AVAX: Two Levels, One Road Map

630
AVAX AVAX is approaching an important decision area.

Price has moved back into the red resistance zone on the 4H chart. From here, I don't think there is any reason to rush into a position.
There are two areas I want to watch.
The first is the current resistance zone.

If AVAX breaks above this area with a strong 4H candle and can hold the breakout, the structure becomes much more interesting. In that case, I would look for a breakout confirmation or a retest before considering the continuation setup.

The second area is the support zone around 7.1–7.3.
If the resistance rejects price and AVAX comes back down into this zone, this is where I would start looking for bullish price action again — not simply buying because price reached support, but waiting for a reaction, rejection, liquidity sweep or another confirmation that buyers are actually defending the area.

So for me, the chart is less about predicting the next candle and more about having a roadmap.

The setup
Scenario 1 — Breakout

AVAX breaks the red resistance zone → holds above it → confirms the breakout/retest.
In this case, the next major area on the chart is around 10.5.

Scenario 2 — Pullback
AVAX fails to break resistance → moves back toward the 7.1–7.3 support zone → bullish reaction appears.
That would give us another potential area to build a long setup from.

Invalidation: 6.7
A sustained move below 6.7 would significantly weaken this roadmap and tell us that the current bullish idea needs to be reassessed.
Why AVAX is interesting right now
There is also some useful fundamental context behind the chart.

Avalanche is continuing to develop its infrastructure around customizable L1s, interoperability and institutional applications. The network's upcoming Helicon upgrade is scheduled for September 22, 2026, bringing changes to C-Chain execution and gas pricing as well as validator staking rules.

There has also been recent attention around institutional and real-world-asset activity on Avalanche, including Janus Henderson becoming a validator and Aave's plans around tokenized RWA credit markets. These developments don't guarantee anything for AVAX price, but they are relevant when considering why the asset is receiving renewed attention.

Avalanche's current architecture is also increasingly focused on allowing applications and institutions to operate dedicated L1s while remaining connected through Avalanche's interoperability infrastructure.

That is the part of the fundamental story I find more useful here: AVAX is not only being traded as another altcoin; the network is trying to position itself as infrastructure for applications, financial products and customized blockchains.

  • But fundamentals don't replace confirmation on the chart.
  • For this setup, the important levels remain simple:
  • Resistance → breakout confirmation → continuation

or
  • Support → bullish reaction → setup
  • Until one of those happens, there is no need to force a trade
  • What matters most
  • This chart is a road map, not an instruction to buy now.

The resistance zone is already being tested, so chasing the current price gives us a worse-defined trade.
I would rather wait for the market to show its hand.
If resistance breaks and holds, we have a continuation scenario toward 10.5.
If resistance rejects and price returns to 7.1–7.3, we have another area where a new setup can potentially develop.
And if 6.7 breaks, the entire bullish roadmap needs to be reconsidered.

The level is important.
The reaction at the level is even more important.

Risk Warning: This is educational market analysis, not financial advice. AVAX and the wider crypto market can be highly volatile. Always define your invalidation, position size and maximum risk before entering a trade.
