2. Focus on Rectangles First
Brandt considers rectangles with horizontal boundaries his highest-conviction patterns. When the indicator draws a colored box on your chart, that's a rectangle consolidation. The box shows you:

2) Catalyst AVWAP
When a new selected catalyst appears, the script anchors VWAP to that event bar.
This gives traders a live reference for post-event value.
3) Acceptance model
The indicator scores the reaction using:
- price vs catalyst AVWAP
- price vs the midpoint of the catalyst bar
- whether price is holding above/below the catalyst range
- the slope of the catalyst AVWAP
- how much of the event gap has been filled
If the score is strong enough, the move is classified as accepted.

🎯 PANEL 1 — TRADE (Position Sizing + Targets)
This panel calculates the exact position size for your trade based on your deposit, risk percentage, stop loss distance, leverage, and commissions.
Core formula:
positionSize = riskAmount / (slDistance% + commissionBothSides)
Where:
— riskAmount = deposit × riskPerTrade%
— slDistance% = slPercent × (1 + slippage%) — slippage is added to the stop distance for realistic sizing
— commissionBothSides = commission% × 2 (open + close)
This formula ensures that if your stop loss is hit, you lose exactly riskAmount — not more, not less — after accounting for both slippage and round-trip commission.

Multi Take-Profit mode:
When enabled, the position is split across 2 or 3 TP levels with configurable volume allocation:
— TP1 at R:R 1.0 with 50% of position → locks partial profit early
— TP2 at R:R 2.0 with 30% → captures the main move
— TP3 at R:R 3.0 with 20% (if 3 TPs) → runner for extended moves
Each TP shows: profit in USD, target price. The panel also computes:
— Total blended profit across all TPs
— Net R:R (blended, after commissions)
— Breakeven price after TP1 — the price where your remaining position becomes zero-loss after banking TP1 profit. This is critical: after TP1, you move your stop to this price — the trade can no longer lose money.
Example:
Deposit: $10,000. Risk: 1% ($100). SL: 2%. Commission: 0.04%.
Position = $100 / (0.02 + 0.0008) = $4,808.
If BTC at $100,000 → SL at $98,000, TP1 at $102,000.
If stopped out → you lose exactly $100 (1% of deposit).
If TP1 hit → you gain ~$96 (after commission).
⚠️ PANEL 2 — RISK (Stress Testing + Expected Value)
This panel answers: "What happens when I have a losing streak, and is my strategy mathematically profitable?"
Daily risk limit:
maxLosingDaily = floor(dailyRiskLimit% / riskPerTrade%)
Example: 3% daily limit, 1% per trade → you stop after 3 losses in a day.
Max drawdown limit:
maxLosingTotal = floor(maxDrawdown% / riskPerTrade%)
Example: 20% max DD, 1% per trade → 20 consecutive losses to hit max DD.
Stress test — losing streaks:
The panel computes what happens after 5, 7, and 10 consecutive losses:
— depositAfterN = deposit × (1 − riskPerTrade%)^N
— drawdownAfterN = (1 − (1 − riskPerTrade%)^N) × 100%
— probabilityOfN = (1 − winrate%)^N × 100%
Example: $10,000 deposit, 1% risk, 55% winrate:
— 5 losses: −4.9% DD ($9,510), probability 1.85%
— 7 losses: −6.8% DD ($9,321), probability 0.37%
— 10 losses: −9.6% DD ($9,044), probability 0.03%
This tells you: a 5-loss streak WILL happen (1.85% probability over hundreds of trades). A 10-loss streak is extremely rare (0.03%). Your risk% must be sized so that even the realistic worst case doesn't blow your account.
Expected Value (EV):
EV per trade = winrate × riskAmount × avgR:R − (1 − winrate) × riskAmount − commission
This is the single most important number in trading. If EV > 0, your strategy makes money over time. If EV < 0, no amount of position sizing saves you.
The panel shows:
— 📈 EV per trade in USD (highlighted — this is the headline metric)
— EV per 100 trades
— Break-even winrate WITH commission — the minimum winrate needed to be profitable at your R:R, accounting for commission drag
— Your actual WR and R:R for comparison
Break-even winrate formula (with commission):

This is more accurate than the standard 1/(R:R+1) because it accounts for commission reducing your net edge.
📈 PANEL 3 — GROWTH (Deposit Projection + Scenarios)
This is the unique deposit growth simulator — it projects where your deposit will be after N days of consistent trading, using either compound (reinvest profits) or simple (fixed risk from initial deposit) growth.
Compound growth formula:
EV per trade as % = winrate × (risk% × R:R) − (1 − winrate) × risk%
totalTrades = tradesPerDay × projectionDays
finalDeposit = deposit × (1 + evPerTrade%)^totalTrades
Simple growth formula:
finalDeposit = deposit + deposit × evPerTrade% × totalTrades
The difference is massive. Compound growth reinvests profits — each winning trade increases the base for the next trade. Simple growth always risks a fixed amount from the initial deposit.
Example — compound vs simple:
$1,000 deposit, 55% WR, 1:2 R:R, 1% risk, 3 trades/day, 30 days:
— Simple: $1,000 + $1,000 × 0.65% × 90 = $1,585
— Compound: $1,000 × (1.0065)^90 = $1,795
Over 90 days: $1,585 vs $1,795. Over 365 days the gap becomes enormous. This is why compound growth (reinvesting profits) is the key to deposit acceleration.
Three scenarios:
— 🟢 Optimistic: your winrate + 10% (what happens if you're having a great month)
— 🟡 Realistic: your actual parameters
— 🔴 Pessimistic: your winrate − 10% (what happens during a drawdown period)
This gives you a range, not a single number. If even the pessimistic scenario is positive, your strategy is robust.
Goal milestones:
— Days to 2× deposit (double your money)
— Days to 3× deposit
— Days to custom target ($5,000, $10,000, etc.)
Formula: daysToTarget = log(target / deposit) / (log(1 + evPerTrade%) × tradesPerDay)
Risk metrics:
— Max estimated drawdown: based on expected worst losing streak × risk%
— Ruin probability: the probability of losing your entire bankroll at your current risk level
Ruin probability formula:
edge = winrate × R:R − (1 − winrate)

If edge ≤ 0, ruin probability is effectively 100%. If edge > 0, ruin probability decreases exponentially with more bankroll units (lower risk%).
Presets for quick scenarios:
— Beginner: 45% WR, 1:2 R:R, 1% risk — conservative starting point
— Moderate: 55% WR, 1:2 R:R, 2% risk — typical intermediate trader

📐 PANEL 4 — KELLY CRITERION (Optimal Bet Sizing)
The Kelly Criterion is the mathematically optimal percentage of your bankroll to risk on each bet, given your edge. It maximizes the long-term growth rate of your account.
Kelly formula:
edge = winrate × avgR:R − (1 − winrate)
kellyPercent = edge / avgR:R
If edge ≤ 0 → Kelly = 0% (no edge, don't trade). If edge > 0 → Kelly tells you the maximum you should risk.
What the panel shows:
— Your winrate and avg R:R
— Break-even winrate (with commission)
— 📐 Edge per $1 risked — your mathematical advantage. If +$0.15, every $1 risked returns $1.15 on average.
— Full Kelly % — the theoretical maximum. Most traders should NOT use this — it's too aggressive.
— Half Kelly ✦ — the recommended practical value. Reduces variance by ~75% while giving up only ~25% of growth.
— Quarter Kelly — ultra-conservative, minimal variance.
— Your current risk % — so you can compare
— Status: 🟢 Optimal (between half and full Kelly), 🟡 Conservative (below half), 🔴 Over-bet (above full Kelly), 🚨 >2× Kelly (danger zone)
Growth rate comparison:
— Growth rate at Kelly %: the compound growth rate per trade at the optimal bet size
— Growth rate at your %: your actual compound growth rate per trade
Formula: growthRate = winrate × log(1 + risk% × R:R) + (1 − winrate) × log(1 − risk%)
If your rate is close to the Kelly rate, you're near-optimal. If it's much lower, you're leaving growth on the table. If it's negative (possible when over-betting!), you're actually losing money despite having a positive edge — the over-betting destroys the compounding.
Why this matters:
A trader with a 55% WR and 1:2 R:R has an edge. Kelly says risk ~4.6%. But if that trader risks 10% per trade (2× Kelly), their actual growth rate can become negative — they go broke despite having a winning strategy. This is the most counterintuitive result in trading mathematics: over-betting a winning system turns it into a losing system . The Kelly panel prevents this.
📖 HOW TO USE — STEP BY STEP
Step 1 — Enter your strategy parameters (My Strategy section):
— Deposit: your actual account balance in USD
— Risk per Trade: how much you risk per trade (start with 1% if unsure)
— Winrate: your historical win rate (be honest — check your journal)
— Average R:R: your average reward-to-risk on winning trades
— Trades per Day: how many trades you typically take
— Leverage: 1 for spot, or your futures leverage
— Commission: your exchange fee per side (Binance Futures taker: 0.04%)
Step 2 — Set up your current trade (Trade Setup section):
— Direction: Long or Short
— Stop Loss %: how far your SL is from entry
— Risk:Reward: your target R:R for this trade
— Entry Price: manual or auto from chart
Step 3 — Read the TRADE panel:
— The 💰 Position Size number is your order size in USD
— If using leverage, check Margin Required doesn't exceed your deposit
— Note the SL and TP prices — set these in your exchange
Step 4 — Check the RISK panel:
— Is your EV per trade positive? If not, your strategy loses money long-term
— Is your winrate above the break-even? If not, improve your R:R
— Check the stress test: can your deposit survive 7 losses in a row?

AG Pro Volume Profile POC Magnet Map is a chart-overlay indicator built around one practical question: how strongly is the current Point of Control attracting, holding, or losing price?
Instead of trying to replicate a full volume-profile workstation, this script focuses on the behavior of the active POC and the surrounding value area. The goal is to turn a familiar volume-profile concept into a cleaner decision-support map that helps users judge whether price is still interacting with the current fair-value center, rejecting it, reclaiming it, or beginning to establish value elsewhere.
The script is designed for users who want a visual framework around POC behavior without covering the chart with heavy histogram structures or overly complex dashboards. It highlights the active POC, the current Value Area High (VAH), the current Value Area Low (VAL), a compact magnet band around the POC, and a small set of reaction labels that describe how price is interacting with that area.
In short, this indicator is not trying to tell users what to buy or sell. It is trying to make one specific market reference more readable: the relationship between price and the current POC region.
What the script does
At a high level, the script does five things:
1) It builds a fixed-lookback volume-distribution map from recent chart data.
2) It derives the active POC, VAH, and VAL from that distribution.
3) It measures how close price is to the current POC and how often price revisits or accepts that region.
4) It converts those observations into a compact Magnet Score and state readout.
5) It marks a small set of price/POC interaction events such as Tag, Reject, and Reclaim.
The result is a visual tool that combines reference levels and contextual interpretation in one overlay.
Unique edge
Many indicators can show a POC. This script is built to answer a more specific question: what is the quality of the current POC as a magnet for price?
That difference matters. A raw POC line can be useful, but by itself it does not explain whether price is repeatedly returning to it, drifting away from it, rejecting it, or stabilizing around it. This script adds that missing context by combining the active POC with a behavior layer.
The design goal is not “more features.” The design goal is clearer interpretation:
- Is price still accepting the current value center?
- Is the POC functioning as a pullback magnet?
- Is price rejecting the area instead of accepting it?
- Is value beginning to migrate?
That is the role of the score, the state engine, and the reaction labels.
Methodology
The script uses a fixed lookback window and divides the recent price range into user-defined bins. It then allocates each bar’s volume to one price bin using the selected bar source, which can be Close or HLC3. From that distribution it identifies:
- POC: the highest-volume bin in the lookback window
- VAH: the upper boundary of the selected value area percentage
- VAL: the lower boundary of the selected value area percentage
After the levels are derived, the script evaluates how price is behaving relative to the active POC region.
The Magnet Score is built from multiple components:
- Distance: how far current price is from the POC, normalized by ATR
- Revisit behavior: how often price has returned to the POC region
- Acceptance behavior: how often price has closed near the POC region
- Stability: whether the POC is relatively stable or drifting quickly
- Rejection pressure: whether interactions with the POC region are ending in rejection rather than acceptance
These components are combined into a bounded 0-100 score. Higher readings suggest that the current POC remains a stronger center of attraction. Lower readings suggest weaker pull, weaker acceptance, or a market beginning to operate away from the current value center.
The script then classifies context into states such as:
- Magnet Strong
- Magnet Active
- POC Tagged
- POC Rejected
- Accepted Away
- Magnet Weakening
This state layer is designed to summarize the current context rather than generate automatic trading instructions.
How to read the chart
POC
The POC is the main reference line. It marks the highest-volume price zone inside the selected lookback distribution. If price repeatedly returns to it, reacts from it, or consolidates around it, that line is functioning as an active center of interest.
VAH and VAL
VAH and VAL define the current value-area boundaries. These help users judge whether price is still operating inside value or beginning to establish acceptance above or below it.
Magnet band
The magnet band is a narrow region around the POC. It exists to make POC interaction easier to read visually. It is not a claim that every touch is meaningful. It is simply a compact visual tolerance zone around the active POC.
Reaction labels
The script can display a small set of event labels:
- Tag: price reached the current POC region
- Reject: price interacted with the area and moved away
- Reclaim: price crossed back through the active POC after being on the other side
These labels are meant to help describe interaction, not to replace confirmation logic, risk management, or broader market context.

The panel summarizes:
- Magnet Score
- POC Distance
- POC Drift
- Value Context
- Last Reaction
- Current POC / VAH / VAL values
This gives users a quick status view without needing to inspect every line manually.
Typical use cases
This indicator may be useful when users want to:
- monitor whether pullbacks are still returning to the active POC
- judge whether price is still auctioning inside value or beginning to accept away from value
- compare different symbols for how “sticky” the current POC region appears to be
- add context to an existing structure, trend, or mean-reversion workflow
- keep a cleaner chart while still tracking basic volume-profile behavior
The script is intended as a context and interpretation layer. It is not a complete trading plan on its own.
Key inputs
Lookback Bars
Controls the size of the historical window used for the profile calculation. A larger value creates a broader context. A smaller value makes the profile more reactive.
Rows / Bin Count
Controls profile granularity. Higher values create more detailed binning. Lower values produce a smoother, simpler map.
Value Area %
Defines how much of total lookback volume is included inside the value area used to derive VAH and VAL.
Price Source For Bin Allocation
Lets users choose whether each bar’s volume is allocated using Close or HLC3. This changes how the profile is distributed across bins.
ATR Length
Used in normalization and spacing calculations, including the distance component and label positioning.
Magnet Band Width (ATR)
Controls the thickness of the tolerance zone around the active POC.
Distance Ceiling (ATR)
Caps how far price can be from the POC before the distance component is treated as maximally weak.
Revisit Window and Acceptance Window
These affect how the script measures repeated interaction and acceptance around the active POC region.
POC Drift Lookback
Used to estimate whether the active POC is relatively stable or shifting.
Label controls
Users can adjust label visibility, density, cooldown behavior, and right-edge line labels to keep the chart cleaner or more descriptive depending on preference.
Alerts
The script includes alert conditions for:
- POC Tag

These alerts are event-based notifications tied to the script’s contextual logic. They are not performance claims and they should not be interpreted as guaranteed entry or exit signals.
Limitations and transparency
This script uses a fixed-lookback, bar-based approximation of volume distribution. It does not reconstruct native exchange-level order flow, bid/ask delta, or true tick-by-tick auction detail.
Volume is allocated to bins using a selected bar source rather than full intrabar volume-at-price reconstruction. That means the profile is intentionally simplified so it can remain lightweight and readable inside a standard Pine overlay.
Because the script uses a rolling lookback window, the active POC, VAH, and VAL can change as older bars leave the window and newer bars enter it. That is normal behavior for this design.
The reaction labels are descriptive, not predictive. A Tag does not imply reversal. A Reject does not guarantee continuation. A Reclaim does not guarantee trend resumption. They are context markers showing how price interacted with the current POC area according to the script’s definitions.
This tool should be read in conjunction with price structure, volatility, liquidity conditions, and user-defined execution rules.
What this script is not
This script is not:
- a full session volume-profile suite
- an order-flow or footprint tool
- a prediction engine
- a guaranteed reversal detector
- a stand-alone trade system
It is a focused overlay for interpreting how price is behaving around the current Point of Control and value-area structure.
Practical interpretation notes
In many markets, the POC acts like a reference area rather than a directional signal. The more often price returns to it and the more often price stabilizes near it, the more useful that region can become as a working fair-value reference.
By contrast, when price begins to hold above VAH or below VAL and stops interacting meaningfully with the POC region, the script may shift toward weaker magnet states or accepted-away context. That does not automatically imply trend continuation, but it does suggest that the current value center may be losing influence.
Users may find this especially useful when comparing:
- balanced conditions vs. directional conditions
- shallow pullbacks vs. deeper value retests
- symbols that keep rotating through value vs. symbols that are clearly accepting away from it

V16 is a daily chart scoring indicator that evaluates whether a stock has the right conditions for a trade. Rather than giving a simple buy or sell signal, it scores the current setup out of 100 and tells you how strong the opportunity is before you commit to an entry. V16 is designed to be used first, before dropping to the 15 minute chart with V16E for the precise entry.
HOW IT WORKS

V16 watches three core indicators simultaneously and combines them into a single score out of 100. The score updates on every bar and is displayed in a table in the top right corner of your chart. The higher the score, the stronger the setup. The colour of the score changes from red through orange, yellow and green to bright green as confidence increases.
ADX - 40 points - the foundation

The Average Directional Index is the most heavily weighted component because without a real trend, the other indicators mean very little. ADX measures trend strength on a scale of 0 to 100. Anything below 20 is considered a ranging, choppy market where trades are unreliable. Above 25 is where a genuine trend begins.
ADX scores points in three ways:
Base Strength - how strong is the trend right now?
Above 75 = Extreme = 20 points
Above 50 = Very Strong = 16 points
Above 35 = Strong = 12 points
Above 25 = Moderate = 7 points
Above 20 = Developing = 2 points
Below 20 = No Trend = 0 points
Direction - is the trend getting stronger or weaker?
Rising strongly (3+ points vs 3 bars ago) = 12 points
Rising moderately (1-3 points) = 7 points
Flat (within 1 point) = 3 points
Falling = 0 points
DI Line Separation - how much conviction is behind the trend?
The two DI lines inside ADX show buying pressure (DI+) and selling pressure (DI-). When they are far apart and moving further apart, the trend has real conviction.
Gap 15+ and widening = 8 points
Gap 8-15 and widening = 6 points
Gap 8-15 flat = 4 points
Gap 4-8 = 2 points
Lines crossing/tangled = 0 points
RSI - 35 points - momentum and timing

The Relative Strength Index measures momentum. V16 uses RSI in a more refined way than just watching the standard 70 and 30 levels. It uses the RSI zone, a signal line crossover, and the 50 midline to determine the quality of the momentum behind the move.
RSI scores points in two ways:
Zone - where is RSI sitting right now?
Bull control zone 65-70 = 18 points (long)
Neutral high 55-65 = 14 points (long)
Trending bull 50-55 = 8 points (long)
Overbought above 70 = 10 points (long, extended)
Neutral 45-50 = 0 points
Trending bear 40-46 = 8 points (short)
Neutral low 35-40 = 14 points (short)
Bear control 30-35 = 18 points (short)
Oversold below 30 = 10 points (short, extended)
Signal Line and 50 Cross - is momentum confirmed?
V16 applies a 9 period EMA to the RSI, creating a signal line. Crossovers of this line are meaningful entry signals. The highest scoring condition is a pullback setup - where RSI dipped below 50 and has now recovered back above it while crossing the signal line. This pattern shows the trend is healthy and buyers stepped back in at the right moment.
Pullback below 50, now recrossing above 50 and signal line = 17 points
Pullback and RSI above signal line (no fresh cross) = 13 points
Fresh cross above signal line while above 50 = 12 points
RSI above signal line, above 50 = 8 points
Cross above signal line while below 50 (early) = 4 points
(Mirror conditions apply for short signals)
DELTA - 25 points - buying and selling pressure

Delta measures where each candle closed relative to its own high-low range. A candle that opened at the low and closed near the high shows strong buying pressure. A candle that did the opposite shows selling pressure. Delta scores points in three ways:
Zone - how strong is the pressure on this candle?
Strong buying or selling (60%+) = 10 points
Moderate buying or selling (20-60%) = 7 points
Weak (5-20%) = 3 points
Neutral (-5% to +5%) = 0 points
Direction - is pressure increasing or fading?
Rising strongly (10%+ increase) = 9 points (long)
Rising moderately (5-10%) = 6 points (long)
Flat (within 5%) = 3 points
Falling moderately = 4 points (short)
Falling strongly (10%+ decrease) = 9 points (short)
Momentum - has buying/selling been consistent over 3 bars?
Positive all 3 bars = 6 points (long)
Positive 2 of 3 bars = 3 points (long)

SIGNAL TYPES

When the score is active and DI lines confirm a direction, V16 identifies the type of setup:
Long Momentum
ADX strong, RSI above 50 and rising, delta positive. You are joining an existing uptrend that still has energy. Higher risk as the move has started but trend is clearly confirmed.
Long Pullback
ADX strong, RSI dipped below 50 within the last 5 bars and has now recovered back above it, delta turning positive. You are buying the dip within a healthy uptrend. Generally considered a higher quality entry with better risk-reward.
Short Momentum and Short Pullback follow the same logic in reverse.
DELTA AS A WARNING NOT A BLOCKER

Delta does not block a signal. If ADX and RSI conditions are met, V16 still shows the score even if delta is weak or neutral. A weak delta simply reduces the total score, making the signal appear in yellow or orange rather than green. This design prevents a single choppy candle from hiding what could be a valid setup on a strong trend day. You can see the delta value in the table at all times and use it as additional context for your own judgment.

Step 2 - Check the score. Is it 60 or above? Is the direction clear (Long or Short)?
Step 3 - If yes, open V16E on the same stock and set the timeframe to 15M in V16E settings.
Step 4 - Watch the V16E score build in real time on the 15 minute chart.
Step 5 - When V16E fires an arrow with a score above 70 in the same direction as V16, that is your entry point.
