🔍 Gold Price Action 🔍
There it is.
Yesterday afternoon, the daily VWAP acted as very strong resistance. As you can see, it's a very useful indicator, both for finding entries and setting profit targets.
The short setup never triggered yesterday afternoon because price failed to reverse from that area, so the bullish bias remained intact.
For now, I would continue to favor longs over the coming sessions, while giving the market some room to breathe.
The 2-year Treasury yield is sitting at 4.285%, yet gold is moving higher. This divergence is the most important signal in the market this morning.
The catalyst is Donald Trump's public pledge to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, marking a clear escalation from the current air campaign, which has been focused only on military infrastructure.
The regime that has weighed on gold since January — rising yields, a stronger U.S. dollar, and weaker gold prices — is starting to crack.
When safe-haven demand outweighs the negative impact of higher yields, it suggests that markets are pricing in something much bigger than inflation alone.
