First Wave → Pullback → Reclaim: A Cleaner Way to Trade Leaders

This chart shows a clean continuation structure in a leading stock.

The key point is not simply that price moved higher.
The more useful lesson is that the move followed a repeatable structure:

First Wave → Pullback → Reclaim

Price first formed a clear First Wave.
This move had continuity. It was not just a single emotional breakout candle, and it did not look like the final stage of a parabolic move. That matters because a cleaner first wave usually creates a better foundation for the next pullback setup.

After the first wave, price entered a Pullback.
The pullback did not fully damage the trend structure. Instead, price reset near the short- and medium-term moving averages.

For this type of setup, the ideal background usually includes:

10MA > 20MA > 50MA
price showing relative strength versus the market
RSI / momentum staying constructive
lower volume during the pullback
no heavy breakdown candle through support
stronger demand returning on the reclaim

The most important part is the Reclaim Bar.

When price reclaims strength after the pullback and buyers step back in, it suggests short-term control may be shifting from sellers back to buyers. This is not just a bounce. Structurally, it can mark the transition from correction back into continuation.

So the lesson here is not:

“Chase strong stocks.”

The lesson is:

find leaders,
wait for a clean first wave,
let the pullback reset the structure,
and only act when reclaim appears.

This workflow helps reduce two common mistakes:

buying the most extended breakout candle
entering too early before the pullback has truly reclaimed strength

Of course, after a reclaim bar appears, risk still matters:

is the entry too far from invalidation
is the R still reasonable
can the reclaim bar low hold
does follow-through develop afterward

The main point is simple:

Good trade opportunities often come from repeatable structure, not prediction.

First Wave builds momentum.
Pullback resets the structure.
Reclaim provides the action signal.
