Risk Management
Risk Management is a simple position sizing tool designed to help traders manage risk more consistently.
Enter your desired Risk (USD), Stop Loss (%), and Leverage (X). The indicator calculates the estimated Position Size based on the amount you are willing to risk and the distance to your stop loss, then calculates the corresponding Position Margin based on your selected leverage.
How it works:
• Risk (USD): The maximum amount you are willing to risk on the trade.
• Stop %: Your planned stop-loss distance in percentage.
• Leverage X: The leverage you intend to use.
• Position Size: The estimated total notional value of the position.
• Position Margin: The estimated capital required to open the position at the selected leverage.
Example: With $10 risk, a 3% stop, and 25x leverage, the tool calculates a $333.33 position size and approximately $13.33 in required margin.
This tool is intended to simplify position sizing and promote disciplined risk management. Always consider fees, slippage, liquidation risk, and actual exchange requirements before entering a trade.
