Supply & Demand Zones with Stats by Olympus Cipher

5 491

The indicator automatically finds supply and demand zones on any chart and timeframe, draws them, tracks what price does with each one, and shows the results in a small statistics table. It’s built on the base and leg-out structure: a tight consolidation (the base) followed by a strong, explosive candle (the leg-out) that leaves the area.

Demand zone (green): a base followed by a strong bullish leg-out that closes above the base. The idea is that buyers were active there and price may react when it returns.

Supply zone (red): a base followed by a strong bearish leg-out that closes below the base. The idea is that sellers were active there and price may react when it returns.

Proximal line (solid): the edge of the zone closest to the current price. For demand, it’s the top of the base; for supply, it’s the bottom.

Distal line (dashed): the far edge of the zone. For demand, it’s the bottom of the base; for supply, it’s the top. It acts as the invalidation level.

Fresh: the zone has not been revisited. Its lines keep extending to the right.

Tested: price has touched the proximal line. The box and lines turn gray, and the lines stop extending.

Worked: the zone was tested, and price then reached the 1:1 reward-to-risk target. The target is the same distance beyond the proximal line as the zone’s height.

Failed: price broke through the distal line (a low below it for demand, a high above it for supply). A zone can fail without ever being tested.

If a single bar both breaks the distal and reaches the target, failure takes priority.

The 1:1R is set to just see the accuracy. It's not to use Fixed 1:1R. Depending on your strategy, you can target multiples of your risk.

Performance table

Total Zones: all zones detected on the loaded chart.
Active / Pending: zones not yet worked or failed.
Worked (1RR): zones that were tested and then reached the 1:1 target.
Failed: zones whose distal line was broken.
Accuracy %: Worked ÷ (Worked + Failed) × 100. Active zones are not counted.

Settings

Base Consolidation Rules: min and max base candles, and the maximum base body-to-range ratio.
Explosive Departure Rules: the minimum leg-out body-to-range ratio, the leg-out range multiple versus the average base range, and the number of sustained departure candles.
Visual Settings: toggles for proximal/distal lines and labels, plus custom colors for demand, supply, and tested zones (fill and line).
Performance Dashboard: show or hide the table.

How to use it

Use the zones as areas of interest, to be combined with your own analysis such as market structure, higher-timeframe context, volume, or risk management.
Fresh zones that price hasn’t revisited are usually considered the most relevant.
Different symbols and timeframes behave differently, so adjust the base and leg-out settings to the market you trade.
Tighter leg-out settings (a higher range multiple or body ratio) give fewer, more selective zones. Looser settings give more zones.
