PSF Fresh - Multi-Band Pivot Confluence

356
PSF Fresh plots classic floor-trader pivots (PP, S1–S3, R1–R3) from four higher-timeframe bands at the same time — Daily, Weekly, Monthly and a configurable N-day band (3D by default) — and highlights the places where levels from different bands stack on top of each other.

Most pivot tools show one timeframe at a time, so every level looks equally important. Running all four bands together answers a different question: which prices are a level on more than one timeframe? Those stacked levels are marked with a star and a thicker line.

HOW IT WORKS

Pivots. Each band uses the prior completed period's high, low and close:
PP = (H + L + C) / 3, R1 = 2·PP − L, S1 = 2·PP − H, R2 = PP + (H − L), S2 = PP − (H − L), R3 = PP + 2·(H − L), S3 = PP − 2·(H − L).
Line color identifies the band (Daily aqua, Weekly lime, Monthly fuchsia, N-day yellow).

Confluence. Two or more levels from different bands that sit within a set distance of each other (0.20 × ATR by default) are flagged as a confluence zone. The distance uses the prior completed DAILY ATR by default, so the same zone is detected on a 1-minute chart and on a daily chart — the levels are higher-timeframe prices and do not change with the chart timeframe.

Volatility regime. A normalization ratio compares the current period's developing range with the prior period's completed range, weighted across Daily, Weekly and Monthly (0.72 / 0.22 / 0.06). The result is classified as Compression, Normal, Expansion or Extreme and shown in the table (with optional background shading). An alternative definition — prior range divided by its 20-period average — can be selected; its thresholds switch with it.

Table. Each active level is listed with its price and its distance from the current price, in ATR and in percent, so levels from different bands can be compared on one scale. Levels close to price are highlighted.

Optional context. Volume-confirmed touches (a level touched on above-average volume, colored by bar direction), an EMA 9/20 + VWAP bias that can dim, hide or keep counter-trend levels (small B/S tags mark where that bias flips), a MACD-histogram filter, a New York open (09:30 ET) marker, and a Smart level mode that picks bands and depth from the chart timeframe.

HOW TO USE IT

The indicator was designed for index futures and ETFs on intraday charts, read around the New York open. Treat starred zones as areas to watch for a reaction, and the regime as context: a Compression read means the current range is small relative to the prior period. Confluence and regime describe where price is relative to past ranges; they do not predict direction.

NON-REPAINTING

All higher-timeframe values are taken from the prior completed period (request.security on [1] with lookahead_on), and the developing range is accumulated from current and past chart bars only, so historical levels do not change after the fact.

ALERTS AND DATA

Four alert conditions: level touch, high-volume touch, confluence touch, and regime change. Nearest support/resistance, their distance in ATR, confluence counts and the regime are available in the Data Window for use in your own analysis.

LIMITATIONS

Pivots are derived from past ranges only. On symbols without a daily series the thresholds fall back to the chart ATR. Volume-based features need a symbol with volume data. This script is a charting aid, not a trading system, and does not give buy or sell signals.
