This indicator is a highly customizable trend-following tool designed to capture momentum while filtering out false signals in ranging markets. It generates buy and sell signals based on price crossing a primary Moving Average, backed by two powerful optional filters to ensure high-probability entries.
Key Features:
Dynamic Main MA: Choose between SMA or EMA for your primary signal line. Signals are triggered when the price crosses over (Buy) or under (Sell) this Moving Average.
Trend Strength Filter (ADX): An optional ADX filter ensures you only take trades when the market has sufficient momentum, avoiding choppy or sideways price action.
Macro Trend Filter (Long Period MA): Filter out counter-trend setups by aligning your trades with a longer-term Moving Average. You can fully customize the length (default is 100) and type (SMA or EMA). Buys are only allowed above this line, and sells only below it.
Built-in Alerts: Includes ready-to-use alert conditions for confirmed Buy and Sell signals (triggers on candle close) for easy automation.
How to Use:
Enable the Long Period MA to establish the overall market direction, and use the ADX filter to confirm trend strength. Once the conditions align, wait for the price to cross the Main MA to pinpoint your entry. This script is ideal for Forex, Gold (XAUUSD), and Crypto traders looking to build automated strategies or optimize manual trading.
