The Macro Picture 🗺️
QQQ has just completed a textbook liquidity sweep inside the macro uptrend that began at the April $560 floor. After the early-June double rejection at the $755 macro ceiling, price executed exactly the kind of structural reset the prior read flagged — only to extend it one tier deeper, wicking below $700 to $685 before reclaiming the level in a single-week V-shape. That kind of vertical recovery is how powerful trends shake out late shorts and over-leveraged longs in one move, before continuing in the original direction. RSI tracked the same V from oversold $40 back through equilibrium, confirming momentum has fully reset without breaking trend.
The Setup ⚙️
The Sweep: The mid-June flush to $685 ran the obvious sell stops resting under the $700 decision zone — a manufactured low designed to trap breakdown sellers and shake out late longs in a single move. Crucially, the daily close held above the ascending trendline from $560, keeping the macro structure intact.
The Reclaim: The vertical recovery from $685 back through $700 and into the $725 range resistance is the cleanest possible reclaim signature — bulls are defending the structure, and the speed of the V suggests deep-pocket demand resting under $700.
The Trendline: The rising support from the April $560 origin sits directly under current price; as long as daily closes hold above it, the path of least resistance points toward another test of the $755 macro ceiling.
The Roadmap: Primary target sits at $755 — a reclaim of $725 on a daily close opens the path back to the macro ceiling, and a clean break above $755 unlocks a continuation leg toward $780. Invalidation: a clean 1D close back below $700 would invalidate this bullish reclaim thesis and re-open the path toward the $590 macro support shelf.
