Today, the NASDAQ opened the week with a slight dip lower after the weekend, but the move was quickly bought up and absorbed by the market. This was most likely driven by investors reacting to incoming headlines and developments surrounding the ongoing Iran–USA situation.
However, we won't spend too much time analyzing the news itself, as the narrative around these developments has been changing constantly. Instead, let's focus on today's trading opportunities.
🟢 The index has pushed strongly higher and remains firmly within an uptrend. My expectation is for a pullback toward the green line, either before or shortly after the US market open, followed by another move higher toward the green target zone.
🔴 If the market starts moving lower, I would only consider looking for short positions from the red line, and even then with increased caution due to the prevailing bullish trend.
As long as the broader uptrend remains intact, buying pullbacks continues to offer the more favorable risk-to-reward setup.
