Monthly Returns Heatmap
This heat-map displays the month-by-month percentage return of the selected asset (e.g., BTC) using monthly candles, with green/red cells making it easy to spot periods that have historically been strong or weak. Seasonality matters for Bitcoin because its returns tend to cluster around recurring market behaviours liquidity cycles, risk-on/risk-off regimes, and the post-halving cycle, so certain months often show consistent tendencies across different years.
Example use: if the heat-map shows that Q1 has frequently been weak during midterm/bear years, you can use it to plan a simple accumulation approach, buying in equal tranches during historically softer months and reducing risk-taking during months that repeatedly show poor performance.
