As short-term structural resistance forms, it gradually shifts down to the 5170-5190 range; it even exhibits a relatively prominent resistance effect in the 5145-5165 range.
However, although gold is trending bearish, it has not continued a clear downtrend, and there is some buying support below. Furthermore, from a technical perspective, gold needs a technical correction after the sharp drop. Therefore, gold is expected to maintain an overall range-bound movement. The primary technical support is currently in the 5080-5060 area, followed by the 5040-5020 area. Therefore, I still maintain that during this period of consolidation, while shorting gold, there is also room for flexible long positions.
Therefore, for short-term trading, we can follow these trading strategies:
