This indicator captures and intuitively displays on the chart the exact moments when trading volume surges beyond a user-defined threshold ("n" times the average volume of the last "n" candles).
Without having to constantly look down at the complex volume bars at the bottom of your screen, you can identify powerful volume inflows directly on the candles themselves to build your trading strategies.

By default, it calculates the average volume over 'one week (672 bars)' based on a 15-minute timeframe. You can freely adjust this period to match your trading style.

It tracks the Point of Control (POC) within the volume-spiked candle down to lower timeframes (customizable by the user) and displays it as a horizontal line on the candle. If subsequent price action breaks or touches this POC price, an extension line is generated. This extension line is drawn only until the next volume-spiked candle appears. Since having too many automatic lines can become a distraction for chart analysis, we intentionally limited the extension—we recommend manually drawing further horizontal lines if you need to track historical POC levels longer.

After a new trend is formed by a marquee candle accompanied by large volume, sustaining that trend in the short term without a 'cool-down period' (corrective waves to ease overheating) requires consecutively larger volume. This indicator intuitively signals the continuation of such strong trends directly above or below the candles.
2. Overcoming One-Dimensional Divergence Errors
This helps you flexibly avoid one-dimensional divergence errors that often occur when relying solely on secondary indicators. By checking the actual volume directly at the top and bottom of the candles where volume surged, you can read the true strength of the market without being fooled by market fakeouts.

Momentum Pulse SignalsMomentum Pulse Signals
This indicator generates Buy/Sell badges from a simple momentum score (the "pulse"), then automatically manages an ATR-based stop loss and a risk:reward-based take profit for each signal, showing the resulting entry/stop/target levels directly on the chart.
The pulse is just two common indicators added together. RSI is re-centred so 50 becomes 0 and the range becomes −1 to +1. The MACD histogram is divided by its own recent standard deviation and clipped to the same −1 to +1 range, so it scales itself to whatever the instrument's normal histogram size happens to be. The two are blended with an adjustable weight. When the blended value pushes past a positive trigger level the state flips bullish; when it pushes past the negative trigger level it flips bearish. A badge prints on the flip. That's the whole idea.
Key Features
Blended RSI + MACD-histogram score generates the base Buy/Sell signal, with an optional candle-confirmation requirement (close beyond open in the signal direction).
The MACD part is normalised by its own rolling standard deviation, so the same trigger level works across instruments without rescaling.
A trigger level with a dead zone around zero means the state only flips on a decisive move, not on every wiggle across zero.
Optional slope filter: the pulse must also be moving in the signal's direction over the last few bars.
Automatic ATR-based stop loss and configurable Risk:Reward take profit are calculated for every new signal, with intermediate take-profit levels plotted when Risk:Reward is greater than 1.
On-chart entry / stop-loss / take-profit lines and an SL distance (in points) label, both toggleable.
Take-profit, stop-loss, and "invalidated" (opposite signal fired before target/stop was hit) markers are plotted separately so you can see how each trade idea played out.
Optional baseline plot coloured by whether the pulse is positive or negative.
Real-price calculation via request.security() keeps signals consistent regardless of chart type (Heikin Ashi, Renko, etc.).
A full set of alertcondition() calls for Buy/Sell signals, take-profit hits, stop-loss hits, and invalidated entries.
How to Use
Start with the defaults. Raise the Pulse Trigger Level if you want fewer badges, lower it if you want more.
Shorten the Normalization Length to make the MACD side react faster, lengthen it to make it steadier.
Move the RSI Weight toward 1 to lean on RSI, toward 0 to lean on MACD.
Turn the slope filter off if you want signals the moment the level is crossed rather than waiting for agreement.
Watch the on-chart entry/SL/TP lines to track an open idea's risk and progress.
Set alerts on "Buy/Sell Signal", "Entry Signal", "Take Profit Hit", "Stop Loss Hit", or "Entry Invalidated" depending on which events you want. Индикатор

INTRODUCTION
Candle Majick - Booby Trap Detector mk1 is an educational market-context indicator that evaluates apparent bullish and bearish reversal candles as developing hypotheses rather than automatic trade signals.
A reversal candle can look persuasive while still forming in a location where the market has not completed the structural work normally needed to support a genuine turn. This script was designed to examine that distinction.
Instead of asking only, “Is this a hammer, engulfing candle, pin bar, outside reversal, morning star, or evening star?”, the indicator asks a more useful question:
Has the surrounding market context earned the reversal thesis, or is the candle vulnerable to becoming a continuation trap?
WHAT THE SCRIPT ANALYZES
The indicator combines candle geometry with several independent context layers:
• Named intraday key-level zones:
- Previous-Day High and Low
- Developing Session High and Low
- Session VWAP
- Nearest configured Round Number
• Named swing key-level zones:
- Previous-Week High and Low
- Previous-Month High and Low
- Confirmed Swing High and Low
- Two optional user-defined manual levels
• Key-level distance and confluence
• Repeated-level testing and level-fatigue proxy
• Nearby confirmed swing references that may represent probable unswept liquidity
• Round-number surface-bounce behavior
• Relative-volume and true-range expansion used as a News-Like Event Proxy
• Three configurable higher-timeframe trend contexts:
- Tactical
- Structural
- Macro
• Persistent candidate memory
• Early retail-trap warnings
• Confirmed reversal-failure events
HOW THE ENGINE WORKS
1. A supported reversal pattern is detected.
2. The pattern receives a raw geometry score based on measurable candle proportions.
3. Setup quality is adjusted according to location. A strong-looking candle that forms away from every enabled key level is downgraded.
4. Trap risk is calculated from contextual warnings, including poor location, nearby unswept swing references, repeated testing, round-number behavior, abnormal expansion, and higher-timeframe contradiction.
5. The candidate is preserved for a configurable evaluation window rather than being recreated on every bar.
6. A WARN event can appear when the reversal candle is contextually vulnerable but has not yet failed.
7. A confirmed BT event appears only when price later violates the stored reversal thesis.
This separation matters. A warning is not treated as a confirmed trap, and candle geometry is not treated as reversal proof.
HOW TO USE
Apply the indicator to the chart timeframe used for execution.
Configure the three higher timeframes so they represent the context relevant to your trading horizon. For example, a lower-timeframe trader may use 15 minutes, 1 hour, and 4 hours.
Keep the named zones visible while learning the chart map. The script can display abbreviated names such as PDH, PDL, PWH, PWL, PMH, PML, SH, SL, VWAP, and RN, or spell the names out fully.
The available chart-label modes are:
• Off — hides event labels.
• Stealth — shows confirmed booby traps only.
• Icon Only — uses minimal symbols while preserving hover explanations.
• Compact — shows short event codes and associated higher timeframes.
• Verbose — prints classifications, scores, and higher-timeframe conflict directly on the chart.
Interpret the events as follows:
• Grey candidate marker:
A reversal pattern has been detected. This is an observation, not an entry signal.
• WARN:
Contextual trap risk is elevated, but the candidate has not yet been invalidated.
• BT:
The stored reversal thesis failed during its evaluation window.
Hover over labels for the exact reasons that contributed to the event.
WHY THIS SCRIPT IS VALUABLE
Many candlestick scanners stop at pattern recognition. That can encourage traders to react to appearance without evaluating location, unfinished liquidity work, repeated level testing, abnormal expansion, or higher-timeframe continuation pressure.
Candle Majick - Booby Trap Detector mk1 is designed to fill that gap.
Its value is not that it finds more reversal candles. Its value is that it:
• downgrades unsupported reversal setups;
• distinguishes warnings from confirmed failures;
• preserves the original candidate context;
• associates trap events with three higher-timeframe regimes;
• provides named key-level zones for faster chart cognition;
• and explains why a candle received its classification.

This implementation was independently written for this project in Pine Script v6.
No third-party or previously published Pine source code was copied, adapted, translated, or incorporated into this implementation. The script uses TradingView’s documented Pine built-ins, standard mathematical operations, and original project-specific logic for candidate memory, scoring, key-level zoning, higher-timeframe context, event classification, visual presentation, and explanations.
EDUCATIONAL TOOLTIP NOTICE
The tooltips are included for education, transparency, and auditability. They explain which measured facts and explicitly identified proxies contributed to a warning or trap classification.
The tooltips are not advertising, financial advice, performance guarantees, or claims of predictive certainty.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
This script does not have direct access to:
• resting orders;
• institutional intent;
• real stop orders;
• confirmed economic-news causation;
• bid/ask delta;
• cumulative volume delta;
• footprint imbalance;
• or market-by-order data.
Accordingly, terms such as Probable Liquidity, News-Like Event, Level Fatigue, and Trap Risk describe analytical proxies—not directly observed order-flow facts.
Higher-timeframe requests use lookahead disabled for trend calculations. Swing references use confirmed pivots. Candidate markers remain on their original bars, while warnings and confirmed failures appear only when those events are observed.
This indicator is an analytical and educational tool. It should be combined with independent judgment, risk management, and appropriate market knowledge.

Candlestick Edge Auto-Preset MTF Self-CalibratingCandlestick Edge only fires a candlestick pattern when it is "rightly placed" — confirmed by a higher-timeframe trend AND by where price sits in the developing volume profile. Then it does what most pattern tools don't: it forward-tests every signal and reports the MEASURED edge per pattern, so you read realized performance instead of a marketing claim.
WHY THIS IS ONE TOOL (not a bundle)
The parts answer one question about one candle: "is this pattern in a place that has historically paid, and does it beat a coin-flip here?"
PATTERN detection says WHAT printed (24 classic candlestick patterns).
HTF ALIGNMENT says whether the bigger trend agrees.
VOLUME-PROFILE POSITIONING says WHERE it printed — reversals only at value-area edges, naked POC, HVN support/resistance, or liquidity sweeps; continuations only through low-volume voids or on a value breakout.
The CALIBRATION SPINE forward-resolves each signal with a triple barrier and reports Hit% vs a matched Base% (Edge) with a Wilson confidence interval, so a placed-and-confirmed pattern can be told apart from a small-sample fluke.
One pattern substrate, one location read, one calibration spine.
MEASUREMENT (the differentiator)
Each signal opens at close with target = ±TP·ATR, stop = ∓SL·ATR, over a fixed horizon. The first barrier touched decides win/loss (same-bar tie counts as the stop — conservative). Base% is the unconditional same-barrier win-rate for that direction. Edge = Hit% − Base%; a "*" marks rows whose Wilson 95% lower bound clears the base rate. A leave-one-out row prices each filter's marginal contribution, and a footer lists only the patterns that are green AND have enough samples to trust in the current configuration.
AUTO PRESET (default on)
Candlestick edges are timeframe-specific. Auto Preset reads the chart's timeframe and switches on the pattern subset plus higher-timeframe distance that performed best for that timeframe in the author's study of NSE index futures, and forces the two filters on. Turn it OFF for full manual research mode: all 24 patterns selectable, filters and HTF distance (3x / 5x / 15x / custom) under your control. Nothing is ever removed — the preset only curates which patterns are active by default per timeframe.
HOW TO USE
Leave Auto Preset on and read the labelled signals (teal = bullish, red = bearish, each tagged with the pattern name). Open "Show scoreboard" to see measured Edge per pattern — trust the EDGE column and the "*", never a raw hit-rate. Best behaviour is on intraday timeframes (1H and below).
ORIGINALITY
Standard techniques are credited below. What is original is the combination: a location-gated pattern engine whose every signal is forward-calibrated, a timeframe-adaptive auto-preset, a leave-one-out filter attribution, and an auto-surfaced tradeable set — measured edge, not asserted.
NON-REPAINT
Signals open on confirmed bars; triple-barrier outcomes resolve on bars AFTER the trigger; all higher-timeframe / lower-timeframe / prior-day-POC requests use lookahead_off and confirmed intrabars. Pivots used by sweeps confirm first.
DATA & MARKETS
Runs on any symbol that reports volume; the developing profile needs volume to be meaningful. Defaults are tuned for intraday index futures. On the Enhanced data tier the delta read uses intrabar aggregation (richer on paid plans) and auto-falls-back to an OHLCV proxy when intrabars aren't served — safe to leave on for any plan.

HONESTY / LIMITS
The profile is an ATR-binned developing session profile (not tick POC). Delta is an estimate (proxy or intrabar reconstruction), not true bid/ask. Reported edge is context measured on loaded history — not a prediction or a promise. The preset defaults were tuned on one instrument over a recent window, so treat them as a well-measured hypothesis, not proven alpha.

WHAT IT DOES
This indicator maps the market's time structure into nested cycles based on Quarterly Theory — from 22/23-minute micro cycles up to yearly and 4-year cycles — and scans a triad of three correlated instruments for SMT divergence at every scale. It draws cycle boundaries, quarter labels and True Opens, and prints signal and entry marks with configurable triggers and alerts.
CYCLES
Nine nested scales: Micro (22/23 min), 90-Minute, 6H, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly and 4-Year — all anchored to the New York 18:00 session open, DST-safe. On every chart timeframe the indicator works three tiers (LTF / MTF / HTF); higher scales can be shown optionally. Supported chart timeframes: 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, Daily, Weekly and Monthly.
SMT DETECTION
Choose a triad preset (NQ/ES/YM · DXY/EU/GU · NQ/ES/NKD · BTC/ETH/SOL · DXY/6E/6B · GC/SI/HG · ZB/TN/ZF) or set three custom symbols. Each symbol is evaluated against its own reference level inside the cycle structure; when the triad disagrees, a divergence mark prints on the bar where it happened:

Inverse-correlated triads (e.g., DXY against EU/GU) are handled automatically — custom triads get per-symbol inverse switches. Detection basis is selectable (wick, close, or wick+close confluence), and the entry trigger can be immediate or CISD close-through. A quarter-pair panel controls which quarter relationships are evaluated, and an optional True-Open premium/discount gate is included (off by default).
TRUE OPENS
TMSO, TSO (session), TDO (daily), TWO (weekly), TMO (monthly), TQO (quarterly) and TYO (yearly) — each drawn from the true opening price of its cycle, on the chart timeframes where it is tradeable.
QUARTER LABELS
A label row names each timeframe's quarters — micro quarters on 1m, up through days, weeks, months, calendar quarters and years on higher charts. One label per window, centered in the window.
SIGNAL CONTROL
The Signals group shows exactly what you want and nothing more: SMT marks, entry marks, invalidation ✕, TS marks, forming marks, and whether scales above your HTF tier draw at all. Per-cycle and per-tier visibility switches are separate. An experimental time-based signal filter is included (off by default).
ALERTS
Four static alert conditions (SMT bearish/bullish, CISD entry bearish/bullish) plus detailed alert() payloads carrying the scale, pair, symbols and cause — create the alert with "Any alert() function call". Alerts can be scoped to one scale or all.
NOTES
Chart one of the triad symbols for the cleanest reading; with an inverse member in the triad (e.g., DXY), signal direction reads from the other two symbols.
Time anchors are New York based; built around futures sessions and also usable on FX, crypto and stocks.
The top-right readout always shows the active triad and configuration.

On every chart timeframe the indicator works three tiers (LTF / MTF / HTF); higher scales can be shown optionally. Supported chart timeframes: 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, Daily, Weekly and Monthly.
SMT DETECTION
Choose a triad preset (NQ/ES/YM · DXY/EU/GU · NQ/ES/NKD · BTC/ETH/SOL · DXY/6E/6B · GC/SI/HG · ZB/TN/ZF) or set three custom symbols. Each symbol is evaluated against its own reference level inside the cycle structure; when the triad disagrees, a divergence mark prints on the bar where it happened:

Inverse-correlated triads (e.g., DXY against EU/GU) are handled automatically — custom triads get per-symbol inverse switches. Detection basis is selectable (wick, close, or wick+close confluence), and the entry trigger can be immediate or CISD close-through. A quarter-pair panel controls which quarter relationships are evaluated, and an optional True-Open premium/discount gate is included (off by default).
TRUE OPENS
TMSO, TSO (session), TDO (daily), TWO (weekly), TMO (monthly), TQO (quarterly) and TYO (yearly) — each drawn from the true opening price of its cycle, on the chart timeframes where it is tradeable.
QUARTER LABELS
A label row names each timeframe's quarters — micro quarters on 1m, up through days, weeks, months, calendar quarters and years on higher charts. One label per window, centered in the window.
SIGNAL CONTROL
The Signals group shows exactly what you want and nothing more: SMT marks, entry marks, invalidation ✕, TS marks, forming marks, and whether scales above your HTF tier draw at all. Per-cycle and per-tier visibility switches are separate. An experimental time-based signal filter is included (off by default).
ALERTS
Four static alert conditions (SMT bearish/bullish, CISD entry bearish/bullish) plus detailed alert() payloads carrying the scale, pair, symbols and cause — create the alert with "Any alert() function call". Alerts can be scoped to one scale or all.
NOTES
Chart one of the triad symbols for the cleanest reading; with an inverse member in the triad (e.g., DXY), signal direction reads from the other two symbols.
Time anchors are New York based; built around futures sessions and also usable on FX, crypto and stocks.
The top-right readout always shows the active triad and configuration.
