Since September 20, 2021, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange has officially expanded the components of the DAX 30 index to 40 shares or the DAX 40 index. Of the 40 stocks of selected large companies that are components of the DAX 40 index, as many as 15 stocks made a profit, while 24 stocks suffered losses and one stock traded unchanged. The European Central Bank will be in the spotlight when policymakers meet to decide on a monetary policy path against a backdrop of record-high inflation and fears of a war-induced recession. As it goes, the ECB plans to end its emergency bond purchases at some point in the third quarter.
