- On the left side, before December 2022, we have a bear/declining market.
- On the right side, after December 2022, we have a bullish/rising market.
Let's give a quick glance at the candles. We are looking at Bitcoin (BTCUSD) on the weekly timeframe.
- Notice how in 2023 the advances are all green candles with big real bodies.
- Notice how the retraces and corrections have all small bodies. This is quite telling, it is easy to see the pattern here.
If this approach is doubtful, look to the left and see how big the real body of the red candles are, they are huge... Nothing like this in 2023.
This tells us that in 2022 we were in a bear/declining market and in 2023 we are in a bullish/rising market.
