The historical baseline stays frozen and later closes are recorded separately. At that dated review, the documented operating mode was ACTIVE under the predefined rules, despite the negative forward total. ACTIVE is a research classification at that review date, not a claim that the losses are benign or a signal for the next AXP trade.
