[blackcat] L1 Momentum Crossover Pro

█ OVERVIEW
Momentum Crossover Pro (MCP) is an advanced oscillator-based trading indicator that identifies high-probability entry and exit points through momentum crossover analysis. It features a DIF oscillator with dynamic signal line, multi-zone detection, and real-time status monitoring with visual alerts.
█ CONCEPTS
This indicator utilizes a triple-layer momentum analysis system to identify optimal trading conditions.
Core Principles
• Zero-lag EMA algorithm reduces signal delay for faster response
• Multi-period normalization places price action in context (0-100 scale)
• Momentum confirmation filters false signals during choppy markets
• Zone-based filtering prevents entries in extreme overbought/oversold conditions
█ HOW TO USE
1 — Add the indicator to your chart from the Indicators menu
2 — Observe the DIF Line (green) crossing above/below the Pink In Line (magenta)
3 — Look for "B" labels for buy signals and "S" labels for sell signals
4 — Monitor the status table in the top-right corner for real-time values

█ OVERVIEWMomentum Crossover Pro V2 is an oscillator-based trading system that maps
high-probability entries and exits through momentum crossover analysis with
full signal lifecycle management: a DIF oscillator with dynamic signal line,
state-machine governance, ATR-based stop-loss/take-profit, cooldown filtering,
and a real-time status dashboard.
█ CONCEPTS
• DIF Oscillator: normalized momentum oscillator (0–100) measuring
price position inside a volatility-adjusted range, smoothed by EMA/WMA/ALMA
with optional zero-lag compensation.
• Signal Lines: White Out (price-based smoothing) and Pink In
(derived from White Out extremes) provide the crossover triggers.
• State Machine: position tracking (-1/0/+1) blocks conflicting signals,
enforces same-bar exclusivity (exit priority) and applies a cooldown window.
• Zone Detection: classifies conditions as Oversold (<20), Bearish
(20–50), Bullish (50–80), Overbought (>80) from the Pink In line.
• ATR Risk Management: SL/TP levels as ATR multipliers, adapting to
current volatility.
█ HOW TO USE
1 — Add "MCP V2" or "[blackcat]" from the indicator library; it plots in a
separate pane below price.
2 — Tune inputs via Settings: Calculation, Signal, Governance, Risk, Visual.
3 — Read the labels: B=long entry, S=short entry, XL/XS=exit,
RL/RS=re-entry (optional).
Key Inputs (defaults in parentheses)
• Calculation: Volatility Period (27), Fast/Slow EMA (5/3), High/Low Period
(33), White Out EMA (8), Pink In Highest (3)
• Smoothing: Period (4), Type (EMA | WMA | ALMA)
• Signals: Buy Threshold (25), Sell Threshold (75), Oversold Level (10)
• Reference Levels: 90 / 50 / 35 / 10 — all user-editable
• Lag Reduction: Zero-Lag (on), Momentum Confirmation (on), Lookback (3)
• Governance (V2): State Machine (on), Same-bar Exclusivity (on), Cooldown (3)
• Risk (V2): Show TP/SL (on), ATR Length (14), SL 2.0xATR, TP 3.0xATR
• Re-entry (V2, off): Anchor Window (5), Breakout Source (Close)
• Visual: B/S Labels, Status Table, Buy Preparation Area, Position Background
█ FEATURES
• Complete lifecycle: entry → position tracking → exit → optional re-entry
• Same-bar exclusivity and cooldown suppress contradictory / whipsaw signals
• Dynamic ATR stop-loss and take-profit adapt to volatility
• Zone filtering (OB/OS) plus optional momentum confirmation
• Zero-lag EMA option; three smoothing methods (EMA/WMA/ALMA)
• Status table: position, DIF, Pink In, White Out, zone, last signal, TP/SL
• Position background color (green=long, red=short, none=flat)
• Six alert conditions: Long/Short Entry, Long/Short Exit, Re-entry L/S, Any
• All thresholds user-configurable, no hardcoded levels
█ SIGNALS
Lines
• DIF (green, width 2): main oscillator; rising = bullish momentum
• White Out (white, width 1): price-based reference for crossovers
• Pink In (magenta, width 2): primary crossover trigger
• Dashed references: 90 overbought, 50 strength, 35 balance, 10 oversold,
-10 extreme oversold
Labels
• B: DIF crosses above White Out with momentum, not overbought
• S: DIF crosses below White Out with momentum, not oversold
• XL / XS: long / short exit on the opposite crossover
• RL / RS: re-entry after price breaks the exit-bar anchor
Buy Preparation Area: red columns when DIF ≤ Oversold Level, marking a
potential bullish reversal zone.
█ IMPLEMENTATION NOTES
Standard Pine Script v6 built-ins: ta.ema(), ta.wma(), ta.alma(),
ta.crossover() / ta.crossunder(), ta.highest() / ta.lowest(),
ta.atr(), nz(). Zero-lag compensation subtracts the EMA of the EMA
from the original EMA. Logic is barstate.isconfirmed-compatible, so signals
fire on bar close; var variables persist position state across bars.
█ LIMITATIONS
• Best in trending conditions; choppy ranges can still produce whipsaw
• Oscillator lag is inherent — mitigated, not eliminated, by the zero-lag option
• ATR-based TP/SL does not guarantee fills (slippage, gaps, liquidity)
• Re-entry adds complexity and trade frequency; for experienced users only
• Not a standalone system; combine with price action and market structure
• Suggested timeframes 15m–4H; tested on liquid forex, crypto and indices
█ NOTES
• V2 is a full overhaul of V1; every new module can be toggled off to restore
V1-like behavior
• Defaults target general markets — fine-tune per instrument and timeframe
• Uses max_labels_count=500 to avoid label overflow on long history
