# TOLAG Eclipse CRT | TGL 3
**Candle Range Theory • Liquidity Manipulation • Market Structure • Trade Planning**
## OVERVIEW
TOLAG Eclipse CRT | TGL 3 is a dual-system Candle Range Theory indicator designed to help traders identify higher-timeframe reference ranges, liquidity manipulation, structural confirmation, and potential trade opportunities.
The indicator combines CRT range analysis with market structure and imbalance intelligence, presenting the developing market narrative directly on the price chart.

**The Eclipse workflow:**
Reference Range → Liquidity Sweep → Manipulation → Structural Confirmation → Qualified BUY/SELL → Trade Planning
Unlike indicators that treat every liquidity sweep as a trade opportunity, Eclipse separates informational events from qualified trading signals.
Its visual presentation uses Midnight Violet, Electric Cyan, Amber, and Neon Rose to distinguish important price-action events.
## 1. CANDLE RANGE THEORY — THE FOUNDATION
Eclipse uses a selectable higher timeframe to establish reference candle ranges.
The high and low of a completed higher-timeframe candle provide boundaries for analyzing subsequent price behavior.
Depending on the enabled settings, the indicator can display:
- Higher-timeframe candle ranges
- Bullish and bearish CRT zones
- Reference highs and lows
- Candle body and wick context
- Equilibrium or midpoint levels
- Historical reference ranges
**Interpretation:**
A price movement beyond a reference high or low may represent a breakout or liquidity sweep. Eclipse evaluates the subsequent price response before classifying the event.
A reference range alone does not generate a trading signal.
## 2. LIQUIDITY MANIPULATION
Liquidity manipulation is a central component of Eclipse.
A qualifying manipulation involves price moving beyond an established reference boundary and subsequently reclaiming that boundary.
**Bullish manipulation:**
Price sweeps below a reference low, then closes back inside the range, creating the conditions for a possible bullish setup.
**Bearish manipulation:**
Price sweeps above a reference high, then closes back inside the range, creating the conditions for a possible bearish setup.
The indicator evaluates the configured minimum sweep distance and reclaim requirements before recognizing the event.
Confirmed events can be marked with a compact highlighted zone and the text **Manipulation**.
**Important:** A manipulation label is not automatically a BUY or SELL signal. Further confirmation may be required.

## 3. MARKET STRUCTURE INTELLIGENCE
Eclipse incorporates market structure analysis to distinguish continuation from potential directional change.
**Structural classifications:**
- **HH — Higher High:** A confirmed swing high above a previous relevant high.
- **HL — Higher Low:** A confirmed swing low above a previous relevant low.
- **LH — Lower High:** A confirmed swing high below a previous relevant high.
- **LL — Lower Low:** A confirmed swing low below a previous relevant low.
The indicator is designed to emphasize meaningful structural swings instead of labeling every minor fluctuation.
### BREAK OF STRUCTURE — BOS
A BOS identifies a break of meaningful structure in the established directional trend.
It provides evidence that the existing trend may be continuing.
### MARKET STRUCTURE SHIFT — MSS
An MSS identifies a break of meaningful opposing structure.
Following a liquidity sweep and reclaim, an MSS can support the interpretation that price is transitioning toward a potential reversal.
**BOS and MSS are structural events, not automatic trade entries.**
## 4. FAIR VALUE GAPS AND INVERSE FAIR VALUE GAPS
Eclipse incorporates imbalance analysis to identify potential reaction and confirmation areas.
**Fair Value Gap — FVG**
An FVG is a qualifying price imbalance associated with directional movement.
The indicator can highlight these regions as potential retracement or retest areas.
**Inverse Fair Value Gap — IFVG**
An IFVG represents an imbalance whose original directional role has been invalidated or inverted.
Such areas may provide context for subsequent price reactions.
Depending on the selected setup configuration, a qualifying FVG retest may contribute to trade confirmation.
Not every FVG or IFVG is a valid trading opportunity.
## 5. BUY AND SELL SIGNALS
Eclipse distinguishes ordinary structural annotations from qualified trading signals.

A BUY or SELL signal may require several conditions to align:
1. A valid higher-timeframe CRT reference range.
2. A qualifying liquidity sweep and reclaim.
3. An appropriate structural response.
4. The configured confirmation requirement, such as an MSS close or FVG retest.
5. Applicable directional and reward-to-risk filters.
**BUY:** Identifies a qualified bullish setup.
**SELL:** Identifies a qualified bearish setup.
Signals should be evaluated using confirmed candles and the selected timeframe.
A manipulation, BOS, MSS, or FVG label alone should not be interpreted as an entry instruction.
## 6. VISUAL TRADE PLANNING
Eclipse includes optional chart-based trade projections for qualified setups.
When enabled, the trade visualization can display:
- Proposed entry level
- Protective stop-loss level
- Projected take-profit level
- Risk and reward regions
- Potential reward-to-risk relationship
The protective stop is evaluated relative to the relevant manipulation extreme, with any configured buffer.
The projected target helps traders assess whether the proposed trade offers sufficient potential reward relative to its risk.
**Example:**
A proposed bullish setup with an entry at 100, a stop at 99, and a target at 103 has a projected reward-to-risk ratio of 3:1 before transaction costs.
The trade drawings are analytical projections and do not execute broker orders.
## 7. PRACTICAL TRADING WORKFLOW
### STEP 1 — ESTABLISH THE REFERENCE RANGE
Select a higher timeframe appropriate for the trading approach.
For example, a trader using a 15-minute execution chart may analyze a 1-hour or 4-hour CRT reference candle.
### STEP 2 — OBSERVE LIQUIDITY INTERACTION
Watch how price interacts with the reference high or low.
A breakout alone does not establish manipulation.
### STEP 3 — IDENTIFY MANIPULATION
Wait for a qualifying sweep and reclaim.
The highlighted Manipulation zone identifies the relevant event.

### STEP 4 — CONFIRM MARKET STRUCTURE
Evaluate whether the price response produces an MSS or another qualifying structural confirmation.
### STEP 5 — REVIEW FVG / IFVG
Where imbalance confirmation is enabled, identify the relevant FVG or IFVG and evaluate the required retest conditions.
### STEP 6 — WAIT FOR BUY OR SELL
Use the qualified BUY or SELL marker rather than treating every informational annotation as an entry signal.
### STEP 7 — REVIEW RISK AND REWARD
Enable the optional trade projection and examine the entry, stop, target, and reward-to-risk relationship.
### STEP 8 — MANAGE THE TRADE
Apply independent risk management and position sizing.
The projected target is not a guarantee of future price movement.
## 8. SETTINGS AND CUSTOMIZATION

Eclipse provides configuration options for adapting the indicator to different instruments and chart preferences.
**Higher-Timeframe Settings**
Select the reference timeframe and available range visualization options.
**Manipulation Settings**
Adjust the minimum sweep requirement, reclaim confirmation, and related detection parameters.
**Structure Settings**
Configure structural sensitivity and the display of HH, HL, LH, LL, BOS, and MSS.
**FVG Settings**
Configure qualifying imbalance detection and available retest conditions.
**Trade Planning Settings**
Adjust available stop buffers, reward-to-risk requirements, target projections, and trade visualization.
**Visual Settings**
Control historical ranges, zone visibility, structural labels, manipulation text, signal markers, and dashboard presentation.
The precise available inputs depend on the published script version.
## 9. VISUAL DESIGN
TOLAG Eclipse CRT uses a premium visual identity intended to communicate market behavior without excessive chart clutter.
- **Midnight Violet:** CRT and structural context.
- **Electric Cyan:** Selected bullish and directional information.
- **Amber:** Manipulation events and areas of interest.
- **Neon Rose:** Selected bearish and opposing directional information.
The indicator uses compact labels, transparent zones, and optional historical drawings to keep the underlying candlesticks visible.
The goal is to explain market behavior rather than simply decorate the chart.
## 10. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
TOLAG Eclipse CRT is a technical analysis and trade-planning indicator.
Liquidity manipulation is inferred from observable price behavior. The indicator cannot verify institutional intent or determine why a particular participant entered the market.
Confirmed structural pivots may require additional candles before they can be classified.
Developing higher-timeframe candles and unconfirmed real-time conditions may change before their respective closes.
A confirmed manipulation, BOS, MSS, FVG, or BUY/SELL signal does not guarantee a successful trade.
Projected stops and targets may not fully reflect spreads, commissions, slippage, liquidity, or execution conditions.
Traders should independently evaluate the indicator across different instruments, timeframes, and market environments before using it in live trading.
**No indicator eliminates market risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results.**
