One of the names I’ve been watching closely lately for a possible entry is MU (Micron Technology).
After last week’s sell-off (dropping from highs near $440 down to roughly $383), the stock has been attracting strong institutional volume. In fact, it’s been among the top tickers for big-money flow in recent sessions, which makes it worth keeping on the watchlist.
At the moment, price appears to be in an ABSORPTION phase consolidating and working through liquidity in the $370–380 area without strong directional movement yet.
I would feel more comfortable considering a trade if price pulls back toward the $353 region, which looks like a more attractive risk/reward zone, but if we start seeing clear buying volume come in and price begins to push higher with conviction, that would also be a setup where I’d feel okay looking for an entry on strength.
For those who trade options, one idea worth considering is a bull put spread around the 330 / 325 strikes. Depending on current implied volatility and fills, this could offer roughly 20–25% return over a 2-3 week period.
The simpler approach is to buy shares outright and target a 6–9% move over the next couple of weeks, assuming the AI / memory demand narrative continues to play out.
For now this is just an observation still today/tomorrow, I’m tracking and waiting for price to give a clearer signal.
As always, this is part of my personal trading notes, not a recommendation.
