Will Gold Continue to Fall Today? Pay Attention to Key Signals
From a technical perspective, the bulls' immediate priority is to hold the near-term support at $4675 and attempt to retest the resistance zone of $4722-$4750. If this area is effectively broken and held, gold prices are expected to further test previous highs, opening up new upward potential. Conversely, if $4675 is breached, $4652 will become the next key support level, and the previous lower channel support zone will re-enter traders' attention.
Trading Recommendation: Continue to monitor the selling resistance at $4723-$4747 and the buying support levels at $4670-$4667-$4642.
For silver, $84.70 is a key short-term support level. After stabilizing above this level, the targets are $86.00 and $87.26 respectively. The first resistance level to watch is $85.80, with a further break above that targeting $87.26. It is worth noting that the gold-silver ratio is still at a historically high level, close to 60 times. Historically, this level means that silver has significant room for appreciation relative to gold, and its medium- to long-term investment value should not be ignored.
