- **Setting expectations:** it shows how frequent setups are on a given symbol and timeframe.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, trade logic, lines, the exit X, and the other info box rows work as before. The box is one row taller.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Volume Filter and Trade Zone Shading**1. New Setting: Min Volume vs Average (x)**
You can now require that a signal candle comes with above-average volume. The input sits right under "Min body vs average (x)" in the Signals group and works the same way.
- **How it works:** the signal candle's volume must be at least this multiple of its average volume. At 1.5, a BUY or SELL needs at least 1.5 times average volume to fire.
- **Off by default:** the default is 0, which turns the filter off. With 0, signals are identical to the previous version.
- **Applies to both sides:** BUYs and SELLs alike.
- **Shared averaging length:** it uses the same length as "Average body length" (50 by default), so there is no extra length setting to manage.
- **Why it's useful:** a large candle body shows aggressive price movement, and volume helps show how much participation was behind it. Raising the multiplier keeps only signals backed by heavier trading, which usually means fewer signals. Test it on your own symbols and timeframes to see whether it improves the results for you.
**New Info Box Row: Min Volume**
- **Where:** right under "Min Body".
- **Shows:** the multiple, such as `1.5x`, or `OFF` in red when the filter is off.
**2. New Visual: Trade Zone Shading**
The current trade now gets colored zones that show your risk and reward at a glance.
- **Red zone:** from entry to stop loss.
- **Green zone:** from entry to take profit.
- **Long and short:** the zones flip automatically for shorts.
- **Follows the lines:** the shading extends with the open trade. After an SL or TP hit it stays and stops at the exit bar when "Show exit X" is ON. The next signal replaces it.
- **Opposite signal mode:** only the red zone is drawn, since there is no fixed TP.
**New Settings (SL/TP group)**
- **Show trade zone shading:** the toggle, ON by default.
- **SL zone color:** red by default.
- **TP zone color:** green by default.
- **Opacity:** both colors use the color picker's opacity, so you can make the shading lighter or heavier.
- **Ignored when:** Enable SL/TP is OFF.
**Things to Know**
- **Symbols without volume data:** if the symbol has no volume, no signals appear while the volume filter is above 0.
- **Non-repaint:** with Non-repaint ON, the volume check uses the final volume of the closed bar. With it OFF, a forming bar's volume is incomplete, so a signal can appear and then vanish.
**What Didn't Change**
The stop loss and take profit logic, exit trigger, exit X, alerts, and the other info box rows work as before. The info box is one row taller because of the Min Volume row.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Bug Fix**Fixed: Empty Boxes Left Behind When "Show Info Box" Is Off**
Unchecking "Show info box" hid the text but left an empty dark frame on the chart, along with the thin lines where the header rows are merged. The frame was being built on the first bar no matter what the setting said.
- **Now:** the info box is created only when "Show info box" is checked. Unchecking it removes the box completely, with nothing left over on the chart.
- **Turning it back on:** checking the box again brings back the full info box as before.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, SL/TP logic, lines, shading, alerts, and the contents of the info box work exactly as before. This is a display fix only.
릴리즈 노트
# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Stop Loss Mode**New Setting: Stop Loss Mode**
The stop loss no longer has to be ATR-based. A new dropdown, "Stop loss mode", sits right under "Take profit mode" in the SL/TP settings. It has three options:
- **ATR (default):** the stop is placed at entry ± ATR × the "Stop loss (x ATR)" multiple, exactly as before. With this default, results are identical to the previous version.
- **Candle wick:** the stop goes at the extreme of the signal candle.
- **BUY:** the stop is at the signal candle's low.
- **SELL:** the stop is at the signal candle's high.
- **Candle body:** the stop goes at the signal candle's open, the far edge of its body, for both BUYs and SELLs. It is tighter than the wick option, and it fits the indicator's open/close approach.
**How It Behaves**
- **Variable risk:** in the candle modes the stop distance is the size of each signal candle, so it differs on every trade. Signal candles are large by design (your Min Body setting), so these stops can sit far from entry.
- **Reward-to-risk varies:** the take profit is unchanged. In ATR target mode it is still ATR-based, so the ratio between risk and reward changes from trade to trade. In Opposite signal mode there is no target, as before.
- **Stop loss (x ATR) ignored:** in the candle modes that setting does nothing, and its tooltip says so.
- **No same-bar exit:** the stop is first checked on the bar after entry, so the signal candle itself can't stop the trade out.
- **Exit trigger still applies:** in Wick mode, a wick touching the stop exits at the exact stop price. In Close mode, a close beyond the stop exits at that close.
**What Follows the New Stop Automatically**
- **Lines:** the SL line is drawn at the candle-based level.
- **Red zone:** the shading between entry and stop uses the new level.
- **Exit X:** it marks the exit at the new stop.
- **Stats:** Net P/L, win rate, average win/loss, max drawdown and the exit counts all use the new stop.
- **Alerts:** the Stop Loss Hit alert works as before.
**Info Box**
The SL / TP row names the mode, for example:
- `1.5x ATR / 3.0x ATR` in ATR mode.
- `Candle Wick / 3.0x ATR` in Candle wick mode.
- `Candle Body / Opp. Signal` in Candle body mode with the opposite-signal exit.
**Things to Know**
- **Non-repaint OFF:** a forming candle's low or high can still move, so the stop level can change until the bar closes. With Non-repaint ON, it is fixed on the closed bar.
- **Comparing modes:** because the stops differ so much, it's worth testing all three on the same chart and comparing Net P/L, win rate, average loss and max drawdown.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, take profit logic, exit trigger, exit X, shading, alerts, and the other info box rows work as before.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Stop Loss Mode and SL Multiple Take ProfitThis update gives you more control over where the stop and the target go. The stop can now be placed on the signal candle, and the target can be set as a multiple of the stop distance. With the defaults, results are identical to the previous version.
**1. New Setting: Stop Loss Mode**
A new dropdown with three options:
- **ATR (default):** the stop is placed at entry ± ATR × the "Stop loss (x ATR)" multiple, exactly as before.
- **Candle wick:** the stop goes at the extreme of the signal candle. A BUY puts it at the candle's low, and a SELL puts it at the candle's high.
- **Candle body:** the stop goes at the signal candle's open, the far edge of its body, for both BUYs and SELLs. It is tighter than the wick option and fits the indicator's open/close approach.
**How the candle stops behave**
- **Risk one candle:** the stop distance is the size of each signal candle, so it changes on every trade. Signal candles are large by design (your Min Body setting), so these stops can sit far from entry.
- **Stop loss (x ATR) ignored:** in the candle modes that setting does nothing, and its tooltip says so.
- **No same-bar exit:** the stop is first checked on the bar after entry, so the signal candle itself can't stop the trade out.
**2. New Take Profit Mode: SL Multiple**
"Take profit mode" now has three options:
- **ATR target (default):** the target sits ATR × the "Take profit (x ATR)" multiple from entry, as before.
- **SL multiple:** the target sits the stop distance × the new "Take profit (x SL)" multiple from entry. At 1.5, the target is 1.5 times your risk.
- **Opposite signal:** no fixed target. The trade rides until the opposite BUY/SELL fires, with the stop loss still protecting it.
**How SL multiple behaves**
- **Works with every stop mode:** ATR, Candle wick, and Candle body. With a candle stop, you risk one candle and target a multiple of it.
- **Fixed reward-to-risk:** every trade has the same ratio, even when the stop distance changes from trade to trade.
- **New input:** "Take profit (x SL)", default 1.5, minimum 0.1.
- **Ignored inputs:** "Take profit (x ATR)" does nothing in SL multiple mode, and "Take profit (x SL)" does nothing in the other two modes.
- **Wide stops mean far targets:** a large signal candle puts the target at a multiple of that distance, so some trades can take a long time to reach it.
**3. Reordered Settings**
The SL/TP group now reads in this order:
1. Enable SL/TP
2. Exit trigger
3. Stop loss mode
4. Take profit mode
5. ATR length
6. Stop loss (x ATR)
7. Take profit (x ATR)
8. Take profit (x SL)
9. Line, exit X, and shading colors and toggles
"Exit trigger" comes first because it applies to both the stop and the target. The two mode dropdowns sit side by side.
**What Updates Automatically**
- **Lines, shading, and exit X:** the SL and TP lines, the red and green zones, and the exit X all use the new levels.
- **Stats:** Net P/L, win rate, average win/loss, max drawdown and the exit counts reflect the new stop and target.
- **Alerts:** the Take Profit Hit and Stop Loss Hit alerts work as before.
**Info Box**
The SL / TP row names both modes, for example:
- `1.5x ATR / 3.0x ATR` with the defaults.
- `Candle Wick / 1.5x SL` with a candle-wick stop and an SL multiple target.
- `Candle Body / Opp. Signal` with a candle-body stop and the opposite-signal exit.
**Things to Know**
- **Exit trigger still applies:** in Wick mode, a wick touching the stop or target exits at the exact level. In Close mode, a close beyond the level exits at that close.
- **Non-repaint OFF:** a forming candle's low or high can still move, so a candle-based stop can change until the bar closes. With Non-repaint ON, it is fixed on the closed bar.
- **Comparing modes:** the stops and targets differ a lot between modes, so test them on the same chart and compare Net P/L, win rate, average loss and max drawdown.
**What Didn't Change**
Signals, the volume filter, the exit X toggle, shading toggles, alerts, and the other info box rows work as before.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Info Box ReorderThis is a layout-only update. Signals, stops, targets, and every number in the box work exactly as before.
**What Changed**
- **Exit Trigger moved:** in the info box, the "Exit Trigger" row now sits directly above the "SL / TP" row. It used to be below it.
- **Matches the settings panel:** the SL/TP settings already start with "Exit trigger" and then the stop and take profit modes, so the info box now reads in the same order.
**Settings Rows, Top to Bottom**
1. Chart Type
2. Non-Repaint
3. Avg Body Length
4. Min Body
5. Min Volume
6. Exit Trigger
7. SL / TP
**What Didn't Change**
The values in each row, the Lookback P/L section, and everything else in the box are the same.

# OC Buy/Sell Signals: Trade Line and Label TogglesYou can now switch the trade visuals on and off one at a time. Two new toggles join the exit X and shading toggles you already had.
**New Setting: Show Trade Lines**
- **What it does:** it turns the Entry, SL and TP lines on or off for the current trade.
- **Default:** ON, so the chart looks the same as before until you change it.
- **Where:** in the SL/TP settings, right above the line colors.
**New Setting: Show Trade Labels**
- **What it does:** it shows or hides the Entry, SL and TP price labels that sit on the trade lines.
- **Default:** ON.
- **Where:** in the SL/TP settings, right after the line colors.
**Mix Them Any Way You Like**
Each visual has its own toggle, and none of them depends on another:
- **Trade lines:** the Entry, SL and TP lines.
- **Trade labels:** the Entry, SL and TP prices.
- **Trade zone shading:** the red and green zones.
- **Exit X:** the marker where the SL or TP was hit.
For example, you can keep only the shading for a cleaner chart, or keep the lines and turn the labels off to reduce clutter.
**Things to Know**
- **Enable SL/TP OFF:** the master toggle still hides all of these, since no stop or target is drawn then.
- **BUY/SELL labels:** the signal labels keep their own separate toggle, "Show BUY/SELL labels".
- **Stats unaffected:** the toggles change only what is drawn. Stops, targets, exits, the info box and the alerts work as before.

**Update: Longer Time Scale and a New Default****What's new**
- **Avg Time per Signal now goes up to years.** The info box already switched units on its own (seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months). On long timeframes like the monthly chart, though, the number stayed in months and could read something like "141.0 mo". It now switches to years once the average reaches 12 months, so that reads about "11.8 yrs".
- **Take profit (x SL) now defaults to 2.0.** It was 1.5. With the "SL multiple" take profit mode, your target now sits twice as far from entry as your stop, a 1:2 risk-to-reward, until you change it.
**Good to know**
- These are small refinements. Signals, entries, exits and stats are calculated exactly as before.
- The new default applies when you first add the indicator. If you already have it on a chart, your saved setting stays, and you can change it in the settings.
- The time unit scales on its own, so nothing needs to be turned on.
릴리즈 노트
**Update: Timeframe and Session in the Info Box****What's new**
- **New "Timeframe / Session" row.** It sits right under Chart Type, so the top of the info box tells you the chart type, the timeframe and the session.
- **Timeframe** shows in short form, like 5m, 1h, 4h, D, W or M.
- **Session** shows what your chart is set to: Regular, Extended or 24h. It displays whatever TradingView reports. A reading like "1h / 24h" means a 1-hour chart on the 24-hour session.
**Why it helps**
- Signals and stats depend on which bars are on the chart. A 1h chart and a 4h chart give different results, and so do Regular and Extended hours. You can now see both settings at a glance when comparing results or sharing a screenshot.
- It works like the Chart Type row. If you forget which timeframe or session you're on, the info box tells you.
**Good to know**
- It's display-only. Signals, entries, exits and stats are calculated exactly as before.
- Nothing needs to be turned on. The row appears whenever "Show info box" is on.
- The box has one more row than before, so it's slightly taller.
릴리즈 노트
**Update: Time Since Last Signal****What's new**
- **New "Time Since Last Signal" row.** It sits at the bottom of the info box, directly under Avg Time per Signal.
- **Same units.** Both rows scale on their own (sec, min, hr, days, wks, mo, yrs), so you can compare them directly with no mental conversion.
**Why it helps**
- Avg Time per Signal tells you how long the market usually waits between signals. The new row tells you how long it has been waiting right now.
- Example: if the average is 3.0 days and it has been 5.0 days since the last signal, you're in a longer-than-usual quiet stretch. If it's 0.5 days, a signal just fired.
- It's a quick way to judge whether the indicator is running on its normal rhythm or sitting out a slow market.
**Good to know**
- Time is measured in calendar time, from the last signal's bar to the latest bar on your chart. That's the same way the average is measured, so the two always compare fairly.
- It shows "n/a" until the first signal appears.
- It's display-only. Signals, entries, exits and stats are calculated exactly as before.
- Nothing needs to be turned on. The row appears whenever "Show info box" is on.
- The box has one more row than before, so it's slightly taller.
릴리즈 노트
**Update: Stop Loss Mode "None"****What's new**
- **A fourth option in the Stop loss mode dropdown: None.** The choices are now ATR, Candle wick, Candle body and None.
- **None means no stop loss at all.** Trades are never stopped out, and no SL line or shading is drawn.
**How it works with Take profit mode**
- **None + Opposite signal:** pure stop-and-reverse. Every trade stays open until the opposite BUY or SELL signal fires. This gives you the same trade results as turning Enable SL/TP off, while keeping the Entry line on the chart.
- **None + ATR target:** a take-profit-only setup. The trade closes at the ATR target or on the opposite signal, with no stop in between.
- **None + SL multiple:** the target is based on the stop distance, and with no stop there is nothing to multiply. It behaves like Opposite signal.
**Why it helps**
- You can test the same signals with and without a stop in a single dropdown, and compare the lookback stats in the info box side by side.
- It shows you what the stop is actually costing or saving you. If None produces a better Net P/L than ATR, the stop may be getting hit too often.
**Good to know**
- With Enable SL/TP on, every trade still gets an Entry line and price label, even with no stop or target, so you always see where the current trade started. The Entry line follows the Show trade lines and Show trade labels toggles.
- The info box shows "None" in the SL / TP row, and the Exits row shows "-" in the SL slot.
- The default is still ATR, so nothing changes unless you pick None.
- Signals, entries and the other stop modes work exactly as before.
릴리즈 노트
**Update: BUY/SELL Label Size****What's new**
- **New "BUY/SELL label size" dropdown.** It sits right under the Show BUY/SELL labels toggle.
- **Five sizes:** Tiny, Small, Normal, Large and Huge.
- **Default is Small**, the same size as before, so nothing changes unless you pick another.
**Why it helps**
- **Cleaner charts.** On crowded charts, or on small screens and tight layouts, Tiny keeps the labels out of the way of the candles.
- **Easier to see.** On a zoomed-out chart, a higher timeframe or a presentation, Large or Huge makes the signals stand out at a glance.
**Good to know**
- It only changes the BUY and SELL labels. Alerts, the info box and the trade labels (Entry, SL and TP) are not affected.
- It does nothing when Show BUY/SELL labels is off.
- Label colors still come from your Buy and Sell color inputs.
- Signals, entries, exits and stats are calculated exactly as before.
- Because of how TradingView handles label sizes, the Style tab lists a few extra BUY and SELL entries. They don't need any adjusting.
릴리즈 노트
**Update: Separate Stop Loss and Take Profit Rows, with Candle Stop Size****What's new**
- **Stop Loss and Take Profit now have their own rows** in the info box, directly under Exit Trigger. They used to share one "SL / TP" row.
- **Stop Loss row** shows your stop setting:
- ATR mode: your fixed multiple, like "1.5x ATR"
- Candle wick: "CW: 1.2x ATR"
- Candle body: "CB: 0.8x ATR"
- None: "None"
- **Take Profit row** shows your target setting: "3.0x ATR", "2.0x SL" or "Opp. Signal".
- **Candle stop size in ATR.** For the candle stop modes, the number shows how far the latest trade's stop sits from entry, measured in ATR, so you can compare a candle stop against a normal ATR stop at a glance.
**Why it helps**
- **Easier to read.** One setting per row, with no long combined line.
- **Narrower box.** The long "Candle Wick / 2.0x SL" text used to set the width of the whole box. With shorter values, the box is slimmer, at the cost of one extra row of height.
- **Know your risk.** A candle stop of 0.6x ATR is tight, and a 3x ATR stop is wide. Previously you couldn't tell without checking the chart.
**Good to know**
- The candle stop size shows the most recent trade and updates with each new signal. It shows "n/a" until the first signal after a mode change.
- With Enable SL/TP off, both rows show "OFF".
- It's display-only. Signals, entries, stops, targets and stats are calculated exactly as before.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Buy/Sell Signals: Update – Alternate Signals Toggle****What's New**
A new **Alternate signals** setting in the Signals group lets you choose how signals repeat. The info box also has a new row that shows the current setting.
**New Input: Alternate Signals**
- **ON (default):** signals alternate BUY, SELL, BUY and so on. If a second breakout candle appears in the same direction as your open trade, it is skipped. This is how the indicator has always worked.
- **OFF:** every qualifying candle fires a signal.
- A bullish breakout candle always gives a BUY.
- A bearish breakout candle always gives a SELL.
- This holds even when the previous signal went the same way.
**What Happens With It OFF**
When a same-direction signal fires, the open trade closes at that candle's close and counts as a Signal exit. A new trade then opens with a fresh entry, stop loss and take profit.
**Info Box**
- **New row:** "Alternate Signals" shows ON or OFF, right under the Non-Repaint row.
- **Everything else:** all other rows are unchanged, just shifted down one.
- **Lookback tooltip:** it now explains that each signal opens a new trade, in the opposite direction when Alternate signals is ON.
**Good To Know**
- **More signals, shorter trades.** With the toggle OFF, signals that used to be skipped now restart the trade. The statistics in the info box will look different from the ON setting.
- **Nothing else changed.** The breakout rules, the body and volume filters, the stop loss and take profit options, and the alerts all work the same.
- **Results describe recent trades only.** Past results do not predict future results.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

**OC Signals: Settings Reorganized**This update changes the layout of the settings panel and info box. Signal logic, trade logic and defaults are the same as before.
**Settings Panel**
Settings are now grouped in the order you'd work through them:
- **Signals:** Average body length, Min body vs average (x), Min volume vs average (x), Alternate signals. These define what counts as a signal.
- **Stop Loss / Take Profit:** Enable SL/TP, Exit trigger, Stop loss mode, Take profit mode, ATR length, Stop loss (x ATR), Take profit (x ATR), Take profit (x SL). The group was renamed from "ATR Stop Loss / Take Profit" because it covers more than ATR.
- **Lookback P/L:** Lookback, Show info box, Info box position, Info box size.
- **Display (new):** Everything visual now lives here:
- Show BUY/SELL labels
- BUY/SELL label size
- Buy color
- Sell color
- Show trade lines
- Entry, SL and TP line colors
- Show trade labels
- Show exit X
- Exit X color
- Show trade zone shading
- SL and TP zone colors
- Line width
**Info Box**
- Avg Body Length, Min Body and Min Volume now sit directly under Non-Repaint, so the signal-defining settings read together.
- Alternate Signals follows them, then Exit Trigger, Stop Loss and Take Profit.
- The Lookback P/L section is unchanged.
**What Stays the Same**
- Signal and trade logic
- Alerts
- Default values
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Signals: New Default Settings**This update changes two default settings. Signal and trade logic are the same as before.
**What Changed**
- **Stop loss mode:** now defaults to **Candle wick** (was ATR). The stop is placed at the low of the signal candle for a BUY and the high for a SELL.
- **Take profit mode:** now defaults to **SL multiple** (was ATR target). The target is set at the stop distance times the Take profit (x SL) setting, which is 2.0 by default.
**What This Means**
- With the new defaults, every trade has a 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio measured from the signal candle's wick.
- The stop size now follows each signal candle instead of using a fixed ATR distance.
**Existing Users**
- If you already have the indicator on a chart, your saved settings stay as they are.
- To switch to the new defaults, change Stop loss mode and Take profit mode in the Stop Loss / Take Profit group, or reset the indicator to its defaults.
Both modes are still available in the dropdowns (ATR, Candle body and None for stops; ATR target and Opposite signal for targets).
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Signals: Show Closed Trades**You can now keep past trade setups on the chart instead of watching them disappear when a new signal fires.
**What's New**
- **Show closed trades** is a new input in the Lookback P/L group, right under Info box size.
- It sets how many of the most recent closed setups stay on the chart, from 0 to 50.
- The default is 0, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.
**How It Works**
- Each closed setup is frozen from its entry bar to its exit bar. It keeps its Entry, SL and TP lines, price labels and zone shading.
- When the count goes over your limit, the oldest setup is removed.
- Setups closed by SL, by TP and by a reversal signal are all kept.
- Setups closed by a reversal signal end at the bar of the new signal and have no X.
- History is kept even if Show exit X is OFF. The X itself still follows that toggle.
- Your existing line, label and shading toggles apply to the history too.
- If Enable SL/TP is OFF there are no setups to draw, so the input does nothing.
**Under the Hood**
- I raised the line, label and box limits to 500 so longer histories aren't cut short.
**What Stays the Same**
- Signal and trade logic
- Info box rows and statistics
- Alerts
- Default values
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals: Update****New: Stop Buffer (x ATR)**
- Sits under Stop loss mode in the Stop Loss / Take Profit group (default 0).
- Pushes the stop further out by this many ATR.
- Applies to the Candle wick and Candle body stop loss modes. Wick stops go to the low/high minus/plus the buffer, and body stops go to the open minus/plus the buffer.
- At 0, stops behave exactly as before.
**New: Ignore Signals While a Trade Is Open** (default ON)
- No new signal fires while a trade is still open, so setups never overlap.
- If Take profit mode is Opposite signal, or Stop loss mode is None, a signal is the only way out of a trade. In those cases only same-direction signals are ignored, so the opposite signal can still close the trade and nothing gets stuck.
- Turn it OFF for the previous behavior.
**Info Box**
- New row: Ignore Signals in Trade, showing ON or OFF.
**Good to Know**
- With the toggle ON, signal counts may be lower than before, since signals that would have fired inside an open trade are now ignored.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Signals: Entry Marker Dot**This update adds a small dot that marks the entry price on every signal. Signal logic, trade logic, the info box and alerts are unchanged.
**What's New**
- **Entry marker dot:** a small blue dot is drawn on each BUY and SELL signal candle at the entry price. In OC Signals the entry is the signal candle's close, so the dot sits on the close.
- **Show entry marker (dot):** a new toggle in the Display group, right after Sell color. It is ON by default.
- **Entry marker color:** a new color input next to the toggle. The default is blue (#2962FF).
**How It Works**
- The dot shows even when the trade lines are turned off, so you can still see where each entry was.
- It also shows when Enable SL/TP is OFF, because the entry price is still tracked.
- If you don't want it, turn off Show entry marker.
**What Stays the Same**
- Signal and trade logic
- Info box rows and statistics
- Alerts
- Other default values
Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals update: Multi-Timeframe Scanner**Checking one timeframe at a time was slow, so I built the scanner into OC Signals. It shows the signal and trade status for your chart's symbol across several timeframes in a single table.
**What you get**
- **One row per timeframe:** Signal (BUY or SELL), Status (OPEN, TP, or SL), Avg Time, Entry, SL, TP, Open P/L, Avg P/L, Net P/L, and Win Rate.
- **Fresh-signal tint:** a row turns light green or red when that timeframe just closed a bar with a new signal, so you can spot it at a glance.
- **Win Rate warning:** the Win Rate turns red when a timeframe has fewer closed trades than your lookback, so thin samples stand out.
- **Same rules everywhere:** each timeframe runs the same OC logic and trade settings as the main indicator, with its own trade history.
- **Follows your chart:** on Heikin Ashi charts, every row uses Heikin Ashi candles.
- **Non-repaint:** results come from each timeframe's last closed bar.
**Settings**
- A new "Multi-Timeframe Scanner" group sits below the info box settings.
- **Show scanner:** on or off. Off removes the scanner's data requests.
- **Timeframes:** default `5, 15, 30, 60, 4h, D, W`. Type minutes as plain numbers, or forms like `15m`, `4h`, `1D`, `1W`.
- **Max timeframes, position and size** are adjustable.
**Worth knowing**
- Higher timeframes have fewer trades, so a high win rate on a handful of trades means little. The red Win Rate flags these rows.
- Each timeframe uses one data request, with TradingView's limit at 40 on most plans and 64 on Professional plans.
- Signals, labels, trade lines, the info box and the alerts are unchanged.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Buy/Sell Signals update: Scanner Detail**The multi-timeframe scanner now has a **Scanner detail** setting, so you can choose how much of the table you see. Pick the level that fits your screen and the way you trade.
**Detail levels**
- **High:** the full table. Timeframe, Signal, Status, Avg Time, Entry, SL, TP, Open P/L, Avg P/L, Net P/L and Win Rate.
- **Medium:** drops Entry, SL and TP. Timeframe, Signal, Status, Avg Time, Open P/L, Avg P/L, Net P/L and Win Rate.
- **Low:** the quick-glance view. Timeframe, Signal, Status, Avg Time, Net P/L and Win Rate.
**Also new**
- The Win Rate header now shows your lookback, for example **Win Rate / 20**. You can see how many closed trades the rate is measured against. The cell still turns red when a timeframe has fewer closed trades than the lookback.
**Settings**
- **Scanner detail** is in the Multi-Timeframe Scanner group, below Scanner size. It defaults to **High**, so the scanner looks the same as before until you change it.
**Worth knowing**
- The detail level only changes which columns are drawn. Signals, trades, statistics and data requests are the same at every level.
- Lower levels make a narrower table, which helps when you scan many timeframes or run a small chart window.
- The fresh-signal row tint works at every level.
릴리즈 노트
**Scanner Alerts update: OC Buy/Sell Signals**The multi-timeframe scanner can now alert you. You no longer need to watch the table for a new signal on any of your timeframes.
**What's new**
- **Any alert() function call:** one alert covers every timeframe in your scanner list. The message names the ticker and the timeframe, for example `OC Scanner SPY: 15m BUY`. If several timeframes signal at the same moment, they arrive together, for example `15m BUY | 4h SELL`.
- **Scanner Buy Signal (Any Timeframe):** fires when any scanned timeframe gives a new BUY.
- **Scanner Sell Signal (Any Timeframe):** fires when any scanned timeframe gives a new SELL.
**How to set it up**
- Open the alert window and pick the indicator as the condition.
- Choose **Any alert() function call** for the timeframe in the message, or pick the Scanner Buy or Scanner Sell condition for a separate alert per direction.
- Leave the Message field's default placeholder in place for the function-call option, so the timeframe text comes through.
**Worth knowing**
- Alerts fire once per new signal, not on every chart bar.
- Signals that already exist when you load the chart or create the alert do not fire.
- Alerts fire when the signal bar closes and the scanner picks it up, the same moment the row tint appears.
- The Scanner Buy and Sell messages are fixed text and do not name the timeframe. Use the function-call option when you need to know which timeframe fired.
- The scanner alerts need **Show scanner** on, and they cover the timeframes in your list up to Max timeframes.
- They cover new signals only, not TP or SL hits on the scanner's trades.
- The existing Buy Signal, Sell Signal, Take Profit Hit and Stop Loss Hit alerts are unchanged and still cover the chart's own timeframe.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Buy/Sell Signals update: More Scanner Detail Levels**The **Scanner detail** setting now has five levels, from a bare-bones view to a full-detail one. Pick the level that fits your screen and the way you trade.
**Detail levels**
- **Micro:** the smallest view. Timeframe, Signal, Status and Win Rate.
- **Low:** Timeframe, Signal, Status, Avg Time, Net P/L and Win Rate.
- **Medium:** adds Open P/L and Avg P/L. Timeframe, Signal, Status, Avg Time, Open P/L, Avg P/L, Net P/L and Win Rate.
- **High:** adds Entry, SL and TP. This is the previous full table and stays the default.
- **Maximum:** High plus two new columns, **Last Signal** and **Max DD**.
**New columns (Maximum)**
- **Last Signal:** time since each timeframe's last signal, shown after Avg Time. It uses the same auto-scaled units, for example `3.2 hr` or `2.1 days`.
- **Max DD:** the largest peak-to-trough drop over each timeframe's lookback trades, shown after Net P/L. It is calculated the same way as the Max Drawdown in the info box, and turns red when there is a drawdown.
- The Win Rate header still shows your lookback, for example **Win Rate / 20**, and the Win Rate turns red when a timeframe has fewer closed trades than the lookback.
- The fresh-signal row tint and the scanner alerts work at every level.

**OC Update: Alert Names Now Say "OC"**The alert conditions now carry the indicator name. If you run more than one of these indicators on a chart, you can tell them apart in TradingView's alert dropdown.
**New Alert Names**
- **OC Buy Signal** (was "Buy Signal")
- **OC Sell Signal** (was "Sell Signal")
- **OC Take Profit Hit** (was "Take Profit Hit")
- **OC Stop Loss Hit** (was "Stop Loss Hit")
- **OC Scanner Buy (Any Timeframe)** (was "Scanner Buy Signal (Any Timeframe)")
- **OC Scanner Sell (Any Timeframe)** (was "Scanner Sell Signal (Any Timeframe)")
**What Stays the Same**
- The alert triggers and the message text are unchanged.
- The scanner function-call alert already starts with "OC Scanner" and is unchanged.
**Heads Up**
- Existing alerts keep working under their old names. Only the list in the "Create Alert" dialog changes, so new alerts show the new names.

**OC Update: Non-Repaint Dropdown and Alert Names****Non-Repaint Dropdown**
The single Non-repaint toggle is now a dropdown with three options. You can keep signals confirmed while letting stops and targets register the moment price touches them.
- **Entries + Exits** (default): signals and SL/TP exits wait for the bar close. This is the same as the old ON.
- **Entries Only**: signals wait for the bar close. With Exit trigger set to Wick, the SL or TP registers the moment price touches it, like a real stop or limit order.
- **Off**: everything is live. Signals can appear and vanish while the bar forms, and entries, stops and targets can move. This is the same as the old OFF.
**Good to Know**
- **Close exits:** with Exit trigger set to Close, exits still wait for the bar close in Entries Only. A live close can come and go, so it stays confirmed.
- **Same-bar SL and TP:** if both are touched on the same bar, the SL is assumed first. A TP shown early in the bar can flip to an SL before the bar closes.
- **Alerts:** TP and SL alerts fire on the touch in Entries Only, so they arrive sooner.
- **Scanner:** not affected. It always reads closed bars.
- **Info box:** the Non-Repaint row shows the selected option, in green, orange or red.
- **Best for stats:** Entries + Exits gives the most reliable info box statistics.
**Alert Names**
The alert conditions now start with "OC", so you can tell them apart when you run more than one of these indicators on a chart.
- **OC Buy Signal** and **OC Sell Signal**
- **OC Take Profit Hit** and **OC Stop Loss Hit**
- **OC Scanner Buy (Any Timeframe)** and **OC Scanner Sell (Any Timeframe)**
The triggers and message text are unchanged.
**Heads Up**
- The old Non-repaint toggle is replaced, so existing charts reset to Entries + Exits.
- Existing alerts keep working under their old names. Only the list in the "Create Alert" dialog shows the new names.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals: Update****Info Box: Time Rows Fixed and Expanded**
- The row that used to be called "Avg Time per Signal" was actually measuring the time between signals. It is now correctly named **Avg Time Between Signals**.
- **Avg Time per Signal** is now a new calculation. It shows how long your trades typically last, from the signal bar to the bar where the trade closed (take profit, stop loss or an opposite signal).
- **Time in Signal** is also new. It shows how long the trade that is open right now has been running, and reads "n/a" when no trade is open.
- **Time Since Last Signal** is unchanged.
- The rows now read in this order:
- Avg Time per Signal
- Time in Signal
- Avg Time Between Signals
- Time Since Last Signal
- All of them use the same Lookback setting as the other stats and switch between sec, min, hr and days automatically.
**Scanner Table**
- The "Avg Time" column header is now **Avg Between**, so it matches what it measures: the average time between signals on each timeframe.
**Default Change**
- **Take profit (x SL)** now defaults to **1.0** (it was 2.0). Take profit is placed at the same distance from entry as your stop loss.
- If you've saved your own settings, nothing changes for you.
릴리즈 노트
**OC Buy/Sell Signals: Update****Info Box: Time Rows Fixed and Expanded**
- The row that was called "Avg Time per Signal" was actually measuring the time between signals. That is fixed, and there are now four time rows:
- **Avg Time/Sig:** how long your trades typically last, from the signal bar to the bar where the trade closed (take profit, stop loss or an opposite signal).
- **Time in Sig:** how long the currently open trade has been running. It reads "n/a" when no trade is open.
- **Time btw Sig:** the average time between signals.
- **Time from Sig:** how long it has been since the last signal.
- They use the same Lookback setting as the other stats.
**Calendar Time and Market Time, Side by Side**
- Every time row shows both values, marked **(cal/mkt)**. For example, **1.2d / 6.4h** means 1.2 days of calendar time and 6.4 hours of market time.
- **Calendar time** is plain clock time, so nights, weekends and holidays count.
- **Market time** counts only the time the market was actually trading on your chart. It is the number of bars multiplied by your chart timeframe, so it follows your session setting (RTH, ETH, 24hr).
- On 24/7 markets like crypto, the two values match.
- Units are compact: s, m, h, d, w, mo and y.
**New: Avg Time Marker (Dot)**
- A dot now sits on the Entry line at the point where an average trade would be over. It is placed at the entry bar plus your average trade length (Avg Time/Sig in market time, converted to bars).
- If price hasn't hit your take profit or stop loss by the time it reaches the dot, the trade is running longer than usual.
- The dot is placed when the trade opens and doesn't move. It disappears when the trade closes, so only the open trade has one.
- There is no dot until at least one trade has closed, and it needs Show trade lines ON.
- Three new settings in the Display group: **Show avg time marker (dot)** (ON), **Avg time marker color** (black) and **Avg time marker size** (Large).
**Scanner Table**
- The "Avg Time" column header is now **Avg Between**, matching what it measures: the average time between signals on each timeframe, in calendar time.
**Default Change**
- **Take profit (x SL)** now defaults to **1.0** (it was 2.0).
- If you've saved your own settings, nothing changes for you.

- Turn on **Show position size** and the indicator works out how many shares or units to trade so a stop-out costs about the amount you set in **Risk per trade**.
- Set your **Account currency** so forex pairs like USDJPY convert correctly.
- The size and the cost of the position show on the Entry label. The SL and TP labels show the money you would lose or make.
- **Show size in info box** (off by default) adds a Position Size section to the info box.
- Each BUY/SELL can also send an alert message with entry, stop, target, size and risk. Pick "Any alert() function call" when you create it.
- Works for forex, stocks, ETFs and crypto. Futures show n/a. It needs a stop loss.
**Easier-to-read trade info**
- **Solid label background** (off by default) puts a solid color behind the Entry, SL and TP labels so the lines no longer run through the text. The color is adjustable.
- A red SL dot and a green TP dot now mark where the stop and target sit on the signal candle. They are drawn with the trade lines and removed when the lines are removed. **SL/TP marker size** defaults to Large.
**Default change**
- **Show closed trades** now defaults to 10.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals – Update****Easier Settings Panel**
- Every settings group now has a small icon in its heading (Signals, Stop Loss / Take Profit, Position Sizing, Lookback P/L, Multi-Timeframe Scanner, and Display), so you can find the group you need faster.
**Cleaner Info Box**
- The row that read "Avg Time/Sig" now reads "Time/Sig" to match the other time rows.
- The tooltip for "Show avg time marker (dot)" was updated to use the same name.
**No Change to Signals**
- Your signals, trade lines, stop loss, take profit, and statistics work exactly as before. This update only changes how the settings and info box look.
If you wanted a different angle or length, tell me what to change.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals – Update****New: Trade Label Options**
- "Show trade labels" is now a dropdown with four choices:
- **All:** Entry, SL and TP labels on every trade shown.
- **Current Any:** Labels only on the latest trade, open or closed, until the next signal replaces it.
- **Current Open:** Labels only while the trade is open. They disappear when it hits its SL or TP.
- **Off:** Lines and shading only, no labels.
- The default is Current Any, which keeps the chart cleaner. Lines, shading and the exit X on past trades are not affected.
- Your saved setting for this option resets to the new default when you update.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals – Update****Info Box Changes**
- The time rows are reordered: Time in Sig, Av Time/Sig, Time from Sig, Av Time btw Sig.
- "Av" (average) was added to Time/Sig and Time btw Sig, so it is clear which rows are averages and which are live counts.
- Time from Sig now runs from the current bar back to the entry of the last closed trade. Before, it matched Time in Sig while a trade was open. Now the two rows always show different information. Before the first closed trade, it shows n/a.
- The tooltip for "Show avg time marker (dot)" was updated to use the new name.
**Smaller Tables by Default**
- Info box size and Scanner size now default to Tiny (they were Small), which leaves more of the chart visible.
- Both are still adjustable in the settings. Your own saved settings stay as you set them, and the new defaults apply to new charts or after you reset the inputs.

**OC Buy/Sell Signals: Symbol Scanner Update 2****New: Default exchange**
- A new box in the Symbol Scanner group, placed above the symbols list.
- Type an exchange once, for example TASTYFX, and every symbol you enter without its own exchange uses it. USDJPY becomes TASTYFX:USDJPY behind the scenes.
- A symbol typed with its own exchange, such as NASDAQ:MSFT, keeps it.
- Why it matters: when no exchange is given, TradingView picks a feed on its own, and that feed can differ from your chart. Different candles can give a different win rate and a different open-trade status. Matching the exchange to your chart makes the symbol scanner agree with your main scanner.
- Leave it blank and nothing changes from before.
**New: request limit warning row**
- TradingView allows 40 data requests per script (64 on the Ultimate plan). Each symbol and timeframe pair uses one, so a long symbol list with many timeframes can run past the limit.
- When that happens, a red row now appears directly under the title, for example "Showing 5 of 7 symbols - request limit".
- The row also suggests fixes: how many timeframes or symbols fit, and a reminder to turn off Show scanner if it is using part of the budget.
- Hover over the row for the full breakdown: requests needed, the limit, and how many are used elsewhere in the script.
- When everything fits, the row does not appear.
**Symbols entry**
- The symbols box now recommends ALL CAPS in its label and tooltip. The indicator still converts what you type, so this just keeps the list tidy.
**Open-trade colours (included in this version)**
- A cell turns green while a long trade is open on that symbol and timeframe, and red while a short trade is open.
- Cells with no open trade stay a plain dark background, showing the win rate only.
**New defaults**
- Info box position: Bottom Left.
- Symbol Scanner position: Bottom Right.
- TradingView keeps saved settings on charts that already have the indicator, so reset to defaults or change the positions once to see the new layout.

**OC Update: Cleaner Settings Layout****Info Box Has Its Own Group**
- The info box settings (Show info box, position and size) now sit in their own "Info Box" group, right below Lookback P/L.
- The default position is unchanged, so your chart looks the same.
**Show Closed Trades Moved**
- "Show closed trades" is now the first setting in the Display group, next to the other chart drawing options.
- The Lookback P/L group now holds only the Lookback setting.
Settings are organized the same way as in XL, so both indicators feel familiar.

**OC Update: Cleaner Scanner****No More Row Shading in the Timeframe Scanner**
- The rows in the Multi-Timeframe Scanner are no longer shaded green or red when a new signal appears.
- The shading only lasted for one bar of each timeframe and was easy to misread, so it is gone.
- To see whether a trade is open, use the Status column, which shows OPEN, TP or SL for each timeframe.
- The Symbol Scanner is unchanged. It still shades a cell green or red while a trade is open.
**Simpler Low and Micro Scanner Detail**
- **Low** now shows Timeframe, Status, Net P/L and Win Rate.
- **Micro** now shows Timeframe, Status and Win Rate.
- The Signal and Avg Between columns were dropped from these two levels to save space.
- Medium, High and Maximum are unchanged.

**OC Update: Clearer Win Rate****Limited Data Is Now Obvious**
- In the Multi-Timeframe Scanner, when a timeframe has fewer closed trades than your Lookback setting, the Win Rate cell no longer shows a percentage.
- It shows only the win and loss count in red, for example `3W/1L`, so you can see right away the sample is too small to trust.
- Once a timeframe reaches your Lookback count, the cell goes back to the normal white display with the percentage and the counts, for example `65% (13W/7L)`.
- A timeframe with no closed trades still shows a dash.

**OC Update: Signal Direction and Symbols Scanner****New Signal Direction Setting**
- The "Alternate signals" toggle is now a **Signal Direction** dropdown in the Signals group, with four choices:
- **Alternate Signals:** Signals alternate BUY, SELL, BUY, and a repeat in the same direction is skipped. This is the default and matches the old behavior.
- **Any Signal:** Every qualifying candle fires, in both directions.
- **Buy Only Sig:** Only BUY signals fire. SELL signals never appear.
- **Sell Only Sig:** Only SELL signals fire. BUY signals never appear.
- "Ignore signals while a trade is open" still applies on top of every choice.
- In Buy Only Sig, Sell Only Sig and Any Signal, a repeat signal in the same direction closes the open trade and opens a new one, unless that toggle blocks it.
- The Multi-Timeframe Scanner and the Symbol Scanner follow the setting, so their win rates match the chart.
- The info box shows a "Signal Direction" row with Alternate, Any, Buy only or Sell only.
- Charts that already use OC will not carry over the old toggle value, so check the new dropdown after updating.
**Symbols Scanner**
- The scanner is now on by default and sits at the bottom center of the chart.
- The table title now reads "OC Symbols Scanner" and the settings group is named "Symbols Scanner".
