Auto Support & Resistance Volume Based + Scanner

Auto Support & Resistance Volume Based + Scanner builds its levels from one thing only: the exact prices where unusually large volume traded on your higher timeframes. Volume that size typically comes from institutional and professional activity, and price tends to react when it comes back to where that activity happened, so instead of guessing which lines matter, you get levels ranked by how much real volume created them.
Developed by Trend Friend, this indicator uses custom formulas to find those volume spikes on up to four higher timeframes at once, sort each one into a Large, Huge or Massive size tier, and draw a labeled support and resistance line at the exact closing price of each spike candle. A built-in scanner then watches up to 7 more tickers with the same formulas and tells you the moment a volume spike or a level touch happens anywhere on your watchlist.
Why big volume creates support and resistance: when a huge amount of buying and selling happens on one candle, a lot of traders end up with positions tied to that price. When price comes back to it later, those traders defend positions, take profits or add on, which is why heavy volume prices get so many reactions.

How the Levels Are Calculated
The chart levels and the scanner run the exact same detection formulas, so the chart and the scanner always agree about the same ticker on the same timeframe. The exact averaging windows, weightings and size thresholds are proprietary and are what make this script worth protecting, but the steps above are what those formulas are doing.

Chart Features
Support & Resistance Lines - Up to 12 levels on your chart: 3 spike sizes across 4 higher timeframes. The lines get thicker with each timeframe slot, so with the default settings the thickest lines are your highest timeframe levels and deserve the most respect. Every line paints your support color when price is above it and your resistance color when price is below it, with a light color fill between the line and price, so you can see at a glance which levels are under you and which are over you.
Level Labels - Every level gets a label to the right of price showing its timeframe and spike size. L means Large, H means Huge and M means Massive, so a label that reads 240 M is a Massive volume spike level from the 240 minute timeframe and one of the most important prices on your chart. Labels can be turned off, and you can adjust the text color, background color, text size and how many bars to the right of price they sit to suit your preferences.
Spike Size Filters for Each Timeframe - Each timeframe has its own dropdown to show all three sizes, only Huge and Massive, or Massive only, plus its own on and off toggle. Massive levels always show for any timeframe that is turned on. If you want the cleanest possible chart with only the levels that matter most, set every timeframe to Massive only. These controls change the chart levels and the scanner results at the same time.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
The Scanner
The scanner table watches up to 7 extra tickers using the same spike detection and the same levels as the chart, so you never miss activity on the rest of your watchlist while you focus on one chart. The default tickers are major crypto pairs and every slot can be changed to any symbol you want.

Alerts
Spike alerts fire exactly once per spike on both the chart ticker and the scanner tickers, so a single spike never floods you with repeat alerts. Touch alerts fire when a candle's range reaches a level. The scanner display mode controls which alert types are active, and turning off a timeframe, ticker or spike size removes it from the alerts too. Set these up through TradingView's alert menu so you do not have to watch the chart all day.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Higher Timeframe Data, Level Confirmation and Repainting
Levels only come from completed higher timeframe candles. Spike detection never evaluates the still forming higher timeframe candle. A candle is checked the moment it closes on its higher timeframe, and if it qualifies as a spike, the level appears on the next chart bar at that candle's exact confirmed closing price. From that moment the level is locked. It can never move, redraw or repaint, and the levels you see on historical bars are exactly what you would have seen live. The tradeoff is a short delay by design: a spike building on a live higher timeframe candle will not show until that candle closes, and that is what makes every level permanent.
No future data is used. The script never reads data from candles that have not finished, so nothing in the indicator is based on information that could still change.
Live values on the open chart bar. The support and resistance colors, the color fills, level touch detection and the scanner table all update in real time with the current forming chart candle, the same way any standard indicator does. A line can flip between the support and resistance colors while the live candle trades back and forth across it, and a touch alert can fire during a live candle the moment price reaches a level. Once a chart candle closes, its values are final and never change.

Markets and Timeframes
This indicator works on all markets that have volume data, including stocks, crypto, futures and forex. The levels are built from volume, so symbols with no volume data cannot draw levels.
It works on all chart timeframes as long as every higher timeframe in the settings is set higher than your chart timeframe. The default timeframes are set up for low timeframe charts like the 1 minute, so raise them when you trade higher timeframe charts. Make sure you save a chart layout for each timeframe you trade often so your settings are always ready without redoing them.

How the Levels Are Calculated
- On each higher timeframe you have turned on, every completed candle's volume is compared against a proprietary adaptive average of recent volume on that timeframe. The average blends multiple recent windows together and it automatically adjusts to every symbol and timeframe without any manual tuning.
- When a completed candle's volume is far enough above that baseline, it counts as a volume spike, and how far above it lands decides the size tier. Large is the lowest qualifying size, Huge is bigger, and Massive spikes are the biggest and most important.
- A level is drawn at the exact confirmed closing price of the spike candle. The line locks to that price the moment it appears and never moves.
- Each timeframe tracks up to three lines at once: the most recent Large or bigger spike, the most recent Huge or bigger spike, and the most recent Massive spike. Keep in mind a Massive spike snaps all three of that timeframe's lines to the same price, and they spread back apart as smaller spikes come in.
The chart levels and the scanner run the exact same detection formulas, so the chart and the scanner always agree about the same ticker on the same timeframe. The exact averaging windows, weightings and size thresholds are proprietary and are what make this script worth protecting, but the steps above are what those formulas are doing.

- Volume Spikes - When a new spike happens on any turned on timeframe for any turned on ticker, that ticker's row shows the size and timeframe, for example BTCUSD - Spike: Massive 240. Every spike counts as its own event, including back to back spikes on consecutive candles, and each one stays visible in the table for a number of chart candles you control.
- Level Touches - When a scanned ticker's current candle touches one of its levels, the row shows which timeframe's level is being touched. Watching several related tickers react to their volume levels at the same time is a strong read on the whole group, so try loading the scanner with tickers from one sector to see how that sector is behaving.
- Display Modes - Show level touches and volume spikes, level touches only, or volume spikes only. This setting also controls which alert types can fire.
- Customization - Turn the table on or off, move it to any of 9 positions on the chart, and change the text and background colors. Rows only take up space when something is actually happening.

How to Trade with This Indicator
- Look for bounces at the Massive and Huge levels, especially the thick lines from your higher timeframes. Those are the prices where the largest volume traded and they get the strongest reactions.
- Watch for a line jumping to the current price area. That means a new spike just printed, which is large volume entering the market right now, and that usually means a reversal is close. If the reversal fails, the trend usually keeps going but faster. Waiting for a fresh level to print near price before buying bottoms or selling tops keeps you out of a lot of chop.
- When the levels pull in around price and the colors flip from green to red or red to green across the board, sentiment is changing and a trend reversal is likely.
- Beware of low volume breakouts. If price breaks away from a group of levels and no new lines print near the move, big volume did not come with it and price usually comes right back to the levels it left.
- If there are no levels near the current price, look left. Older levels in that price range are still very relevant areas.
- Check your higher timeframes and mark the prices where Massive levels sat for long stretches, then keep those marks on your lower timeframe charts so you never get caught off guard by a major level.
- Make sure you use the highest volume feed available for each symbol, such as the primary listing exchange for a stock or the highest volume exchange chart for a crypto pair. The levels are built from volume, so better volume data gives you better levels.
- Spend some time scrolling back through history on your favorite symbols so you get a feel for how price reacts to each spike size before you trade it live.

This indicator works on all markets that have volume data, including stocks, crypto, futures and forex. The levels are built from volume, so symbols with no volume data cannot draw levels.

Make sure you save a chart layout for each timeframe you trade often so your settings are always ready without redoing them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Important Notes and Limitations
- Every higher timeframe must be set higher than your chart timeframe. If one is set the same or lower, a warning shows at the top of the chart telling you which timeframe to change.
- To keep the script fast, the scanner only analyzes a shorter window of recent data for each scanned ticker, so the scanner can miss older levels that show up when you load that same ticker as your chart. The chart ticker always uses your full available history.
- Quiet symbols with thin volume give fewer and weaker levels because the calculations need real activity to measure against. High volume symbols give the best results.
- Symbols or timeframes with very little history may show few levels at first, since the calculations need enough data to build their baseline.
- The levels show you where the important volume traded, not what price has to do next. No indicator is right all of the time and past results never guarantee future performance, so always use your own judgment and manage your risk on every trade.
