I've been watching VIX closely since September, and the accumulation has been growing since then and it's not stopped yet, it looks like it set double top and currently is cooling down but the indicators are still very strong and they don't get that strong that often on daily time frame, the VIX may look like it's cooling down for a holiday cheer but it didn't go away yet. So be prepared for a possible volatility to hit again.

UPDATE: the VIX is getting ready for the push higher, currently there's a positive accumulation on the short-term but the mid-term has weakened, it will be difficult to jump very high but let's wait and see. In a week or two we should see some progress if the setup succeeds or gets rejected, or maybe even sooner. Uwaga
VIX mid-term has turned more bearish after the recent push, that was the maximum for now. At the moment there's no bullish formation continuation in VIX.
