M-Alpha-Pressure Profile - Buying vs Selling Volume by Price

What it does
M-Alpha-Pressure Profile is a rolling volume profile that splits every price level into buying and selling pressure. It sits to the right of price, marks the level with the most volume (POC) and outlines the levels where one side clearly dominated.
How it works
1. Window: the last 200 closed bars (adjustable), divided into 30 price rows between their highest high and lowest low.
2. Each bar's volume is spread evenly over the price range it traded.
3. Buying vs selling: estimated from where the bar closed in its range. A close at the high counts as all buying, a close at the low as all selling, a close in the middle as half and half. This is an estimate from candles, not real order flow.
4. POC: the row with the most total volume, drawn as a line through the window with its buying share.
5. Dominant rows (65 % or more for one side, adjustable) get an outline in that side's color.
How to use it
- Rows with mostly buying below price often act as support, rows with mostly selling above price as resistance; the POC is the price the market accepted most.
- A shorter window shows the current session, a longer one the bigger structure.
What makes it different
- Most profiles show total volume only. This one shows who was pushing at each level, using only the chart's own candles, so it works on every symbol with volume.
Limitations
- Buying and selling are estimated from candle shape, not from trades.
- On symbols without volume the profile is empty.
