My most enlightening chart ever. This came about from a discussion as to weather Bitcoin was an asset, currency, digital gold, or does it have value. This is not a new idea, but the first time I have charted it in this way. I argued Bitcoin should not be valued by the dollar but by gold.
Getting to the point, Gold arrows buy gold sell bitcoin, blue arrows buy Bitcoin sell gold. Looks like it's time to buy bitcoin. The channel defines the big moves and the stochastics help with the interim. My point here is that on a weekly chart you have several days to make the move from gold to bitcoin or visa verse.
I have been destroyed lately by the Bitcoin downturn and all the chop. Short term trades have been killing me. I am now long on crypto with confidence to HODL, until the next weekly peek.
